Excellent. Jim came out and reviewed the work needed to be done and called to inform me price and time frame. He ordered the needed parts and came out to effect the repairs. He sent pictures of before and after work. The cost was very reasonable. He was true to his estimate and no extra things were needed as with some who will say one thing and add work unexpectedly.

Great! Jim Hoctor really runs a professional small business. Jim answered my initial call in a timely manner. He schedule our inspection and consultation within a few days. He arrived on time for the inspection and the repair work and did an outstanding job on the work he performed. The cost of the work was fair ($850). Allrestore Contracting will be my roofing contractor moving forward. They were a pleasure to do business with. I strongly recommend Jim and Allrestore to any and all homes owners in the greater Myrtle Beach SC area.

Great. It is a rental house and owners are out of town. Jim and mike were ultimate communicators in the job process. The job was excellent with upmost professionalism. Jim is all about customer service and satisfaction. The job was scheduled and completed as stated. The personal care was highly appreciated from an out of town owner. I would certainly contact AllRestore for future needs.

Jim and his gutter contractor did a great job replacing our roof and gutters. Jim was thorough and timely and everything went as planned on our house. The details were explained in a precise manner and he made sure the client was informed throughout the job. I would recommend Jim and Allrestore for any roofing job you may have, damaged or replacement. Our roof was just showing it's age and shingles needed replacing and Allrestore knocked out the job in one day. Granted it was a straight-forward job being an A-frame type structure but they did an outstanding job.

We have had some recent heavy rains and the leak now drains and is not leaking. WE had another bid from a local roofer who has been in business a ling time that wanted 2 times the price. Jim Hoctor was very helpful in coming up with the solution to our problem. They were professional and overall a very satisfactory.

We met with several different contractors before hiring Jim. He was thorough and took the time to explain everything he saw. There were many bad things on our roof that needed correcting. Our ventilation was all wrong and we lacked proper valleys and underlayment for the first several feet. As this is a summer house and we were there for just a couple of weeks to get things done before summer, Jim managed to arrange his crews schedule to gets us done while we were still there. The materials were all top notch and the installation was done very well. We had rain twice during the project and they made sure that everything was covered well before leaving the roof. There were no leaks even though part of the roof was stripped. I can't praise Jim and his crew for the courteous and professional way in which they handled this job. The last best part was that he told us how to find a coupon on Angie's list to help reduce our costs. I would use Allrestore and especially Jim any time I can in the future.

After discovering that the contractor we were working with lied about being GAF certified, we contacted Allrestore Contracting through Angie's List. Jim was very professional from the start. He showed up on time and carefully looked at each room. He took about 45 minutes to review the room damages, and to climb on the roof to inspect. He spent another 30-45 minutes thoroughly explaining the damages and what needed to be replaced and why. We signed with him on the spot. He gave us a 2 week estimate but once he realized the roof was leaking with every rain he tried to move things around for us. He was able to get out the next week to get the work done. He estimated it taking roofers two days. It actually only took one day and a couple of hours the next morning. And Jim was practically on site checking the work constantly. The painters spent an about 4 hours a day repairing the inside damage for two days. Jim also popped in each day to see how this was going and how things were looking. All in all, the work looks fantastic. I'm no longer running around my house like a mad woman during and after rain to find where new leaks have sprung up. It is reassuring to know that we have a 20 year warranty that is transferable up to 10 years. P.S. After a huge wind storm a few weeks later, I came home to some J Flashing missing from the roof. I texted Jim and asked if it had anything to do with the installation. he said that it didn't, because they don't touch the siding. However he came out (at no charge) and nailed the flashing back into place. That was extremely nice! I would recommend Jim and his company to anyone and everyone that i come into contact with in the future!! :)

I had a new roof installed in July 2016 by a contracting company that put OSB board and shingles on awning over my Carolina Room and outside porch. In addition to the fact that the awnings are not meant to support that weight I had water pouring in my Carolina Room and den. I called Allrestore to come out to assess the damage. Jim Hoctor came out on February 8, 2016 to assess the situation. He took many photos and spent a great deal of time explaining what the problems were. I was thoroughly impressed with his promptness, professionalism and patience. Jim told me that their availability would be 1 1-2-2 weeks. After reading many reviews I decided to go with Allrestore. In less than two weeks the job was completed with much satisfaction. After the job was completed Jim sat down with me and showed me the many photos he took of the work in progress and the completed job. There was no time wasted getting the job done and a great clean up was done afterwards by the crew. I have nothing but praise and great appreciation for Jim HOCTOR and Allrestore. They turned my nightmare of being taken advantage of by a contractor into a happy ending. I definitely recommend them!

