Georgetown, SC-based interior decorator specializing in transitional residential design. “Transitional style” takes on many meanings, but in its simplest form, it means blending traditional and contemporary styles. This is a broad definition and Magnolia Belle Interiors would like to keep it that way: it leaves lots of room for interpretation and creativity, which happen to be the two most important qualities an interior decorator must possess. With each project, we are committed to creating a new style tailored specifically to our clients’ aesthetic preferences by blending decorating styles until we pinpoint the “sweet spot” for each client’s unique look. Magnolia Belle Interiors is a full-service interior decorating and consulting firm focused on designing homes that are functional, beautiful, and tailored to each individual client’s preferences and needs. Our primary goal is to create a space that you are not only proud to show off, but also one that you are excited to enjoy everyday life in. To us, this means storage solutions, easy maintenance, and thoughtful space planning to maximize the functionality and style of your home.

15 years of experience

In 1993, with a Rusty 1979 Chevy Suburban, some basic tools, and pure ambition, Scott Kapton set out to his first job site; a simple deck overlooking The Fox River in Oswego, IL. Soon after that very same job would add an additional carport, and a custom designed shed with a slide off roof to reveal a private observatory. Over the next few years with the help of a simple homemade wooden sign for advertisement, that ambition grew into a dream, and a successful business. 6 years later, another able bodied individual picked up his first tool pouch, a tape measure, and a hammer he could comfortably swing. In 1999, under the tutelage of his father, Stephen Kapton set foot alongside. And after 22 years, endless nails, screws, sweat, and hard work, Wood 'N' It Be Perfect makes its first expansion from Illinois to South Carolina, under the management of Stephen Kapton. Wood 'N' It Be Perfect strives to bring the same values, quality, and work ethic that was established more than 20 years ago in the suburbs of Chicago, here to the Grand Strand Area.

We enjoy refreshing old tired kitchens into up to date delights . Most kitchens have good interiors and structural integrity. Changing the finish (color) is sometimes all that is needed . Add a crown molding some new hardware and you get a real change. We can go farther with new doors and change overlay ( distance between the doors) And get a complete new look. all this can be done at a fraction of the cost of new cabinets. The floor plain of most kitchens can't be changed with out some major alterations to the home. That takes a lot of time and money. Most of the jobs we do take 5-7 days from start to finish. let us Flip that Flop of a kitchen into something you can enjoy for years to come . We offer life time warranty and free touch up if you have minor damage. We are a Husband and Wife team .We enjoy what we do and will love to serve you.

Childproofing services FAQs

In many cases, you can DIY home childproofing with success. You can purchase childproofing tools like cabinet locks, outlet covers, and table-edge guards and install them easily.

However, it's best to have a professional childproofing service work on larger projects like pool safety or furniture anchoring. These safety measures can take a lot of time and effort to DIY, plus, you want to ensure the tasks are done correctly to keep your child safe.

Many parents, especially first-time parents, agree that professional childproofing is worth it. These professional childproofing services are trained to recognize dangerous home situations that many people would overlook until it's too late. Furthermore, professional childproofing experts have access to top-of-the-line equipment you can't purchase at most stores, providing longevity and peace of mind.

A professional childproofer will first survey your home to identify potentially dangerous locations, including stairs, cabinets, and pools. Once approved, your professional will order and install the safety equipment for you.

Some ways a childproofing professional will make your home safe include:

  • Anchoring large furniture

  • Installing safety gates

  • Installing safety latches on cabinets and drawers

  • Covering railings that could trap a child

  • Covering electrical outlets

  • Installing a swimming pool fence

  • Removing or covering electrical cords where possible

The average cost of childproofing services is $410. This cost can range from $190 to $630 or more, depending on the size of your home and what services you need.

The location of the childproofing additions also plays a vital role in the overall cost. For example, a bathroom is relatively small and costs about $150 to fully childproof. However, if you have a swimming pool, you could spend as much as $1,500 to $10,000 to make it entirely safe for small children, including adding a pool fence.

The best time to hire a childproofing professional is at least three months before your due date. Although it might seem early, proper childproofing takes time, especially if you need extensive services like a pool fence. Getting your house ready now before your child is on the go only helps to protect them at all stages of life.
