James Carwell has done many plumbing jobs for me in the past couple of months. I bought a new home and he has helped to make it brand new! He has installed sinks and faucets in kitchen in baths. He also had to reroute a pipe under the kitchen sink. James is extremely professional. He is honest and hard working. His customer service is the best. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again myself!

James is wonderful. The entire experience from initial contact to the finish job went flawlessly. He arrived early and examined the problem and provided options. He takes the time to explain what he's doing and why. James spent a late afternoon after I got off work to buy and install two toilets. He lifted, hauled, installed and removed materials all by himself and made sure to wear shoe covers. ☺ It's been about two weeks and everything is working wonderfully. He's a very nice guy that takes pride in his work. I wish him continued success and highly recommend him.

Job was not performer by Freedom.

James did a good job on this install of sinks, shower and toilet; gave me great suggestions on products; was knowledgeable and agreeable to work with. He took time to find the correct size fittings needed for the shower and came back the next day to install it. He finished by cleaning up all debris and packing material and leaving me all the important information from each product. I will hire him again.

29016Today I called for James caldwell of freedom plumbing to go out on a last minute water outage at a home in blythewood sc. and he came from Lexington county and was there in about an hour or so but he was on time.He was very friendly and checked out several things and gave his recommendations and found the problem to be more extensive so he is suppose to get back with me on prices.This company came out on a Sunday and did not charge a high weekend or emergency price to travel to Blythewood SC from way over in Lexington and he stayed until he narrowed it down.I thought a lot of that and plan to use him again in the future.Thanks,sir.

We contacted Freedom Plumbing to fix a leaky bathtub faucet based on their reviews here on Angie's List. We're glad we did! James was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained everything to my husband. He had to leave to get repair parts, returned promptly and fixed the valve that was causing the leak. He even checked our water pressure to make sure it wasn't too high. We were very pleased with his work and would definitely use him again for any plumbing issues. Thank you Freedom Plumbing!

We noticed an underground leak at the faucet in the front yard. We dug around the faucet line (upright) and discovered wet dirt. Checked Angie's List, found this plumber near us and called. He was on another job but promised to come by on his way home to see the leak and possibly fix it right away. It was about 6:30pm when he arrived. He went to work right away, working until it got dark. Discovered a crack in the waterline. He had turned off the water and had to leave it off overnight. Said he'd be back at 8am. He was here at 7:30am and went to work cutting out the cracked pipe. Took the pipe with him to the plumbing supply house because it was unusual. Was able to match the pipe, mend it and put in a new upright faucet. He insulated the new faucet and shovelled all of the dirt and grass back into place. Finished about noon. He charged us a flat rate (very reasonable). All in all, he worked about six hours on repairing the cracked line. We are very impressed with his professionalism and kind demeanor. Will definitely use him again and will recommend him to others. So glad we found him on Angie's List. Thanks!

James Carwell the master plumber and owner of Freedom Plumbing was very professional and prompt. When he arrived he gave us an estimate of the cost of the repairs. He ordered the necessary parts and returned the next day at the agreed upon time and completed the work. The invoice was for the agreed upon price. I would not hesitate to use Freedom Plumbing in the future and I highly recommend James to my friends when in need of a plumber.

James was outstanding, friendly and helpful. He contacted me immediately after purchasing the special and set up an appointment in a very timely manner. He was on time, very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to help us. I appreciated his thorough advice on matters and I learned a lot as he worked. He shared everything he was doing and why, and he was very patient as I asked questions along the way. Before installing the faucet, he checked the water pressure and noted that it was extremely high. He advised and corrected the issue with a pressure regulating valve. As he was preparing to leave, we noticed that the refrigerator had a pool of water under it, so he immediately took a look at it and diagnosed the problem. All the while, I knew that he had two other clients to see, and my service call had taken up much of his time, yet he still addressed the problem and made an appointment to come back and fix it for us. I appreciate James' personal and engaging nature. He cares that his customers are well taken care of. I will definitely call on him in the future and recommend him to my friends.

A noise had been plaguing me ever since I bought my house in Feb. I could hear it every time I ran the water in the kitchen sink. James listened to the noise and knew what it was right away. It was pipes rubbing together under the house. He went under the house and quickly fixed the problem for the cost of the service charge. He was prompt, listened to my problems, used foot covers to keep dirt out of the house and efficient. Thanks James!

James was great. He did a preliminary exam and explained what needed to be done. He gave a price up front for the whole project. Even though he ran into some challenges he was very persistent and took all the time needed to do a great job. He gave his cost up front and even though it took longer than expected he didn't change his price. This is his practice. He is very professional (only one of the contractors to actually cover his shoes when he entered the house). He is very polite and carefully to not inconvenience you. We will definitely call him again for any plumbing needs.
