I cannot say enough good things about AllRestore. After 3 estimates their price was the lowest (the price included all of the same materials the other two companies proposed). Jim Hoctor’s presentation on the products, process, and warranty was outstanding and reassuring. Our roof was replaced timely and looks beautiful. AllRestore also installed new oversized gutters at a price lower than other estimates we obtained. Very happy!!

Jim arrived on time to provide estimate. Provided a fair price. Explained the process. Answered all our questions. The crew arrived when they were expected. Completed the roof replacement in less time than expected. They cleaned entire area at the end of the first day as well as the last day. The crew were polite and professional. Jim Hoctor returned several days after the roof was replaced to personally inspect the work. Our experience with Allrestore was great. We wish all contractors operated like they do! Thank you.

There was a mistake done by the windows manufacturing Co, not Allrestore. When the error was corrected, Allrestore promptly installed the new windows.

First they videoed our roof. Showed where problems existed and explained how the would enhance or rain run off. When the began work they made sure our shrubs and decks were protected. The crew worked hard and efficient. My entire roof was striped and prepared for the new shingles in one day. They cleaned up at the end of each day and remove trash each day with a portable trash trailer.

The project went very smoothly, from the initial consult with Jim H to the completion of the work. Jim provided us with all the information we needed about every component to be used as part of the roof assembly, and he gave us expert advice as well. He maintained communications with me, promptly answering questions I had, as we were securing three proposals and I wanted to be sure we were comparing apples to apples. Jim's price was very competitive. The crew arrived early in the morning on the scheduled start date. They worked very hard, in incredible heat that week, for about 12 hours a day for three days. They maintained a pretty clean work area throughout the duration, and did a thorough cleanup at the completion. The roof was completed just before hurricane Irma glanced us, so it got a thorough leak test! It also looks great. I am thoroughly pleased with Jim and AllRestore, and I am confident that the company will be there for me should I ever need assistance with the roof.

We worked with Allrestore and Jim to replace our roofing and gutters last year on our beach house. I thought I had written a review on Angie's List when work was completed, but apparently did not ..so I am writing one now. We were very impressed with Jim when we initially met with him. He was extremely professional, thorough, and took his time describing the work that would be done. It was apparent from talking to him that good service was of utmost importance to him. The job went very well and was on schedule. Jim was excellent at follow up. We have been very happy with the work. We had no issues with our roof or gutters when Hurricane Matthew came through last year. So that brings me to today. We came down to our beach house for the holiday. We noticed some discolored stains on our ceiling and thought it might be related to the roof since that had been a recent change. We called Jim yesterday and he came out this morning to take a look. He went into the attic and determined it was a leak in our AC unit and overflow box was filled with water. He took pictures for us, described what he was seeing, and concluded it was not a roofing issue. He would not take payment for his trip or time, even though it had nothing to do with the roofing. We have since had the AC issues fixed. Jim is trustworthy and dependable, and his company does great work. Today just re-confirmed that. I would recommend him to neighbors, family, or anyone else that needs roofing or gutter work.

Jim, the owner, is a scholar and a gentleman. The roofers were highly competent, skilled in their trade, and did a great job. They arrived on the job site with all the necessary equipment, parts, and materials and finished on schedule.

All work to be done was explained in detail and the price quoted was $6000.00 LESS than Monarch Roofing. Work was performed on time with no hidden costs. VERY satisfied!

Jim gave us multiple price and warranty options. He explained everything in great detail. Jim came and met with the insurance adjuster. He also helped me tarp the roof till he could get to replacing our shingles. His crew was very professional and efficient. The clean up afterwards was excellent. I would recommend them very highly.

I can't say enough about how very happy we were with the service we received from Allrestore. I never write reviews but I am pleased to write this one. From the moment the owner, Jim Hoctor, entered our home I knew he was a true professional who knew his craft. He presented all options without any pressure. He was punctual, respectful and educational. His workers obviously get those same qualities from the owner. They did a superb job and the clean up was incredible. We have not ONE complaint and I have no reservations in recommending this company!!!

I cannot thank Jim and his crew enough for their immediate response when a repair was needed. They worked well beyond normal business hours and got the job done. Now I can put the sold sign on my house!!

Great service, quality, and professionalism.

Jim was punctual for the initial call/inspection. He explained everything clearly and took pictures of the damage to my roof. After scheduling the work, I ran into a problem getting access permission from my neighbor (I live in a townhome). After a 6 week delay, I finally was granted access permission. During this period, Jim kept in contact with me. He was patient and worked with me to try and resolve the situation with my neighbor. My roof was completed in about a day and a half. There was no damage at all to my neighbors property and everything was completely cleaned up. I would highly recommend Allrestore. Jim is personable, professional and provides quality, affordable service.

