Perfectly! Ronald Colson is a perfectionist in his profession, reliable and very honest. Ron was here for a week+ for our cabinet refacing. On one of those days, we had to leave for a doctor appointment, which could not be changed. We did not hesitate to leave the house for a total of at least 6+ hours while Ron continued with his work on the cabinets in our home. After all but 3 of the doors were installed, Ron noticed tiny scratches on the 3 doors (we could not find the scratches ourselves). He took them home, “fixed” them up, brought them back 5 days later and installed them. My cabinets are beautiful - my kitchen is beautiful and for all the work Ron did, the price was right! - my only regret is that I did not “find” Ron earlier. I would definitely recommend Ronald Colson without reservation. It was a pleasure “working” with him.

Our home is only 3 years old. The cabinets were a medium stained brown color and it made our kitchen and bathrooms too dark. We have an extremely large kitchen and kitchen island and 4 1/2 bathrooms and cabinets under our TV. It is a process to do this, and do it right, but it is worth it. The Quality of the paint finish is Incredible! The finish exceeded our expectations. It’s looks and feels like the cabinets have always been White. I am very satisfied. He is detailed oriented and he corrected some issues that had been there since the home was built. He is very knowledgeable about the cabinet construction. He does a great job.

Very well. Ron was easy to work with, clear about the process, and took extra care to prep the area to minimize any excess paint or dust from sanding/painting. He gives a lifetime warranty. He followed-up a week later to see if there were any concerns/issues. We love our "new" cabinets! We highly recommend him.

Ron, the owner, was professional, dependable and offered a number of helpful suggestions with our kitchen refresh. He was careful to keep the work area masked off and clean up as he progressed. He has also been very willing to return and touch up a few blemishes, even if they were attributable to a different tradesman.

From interviewing to the completion of the job everything went perfectly. The owners of Flip Flop are meticulous in their work and they made every effort to lessen the impact of not having access to our kitchen. The existing wooden stained cabinets and frames were used. The doors and drawer fronts were removed and taken off-site for sanding and painting and came back beautiful. The area around the kitchen was sealed off to lessen the impact of sanding of the frames. As with all renovation one needs to expect some dust -- but with the coverage we had around the kitchen, the final clean-up was not burdensome. An old kitchen table was converted into a counter-height island and I have had numerous compliments not only on it but the kitchen cabinets. Great Job.

We found Cape Fear Woodworks on Angie's List and the workmanship has been exceptional. Ron, the owner and who is doing the work, has a great sense of how something would look, makes great suggestions, and most of all has high integrity and can be trusted. Since we are not living there as yet, Ron provides the coordination we need with other contractors and keeps an eye out on the house for us. It is a huge amount of work and Ron has lived up to our expectations and more so. He had to cover an unsightly 23 foot fireplace that was made of concrete to look like stone. He finished the upper part in drywall and then the rest in gorgeous cherry wood for the fireplace and cabinetry. This was very painstaking work and Ron performed the work without any issues, but diligence and hard work. Another example of creativity, he also remodeled the kitchen exhaust fan wood cover which was really an eyesore and now it is beautiful. He also applied this same creativity to the bathroom remodeling using the old cabinets. They look brand new, and his ingenuity in how he placed the mirrors and created frames with his gorgeous woodworking is pure wonderful craftsmanship! We are extremely pleased with his totally professional beautiful work as well as with him a person. He is delight to work with and has the highest of personal and professional standards.

Ron closed in an open closet for me in my condo. He framed in the opening, cut down the door, and then installed the door and hardware including deadbolt. It now looks like the door has always been here in the condo. Very nice! Ron was very detailed in his work. He took his time and (while it was a smaller job) did a great job. He took his time to understand what I needed and made suggestions as to the type of door etc. He even called me back to ask about the type of finish that I wanted on the hardware. He took his time to do the job the right way. I was switching rental companies while he was doing his work. It caused him to be locked out when he attempted to finish his work the next day. Ron took it all in stride and worked with us on it. I really appreciated that. I'd recommend him for top notch, professional work. He won't disappoint. Ken
