Replacement windows and doors are always a good idea for any home, due to the upgrade in quality from builder grade to replacement windows with LOE energy efficient glass. "My mother contracted with him, Chris Tobiaz, on 6/27/24 for a $6400 window replacement job for a trailer. 5 small windows that he said would be done in 6-8 weeks...she gave him a $3200 deposit check which was cashed in a couple days. Then got excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't come each time he scheduled. As of 9/2/24, he totally ghosted her and me. Would not answer his phone, or return texts or voicemails. We just contacted his Mezzo window supplier Alside, hoping they lean on him for our refund. If we get no satisfaction from them, we will be pursuing judgements against him, his company and vendor who he told us he already bought the windows from. We will also contact SC consumer protection and licenses and permits to have his license pulled, if he even has one. STAY AWAY!!!"