They did a great job. I would highly recommend him. He came prepared. He was here in a minimum amount of time. He got the job done quickly and efficiently.

The Allrestore team worked very hard to complete the job before the weather became rainy. They were cheerful and professional on this difficult project. My roof is especially high and they did a fantastic job. Previously I had received an estimate from this company for a different home we did not purchase. After we purchased a home a new roof was our first renovation project. We will definitely hire them in the future for other needs.

First I was provided with a very detailed estimate which included many pictures of the areas that were damaged with a complete description of what materials and time was needed to repair the damages. Then I was provided with a complete detail of the new roof including a change to the venting that was originally on the house when I purchased it. The documentation in the estimate was so complete that I had very few questions. When they came to do the work they worked very steady and acted extremely professional. They showed up when expected. worked very hard to make sure it was done correctly and cleaned up every trace of waste from the old shingles and nails and packaging materials. And finished in the time I was told it would take. When they were done you could not tell they had been there. except that I had a new roof. The trim work they did is perfect. I am extremely pleased with the way the whole project was handled from start to finish

Everything went very well...from the estimate to the actual roofing. Jim Hoctor was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would definetly recommend Allrestore to any one looking for a roof replacement.

We needed repair on a patio enclosure roof that another contractor had installed and then left the area. After reading other reviews on Angies List, we contacted Jim Hoctor of Allrestore. Jim could not have been any more professional, and efficient. He came out, took pictures of the damages, explained what the original jerk did wrong, sent them to the parent company of the idiot and we had approval from them in a couple of days to go ahead with the repair. He took what could have been a nightmare and turned it into a "nothing to worry about" deal. He exceeded all of our expectations and if we ever need anything else we will call him first.

He took pictures and told me what was going on with my roof. I had had repairs done 2 months ago that cost $350 by someone else, and he was puzzled about what had been done. He also discovered that the previous repairs were done with Silicone which never should be used on roof repairs. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I told him a roofer that came out the day before said I needed my roof vent replaced at a cost of $750, and he said that would not fix for the leak. He saved me paying $750 for nothing. He told me to have the debris that had accumulated in the ridge blown out by a handyman, and he believed that would correct the leak. He also said I would probably need the roof replaced in 5-10 years. This guy really knew what he was talking about. I would use him in the future.

All went well Hopefully his minor repairs will last as long as the rest of the roof.

I started my search for roofers on Angie?s list. I read the reviews and narrowed my list to three contractors. Jim Hoctor with Allrestore stood out from the group based on his quality service, experience, and professionalism. He answered the phone the first time and subsequently, every time I called when asking questions or planning my roof repair. He worked around my schedule. My choice was solidified when I mentioned the need for roof repair to a coworker. They recommended Jim Hoctor with Allrestore and had nothing but great things to say. When Jim arrived to look at my roof I thought he would take a couple measurements and then prepare an estimate. He took about an hour taking measurements with pictures to prepare his estimate. Needless to say, it was very thorough. He explained the entire process in detail, including the different grades of roofing product and warranties available. He also showed me why my roof prematurely failed and how he could remedy the problem. In addition to reshingling the roof correctly, his team would fix the gable vents and improve the ridge venting. Jim showed shingle samples to my wife and I, even going so far as to model the colors on our roof to help us coordinate with the house color. His service is excellent. There was no pressure during our meeting, only a mention of his earliest availability. When we signed our contract with Jim we planned on getting started in two weeks time with a project length of two days. There was a surprise opening in his schedule and we agreed to start in two days. The night before the reroof the materials were delivered and placed in my yard. The team accommodated my HOA hours of construction and completed the job in two full days. Because of a possibility of rain the crew did half the roof at a time, to ensure my house would be protected from rain. The clean up took place at the end of every day. All debris was picked up, including the use of large rolling magnets to get the hard to see nails. Jim?s crew was professional and made the most of their days onsite. We are very happy with our great looking new roof and we have a transferrable 50-year warranty. We gave our roof the ultimate test with the recent hurricane and it passed with flying colors. We live in Canada and own a property with 2 homes on it in Georgetown, SC. In June, I was extremely distressed because our brand new roofs (only 2 months old) were leaking according to our tenants. The weather had been very rainy and was only getting worse. After finding him to be #1 on Angie's List, Bob responded to my initial email inquiry in only 30 minutes! Bob reassured me that he would perform a thorough inspection and boy did he ever! In less than a week he had a complete, 75-page professional report for me (including 150 photos) which listed all of the many many installation errors with our new roof. We booked him and he had both roofs done within 3 weeks. He also provided an additional 50-page report (with another 100 photos) as he was doing the tear down and new installation, which greatly assisted us when we filed a dispute with our credit card company. We got 100% of our money back from Visa thanks to Bob. So far, our news roofs seem airtight and wonderful. After the terrible rains in SC these past 2 weeks, we feel great knowing our house is dry.

