Description of Work: My washer and dryer had been in storage for a year. The dryer needed to have the electrical plug changed out so that it would fit into the electrical outlet in my new home. The Bosch washer had been giving me fits with excessive rocking during the spin cycle before it was put in storage. So I wanted someone with experience to check it out. |When I called, the dispatcher was very helpful in setting up the appointment. The workman who came called ahead, took time to put booties on before entering the home. He replaced the old electrical plug on the dryer and made certain that the dryer worked properly. He took extra time to set up the washer on the shock pads, used a level to make certain that unit was level and waited with me to run a 25-minute wash cycle to see if the unit wobbled. Everything checked out OK and both units have been working properly since.

+ -1 moreWonderful, except for the arguments about the repairs with the home warranty company. Trey and Joe were great! Would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Fridge repair. Technicians dispatched as a home warranty service provider. Diagnosed both problems and made contact with warranty company. Problems ensued when the warranty company refused to acknowledge their contractual responsibility for specific repairs. Technicians were professional, responsive and respectful of our home. Had to order parts which took a while due to the age of the fridge but quickly responded when all parts were received. Completed repairs which took longer than the tech had been scheduled for but he stayed on task and made certain we were completely satisfied before he departed.

+ -1 moreThe clothes dryer was running very hot to the point that it was untouchable in the back and the inside of the drum and top of machine were very hot to the touch within 30 seconds of turning the dryer on. I called Appliance Professional after reading the reviews on Angie's List. Joe answered the phone and I explained the problem. He asked several questions about the problem and then gave me an appointment that was convenient to me. Joe arrived within the stated time frame and went right to work. He disassembled the dryer and checked everything, thermostat, coils, outside vent for air flow. Everything was as it should be. He reassembled the dryer to see if he could duplicate the problem and of course he couldn't. He assured me that if the problem occured within 30 days, he would come back and there would be no service charge.

+ -1 moreThis was a complex repair because the downdraft vent and its motor are in a difficult area to access behind the cooktop and under a cabinet.. Nathan, co-owner, had to come on second visit to diagnose the problem and make the repair. Very courteous and professional. Appliance Professionals made 3 visits but only charged for one service call and even refunded the cost of a motor that was ultimately not needed to complete the repair. Extremely satisfied with Appliance Professionals!

Description of Work: Repaired our dryer. The knobs were splitting to turn on the unit. I thought they were only going to give us some new knobs, but he went ahead and did that, replaced the connector, and gave us a new dryer exhaust hose.
