Appliance Professional came to look at our broken washing machine. The first technician was ok and determined the issue and was going order the parts. A second technician needed to come and help the first remove the dryer off the washing machine. The 2nd technician researched the error messages by using the internet on his cell phone( i could have done that). He determined the issue was too much laundry detergent, even though the error codes on the machine and the 1st technician proved different. We were told the parts would be delivered to our house within 3-5 days and to call when they arrived to make another appointment. After 5 days, the parts did not arrive, we called back and were told they were being delivered to Appliance Professionals and they would call us when they were delivered. After another week, we received 2 packages at our home with washer parts in them. The order date on the parts were a full week after the initial service call. The repair was scheduled for this past Weds, 8am-12pm and when the service technician did not arrive, we called Appliance Professional to find out when the technician would arrive, they told us our appointment was 1pm-4pm. The receptionist at Appliance Professional is nasty and unprofessional, the manager was uncooperative, the one Service Technician was incompetent. We have been without a washing machine for 3 weeks because of this company and refuse to have them work on any appliance in our home and will wait for another appointment with a reputable company.

It did not, see comments in what did the provider do! Again, customer works with you, you need to be able to work with the customer. Seems like you would want to work with the customer to start with, since he is paying you.
Description of Work: They were scheduled between 12:00 - 5:00 pm a (a huge window) to come and diagnose and hopefully fix our Kenmore Over the Range Microwave. The service repairman called around 4:30 and said he had a client behind us and they had to leave for work at 5:30 and had already taken part of the day off to wait on the repairman. We discussed the situation and after we were informed that the other client's problem was a freezer issue, we said go see him first and call us when you are coming to see us. We told him we were going out at 5:30. He said he would call, but never did. I called Monday to see if we could get a repair visit in a timely manner since we had accommodated the repairman. But we were just offered the 12-5 time frame as the only possibility. Customer service seems a little lacking. Customer works with you, you need to be able to work with the customer.

Service went very well. A non-functioning icemaker in February is an inconvenience, not an emergency, and we so informed the service scheduler at Appliance Professional. Even so, we were scheduled for service two days later. The technician, Nate Curey, arrived a few minutes before the promised time, after having called to let us know that he could come earlier than anticipated. He checked the unit, found the problem, and left to order the part. That occurred last week. When he returned as scheduled today, he installed the replacement part, tested the icemaker operation and found it to be in working order. He also advised us on water filter cartridge replacement and explained some aspects of the icemaker's operation that we were unaware of. Nate was prompt, courteous and considerate, and he impressed us by his professional attitude and technical knowledge and skills. Our refrigerator came with an icemaker that has a history of malfunctions...one that we regret buying. However, Appliance Professional has serviced it before, and we are aware that further malfunctions are likely in our future. We'll call Appliance Professional for future service.
Description of Work: Serviced/repaired icemaker in refrigerator. This required replacing an inlet water valve, which had to be ordered. It was successfully installed today.

The provider indicated he knew how to repair the Thermador downdraft. On his first visit, he indicated that he needed to order a relatively inexpensive part to make the repair. When he returned with the part, he disconnected the arms that control the up/down movement of the periscope which caused the periscope to drop and jam and the motor to short out. Obviously, he did not know what he was doing. At this point, we employed another appliance repair service to correct their mess. The second repairman told us it should have been a minor repair to fix a periscope that was out of adjustment. However, it took him 5-6 hours to unjam the periscope, and we have had to purchase a new motor and countless damaged parts. After more than a month, we are still without a downdraft. I am disappointed that Appliance Professionals accepted a job that they were obviously incapable of doing!
Description of Work: The provider was asked to repair a Thermador downdraft that was locked in the "up" position.

I didn't like anything about the service. They just destroyed it. I paid them $200, but they did about $400 worth of damage. They were nice people, but they just didn't know what they were doing.

Appliance Professional did their best, but could not get parts. I will never buy a Thermador product again because of their poor product support.

Our Bosch microwave would not start unless we slammed the door to get it to engage. I called Appliance Professional, LLC and they set up an appointment two days later. The repairman, Kenny Curey, arrived on time, was very professional, and had the microwave working great in a short time.

Have used them several times in the past for various applicance issues, mainly washer and dryer related. Always very responsive, very courteous, and fair with pricing. Last time I used them was for a mfr warranty call and they explained everything in detail about the washer. Issue I had was not getting hot water on "hot water" settings. Did what they could, but the problem is with the new washers and all the "eco friendly" settings that don't let you get the temp you want. Feel completely confident in their service and they are first ones I would call if and when I have any other appliance issues.

this is rental property so I was worried about being on a waiting list or having to pay for over time to get someone there. They told me three days waiting list but would call me and renter if earlier date came available, which it did one day earlier than they had told me.