Jim is a very knowledgeable professional. He spent time studying and photographing the roof and then met with us to discuss his findings. It was clear he would perform roof replacement to the highest ethical standards. He provided four different options each at a different price point with full explanations for the differences. We decided not to purchase this home so we will not hire him for this particular job but we would definitely hire him in the future for any of the services he offers.

The entire project from start to finish went very smoothly. I was very impressed when Jim provided me with the estimate. Unlike other roofing contractors, he took the time to explain the entire process. He took photos of my roof .which really helped me to understand why previous roof aged prematurely. He also pointed out how he would improve the ventilation, as well as install the ridge vent the way it is supposed to be installed. Jim was professional, and so much more knowledgeable, then the other 3 roofing contractors I had dealt with. Jim also took the time to assist me, with selecting the perfect color shingle. Unlike other roofers, he actually had the samples of the shingles in his truck. I never liked my ugly plain black roof, so selected the color Heather Blend. It's made a huge difference in the appearance of my home. The roofing supplies were delivered to my home, the night before the installation. The workers arrived the following morning, and began the tear off process. They laid tarps around my entire yard, and all the debris went on to the tarps. The crew was professional, and worked hard and steady the entire day. They installed the new roof, and cleaned up and hauled off all the debris. The yard was clean of debris, and my new roof looks amazing!!! I highly recommend this company!!

Jim accelerated the work schedule to get the work completed before anticipated heavy rain to prevent further damage to the interior. He was professional in all communications and was customer centered. Pictures of the completed work were sent for my review before paying the bill as we could not be on site when the work as finished. I would recommend Jim's company to anyone.

They replaced the roof that had been installed incorrectly by a previous contractor (Roof Doctor of the Carolinas), and they supported me in my court case against that contractor. Because of the excellent testimony provided by Jim Hoctor, I won my case.

Jim was very punctual and thorough in reviewing possible causes. After examining our attic and crawl spaces and walking on our roof he took multiple pictures to show us exactly what had occurred. He thoroughly explained everything as well as answered all our questions. As it turned out, we didn't need him to correct anything. However, because of his helpful manner, knowledge and experience, we will not hesitate to use him in the future.

Robert was extremely professional and responsive. He provided a detailed estimate and lots of pictures by email since this is our vacation home and we were not present. Once the job was done, he provided pictures of the completed job. He estimated the job would be done in one day and it was. We were very pleased.

I called AllRestore Contracting for an estimate for a new roof. The call was promptly returned (which is more than I can say for other companies I called) and we made an appointment. Jim Hoctor was extremely professional in his appearance and his actions. He took numerous photos of the existing roof and showed me where the problems were and how they would be addressed. Jim took the time to explain the roofing product his company uses and left samples. His estimate was very reasonable and in line with other estimates, but with a better product. We scheduled a time for the project. The crew was on time and finished the work in two days. They kept the mess to a minimum and took great care not to damage any of the landscaping. The crew cleaned up everything when they were finished -- you wouldn't have known any work was done - except for the appearance of our beautiful new roof! Jim was called out of town on a family emergency during the project, but kept in touch and contacted us for an appointment as soon as he returned. He made sure everything was done to our satisfaction - which it definitely was. My husband and I are extremely pleased with Jim, his company, and the work performed.