The project went extremely well from start to finish. Jim Hoctor was excellent. He was professional and courteous. He explained the job in detail and completed it as described. He went well beyond expectations. He was interested in me as well as just doing a job for me. The same day I contacted him, he was on my roof surveying the situation and taking pictures. I was out-of-town, and he sent me extremely good pictures and details explaining what he saw and what needed to be done. His crew was excellent as well. They arrived early each day and stayed late. They worked continuously through the day and cleaned up every night before they left. When the job was finished, the roof looked excellent, and the property was in the same condition it was before they started. I have never worked with a better vendor, and I highly recommend Jim and his team for any work they perform.

Jim Hoctor came to our home on appointed time, actually he called and asked to come earlier and it was fine. Upon arrival my husband explained the leaks we were having on a 3 year old roof. Jim went up on the roof, took many pictures, analyzed the problems and asked for a broom. My husband tossed up a broom and Jim swept our roof to remove oak tree leaves and debris that were getting caught on the shingles and allowing water to seep under. After he did this he came down and showed us pictures of the problems. He explained how we could prevent this with twice a year roof blow offs. He also pointed out some maintenance problems that we could do to maintain the life of our roof over the years. He was very polite, knowledgable and professional. We were impressed that this man came and showed us how to help maintain our roof and not pursue a costly job to fix. Jim would not take any payment for the service call, even though he gave us valuable advise and swept our roof. We even tried to tip him, - I forced it in his hand, but he managed to leave it on the table before he left. Let me tell you - you don't find this kind of service and professionalism much these days. Especially when they don't charge you for coming over. I would definately contact this man again if we have future needs. Jim (the owner at Allrestore) is a very knowledgeable about roofing. Jim is actually a certified CertainTeed Landmark shingle installer. I thought this was import to ensure the shingles are installed correctly but also if you needed to go back to the company regarding an issue that would be key. Some of Jim's family is in the roofing business (I think his uncle) and he has also worked on the other end of roof jobs as an insurance adjuster, so I've not met anyone who knew more about the business than him. I got many estimates and many contractors will do an estimate with "Eagle Eye" or view which is a basic satellite image to determine your roof area. But Jim will actually come to your home and get on the roof and will write a very extensive report with photos of many details, etc. etc. explaining the job in great detail, what would be required to get the job done, etc. etc. and anything he sees wrong with your roof beforehand, etc. etc. He is so thorough, I almost took the report with insult (as a tire kicker lol) but he is just being thorough and detailed oriented. I think you should feel pretty confident there won't be any surprises with Jim since he takes so much time up front. Anyways, I didn't even speak to Jim when he first came out, I was just taking bids and he was not pushy. Once I looked over his bid days later and reviewed his great Angie's List ratings/reports, he clearly stood out among others and my wife and I definitely agreed we should call him back out. I called him Friday night and he was willing to meet us the very next day at 10am. He sat with us I think for atleast an hour answering our questions in detail. I was impressed with his knowledge of the business, his attention to detail, and most of all his business acumen and professionalism. Jim's bid was much in line with others, actually slightly cheaper but that is not the reason we picked him. My wife and I both felt he was the best person to do the job, the most knowledgeable and trustworthy. We live in Surfside which is notoriously a difficult area to work. Jim handled the permit at Surfside with ease. He was very flexible when to schedule the job. The job took two days. There was very very minor touch up work to do (a piece o drip molding and a few additional vent or ridge cap pieces), but Jim did not mind me withholding payment for the job and came back on that Monday with his crew like he said we would. The quality of work was excellent, the crew replaced several pieces of rotted wood (it amounted to 3 sheets of plywood in the end), they install #15 felt paper but they give you other options, they put special material in the valleys to prevent leaks, they installed a special drip edging, they do a special cut/design in the valleys that is very nice looking and functional, a nice touch (Jim can explain), Jim came out personally on the job many times, he created/molded the chimney flashing himself, etc. etc. and he is there on the job making sure it is done properly. If you have satellite dishes, antennas, etc. he was very flexible on removing and replacing them or not. All in all, Jim does the job proper, is flexible, is a good communicator, keeps his word, and was competitively priced. My wife and I live in Charlotte. I was there for the job, but in hind site I would be comfortable to let Jim do the job without me being present. He took half of the fee up front and half upon job completion which I though was fair. We even received a Thank You card from Jim a few weeks later. I'll be counting on a Christmas gift since I have written such a detailed and honest report! haha Seriously, if you don't want to worry about the job, call Jim at AllRestore.

Excellent. Called Jim Hoctor because he did a roof for a friend of mine. Use to do roofs myself and I liked what I saw with friend's roof. He gave me a date to come to house. Couldn't make it but had courtesy to call me and reschedule, which doesn't happen to often in South Carolina. Gave me a price, came put my roof on in one day and I was very well satisfied. If I would ever need another roof Jim Hoctor will get the job. Highly Recommend!.
