IF you let bad reviews go through, man came out and said FRIGIDARE dishwasher had bad drain pump, for $416 they could fix it??? the pump salls for $50 to $89, i ordered one for $53 from appl parts, they charge you a criminal amount and collect the $109 for 10 min work, i have talked to 3 other Appli repairman and they said they ripped me off, they made sure that it was $109 to come out, do not use these people under no circumstance as they are NOT honest

3 months later, no change after it was “fixed” and I was told it would take 2-3 months for the seal to really take hold. My gut told me at the time that he is not telling the truth and that changing the seal would fix it. I knew the problem was more. Now, They refuse to come back to fix the problem, even though I patiently waited per their request. So, the lady I spoke with said unless I pay the HSA fee and then HSA “hires” them to complete the same job again, there is nothing they can do. I was told they would come back by the “professional” if it did not improve - that was a lie. I’m out hundreds of dollars already thanks to them, and they still refuse to do their part and actually fix the problem they were supposed to have fixed.

Was contacted by Appliance professionals reference my work order request to fix my clothes dryer. My comment is to their responsiveness is only due to the fact that they are very busy and it took a week plus to get me on the schedule. Maurice arrived early and I did receive a call notifying me that he would be at my house shortly. I apologize for arriving early but I told him there was absolutely no problem I appreciated it. he got right to work and diagnose the problem and corrected it immediately. I was very happy with the work I was very happy with his professionalism and his politeness and demeanor while at my house. I would highly recommend them and be happy to have them repair appliances for me in the future should I need it.

Richard arrived on time and also called prior to the scheduled appointment time. He was professional,courteous,respectful and took the time to explain things when we had questions.

I would not suggest using this company as they are absolutely horrible when it comes to customer service, especially communication. They do not respond back to emails, text message, phone calls & voice mails. They lead you on as if they can help you and then just completely ignore you all while your appliances are still broken. As a paying customer I deserve at least a response back with feedback concerning my broken appliance. Andrew their lead tech is a nice guy however do not expect him to help you out when your in a bind and your simply expecting him to communicate. I wish he would have been upfront and honest instead of giving me a runaround for 3+ weeks about not being able to correctly fix my appliance!

Very prompt in responding to problem. Person scheduling and person repairing were very professional and personable. The only problem that I saw that saved all categories from being A rating was that their supplier seemed to always be out of the parts necessary to make the repair resulting in 10 days to get part in and then additional days to get work scheduled. Even though I probably could have purchased a new washer from the get-go, since my machine was only 2 years old, I decided to try to repair the unit. Each time Nick gave me the opportunity to replace so I did not feel any pressure to make my decision one way or the other. I would hire this company again.

On Appliance Professional was fine it just took 6 weeks to fix fridge as parts were not available from factory

Although it was not a major repair, the men were very polite, punctual, friendly and kept me in stiches laughing as they worked. They made sure everything was working properly before they left. I saw the younger one eyeing an apple pie I had on the counter, so I gave it to him. He was elated. Great people!

Our 1 1/2 year old dishwasher had an error message: watertap. I called Bosch for an explanation. They had none. But they recommended three providers. We chose Appliance Professionals for their quick response and availability. The service professional, Tony, was here when he said he would be. He was aware of the error message and quickly solved it. After testing the dishwasher, he left when he was satisfied that the 'problem' was solved.

Our GE Profile refrigerator, purchased in February 2015, was fluctuating in internal temperatures from 30 to 60 degrees. We discovered it because of repeated sweating issues with bottles in the unit. Lowe's sent Appliance Professionals of Charleston to evaluate the problem on two different occasions. Both times the technician, John, did nothing to run a computer systems test on the refrigerator via the USB port located on the top of the refrigerator. At the time we did not know there was a port there to use to diagnose the unit. When we pointed out that the thermometer we put in the refrigeratorr was reading wide temperature swings up to 60 degrees, he said that type thermometer was not reliable. So I bought 2 more to prove that the refrigerator had a problem and showed John pictures about 10 taken of the temperature swings ranging from 30 to 60 degrees on his second visit. He did nothing to check out the refrigerator and maintained his position that nothing that could be done and that there was no real problem to be addressed. He maintained his position that the likely cause of the problem was the location GE built in thermometer in the center top of the refrigerator and that eventually GE would come out with a fix to move it to the side top of the unit. So the moral of this story: If you have a problem with your refrigerator DO NOT use Appliance Professionals of Charleston. BTW their office person told me John was there most knowledgeable refrigeration person. You cannot believe how frustrating it was to present a problem to a "knowledgeable" technician and listening to them adamantly refusing it acknowledge a problem. And if you buy a refrigerator from Lowe's, never call there 800 service to get it repaired. Call the refrigerator manufacturer. We called GE. They sent there GE Factory Services Technician and diagnosed the issue via USB port on refrigerator and replaced the fan. GE had come out with a new fan with a larger motor. He said if the problem persists then call and they will come back and look replacing additional parts.

Technician Jeremy Davis came at the appointed time and found the problem right away. A hose had become displaced (or undone?) and he corrected that. Since the dw was holding water, Mr. Davis ran a short cycle to be sure it was operating effectively before he left. While the short cycle ran, Mr. Davis offered some helpful info about the appliances (which came with the condo I bought recently). He answered my questions and was patient with my lack of mechanical knowledge, without patronizing. I hope my Home Warranty company will call Appliance Professional to take care of any future appliance problems. Reviews on Angie's List are a tremendous help to me, so I wanted to share my positive experience with this service provider with other members.