I initially called on Thursday, Oct. 23 to schedule service (after finding this company on Angie's List). Was told they could come out on Monday and would call me Monday morning to confirm and give me a time. No one called so I called around 10 a.m. Was told I was on the schedule and the repairman would call me 30 min in advance to let me know he was on the way. At 10:55 I got a call back from the scheduler/dispatch saying the repairman was headed to my house so I left work to meet him. An hour later he still had not shown up so I called back and the woman didn't know what was going on and said she'd call him then call me back. She did not. I had a voicemail at 12:15 from the repair guy saying he was on the way so I called the scheduler and told her. Another 45 minutes later he still had not shown up so I called and was told he had gone to another job. He called me another 30-45 min. later and said he was 2 min away as I was walking out the door (I told the scheduler to cancel because I couldn't sit there and wait when I did not know whether or not he was coming). so I told him ok. My husband and taken off work to relieve me so we both unnecessary spent time away from work. My husband said the repair guy did not seem confident in what he thought was wrong. We did not have it fix it. I called after repair guy left and asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to Tiffany who apologized and said that's not how they do business. I told her I felt we should not have been charged $65 for the service call. She said she'd talk to the owner and call me back. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CALL BACK OR FOLLOW UP FROM TIFFANY OR ANYONE AT APPLIANCE PROFESSIONAL.

Yesterday, August 4, I walked into my kitchen and saw water leaking from the freezer of my side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. After removing melting ice from the ice bin, I noticed items on the top shelf of the door were thawing, so I moved everything to another refrigerator/freezer in my garage. I called Appliance Professionals and asked to schedule an appointment and told them of my dilemma. I asked for their earliest appointment and was told by the one who makes the schedules she would call me before 4:30 p.m. to set up a time for the repairman to come to my house the next day, Tuesday, August 5 (today). She NEVER called, so at 4:55 p.m. (they close at 5:00 p.m.), I called the office and got no answer. I read all the information about my appliance from the owner's manual and reset it from the front panel. It began working again and appears to be fine this morning. Knowing this could be a fluke and it may stop again, I still wanted a repairman to check the appliance. I waited until 10:30 this morning, August 5, and they still had not called me to give me the time for my appointment today. I called the office, got the person who makes the schedules, told her I never received her call yesterday, and asked for the time of my appointment today. She stammered and could not answer my question, so I asked to speak with the owner. A man, who said he was the owner, came to the phone, and after I told him about the scheduling problem, he appeared to be talking to someone else in the office, rambling about having parts ready for my appliance, yet they had not seen my appliance to determine what parts - if any - were needed! When I asked why would they have parts for me without seeing the appliance, he said, "Oh, I see the problem. We have the wrong last name for you." I proceeded to tell him the scheduler confirmed my name, telephone number, and address the day before. Also, they had just been out to my house in January of this year, and when I first called, yesterday, the receptionist told me I was already in their computer. I told the owner I would get someone else and after hanging up the phone with him, I immediately called another service center. They gave me an appointment for tomorrow (August 6).

The dates listed and costs are aproximates, as i can't find the receipt from their work. I know they charged a service call fee and a fee for labor when they did fix it. I called and told the person on the phone exactly what had happened, the heating element went bad in my oven. I gave her the make and model of my oven and told her don't send anyone to my house without a replacement as I KNOW that is the problem. They gave me a 3 hour time frame for a tech to come out. He gets here and of course doesn't have the part. He was very polite but unprepared to fix my problem. They called later that day to give me another 3 hour time frame for the next morning but promised they would be here early in the morning, which they were. The tech came in and replaced the element quickly and the oven is working fine now.

These guys came out to do some warranty work on my refrigerator. A different company had been out twice over the last year over the issue and each time they "fixed" the problem only to have it occur again. Within minutes of arriving they identified what needed to be done and got right to it. For the first time I feel confident about the fix. If I need an appliance repaired again they will get the call.

My refrigerator stopped cooling. Once the problem was initially diagnosed the technician implemented a temporary fix that got the refrigerator working properly until the new sensor could be installed.

I called for service because the dryer tub stopped turning even though the timer indicated the dryer was still operating. The technician removed the front cover and checked for a broken belt. The belt was in place and intact, The technician determined that an item of clothing had been into the exhaust and jammed the dryer fan With a jammed fan the dryer tub would not turn. The item of clothing was removed and the dryer functioned properly. The technician was quick and thorough. The company is very responsive.

I had a BIG leak in my pump house and no water at 8:00 at night the day after Christmas. I called and Chris, the owner, answered the phone himself. He promised to work me in the next day (I did not ask him to come that night). As it happened, in the morning I was able to see where the leak was. I contacted Chris again and texted him a picture of my problem. I followed his instructions and was able to repair the leak myself. I didn't need him this trip, but will DEFINITELY call him if I have another plumbing issue that I can't fix myself, and would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber. Super nice guy, and very friendly office staff as well. Very timely response to questions I asked. Thanks again, Chris, you rock!
