Description of Work: We picked out the shingles at their office and the roof was installed the next day. Everything was neat and clean when they finished. No old shingles or nail on the ground around the house. We were very pleased with the job.

Description of Work: I called Williams Roofing because I had several leaks in my less than 10 year old roof. My first call was routed to a voice mail where I explained my situation and requested a callback. Two days later after hearing nothing I called and talked to a live person. Again I described my situation and requested a callback. Finally, three days later - a total of 6 days after my first call - I received a call from Mike. Mike came out the next day, did an inspection of the roof, told me what he would do to fix the leaks, and gave me what I considered was a reasonable estimate. He came back the next day and did the repairs. He made a follow-up visit the next day to complete some minor work, showed me what he had done, and explained why the roof was leaking. All in all, after I finally got someone to talk to me a very good experience. However, customer responsiveness could be improved and that is the reason for a "B" instead of an "A".

Description of Work: We would highly recommend this company, we had a metal roof put on our home. We did have to wait an extra week - not a big deal - since they were already doing a large job. But they showed up on Saturday (we thought to drop off the equipment and material to start on Monday) and started work right away. They did approx. 2/3 of the roof on Saturday and came back on Sunday and finished it. The guys were very polite and professional. We would definitely use them for any future projects.

Description of Work: Relaced Roof and Installed Front door in April & May of 2012.At the start of the project it seemed fine.We lived out of town & trusted Mr. Williams to keep on to of the work as he had promised.When we arrived to look things over we discovered that a large section of the roof was a different color shingle.From there it became difficult to get anything done,finally after much discussion that section was repaired n(not in the way we wanted it repaired but we were done with Williams roofing and wanted to put a distasteful experience behind us.We will NEVER use them again.

Description of Work: Remove and dispose of old shingles, replace 47 sq. w/ 30 year shingles, re-felt roof, replace pipe boots, re-flash and seal chimney, replace 120 ft ridge vent. Roofers were on time, work very hard and completed the task within 2 days as promised. Very pleasant workers. Cleaned-up after their work. I'd recommend William's Roofing to any other home owner who desires quality work at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: I called Williams Roofing to see about getting someone out to see if we had any roof damage after trees damaged from the ice storm had been removed. My husband thought he saw some dimpling in the shingles and was concerned. A couple of days later, Robert called, said he was in the area (we live way out near Waynesboro) and asked if it would be ok to come by to check the roof. He came by and took a look at the roof, pronounced everything in good shape and was on his way very professional, very friendly. Will definitely call again for our roofing needs.

+ -1 moreExcellent work. I called for an estimate on Monday, and had the written estimate by Wednesday of the same week. Waited for another company to give me their estimate, and Williams Roofing was over $1200 lower. After verifying some details within the estimate, gave them the go-ahead. The day after the new shingles were delivered, they started work and finished the next day, working until dark the first day. The work looks very nice, and I can't see any flaws or mistakes. Cleanup was excellent. They even rolled a magnet on wheels over my driveway to check for and pickup any nails that may have been left on my driveway. I thought that was a nice touch. The company is very responsive to phone calls, and I never had to speak to voicemail. An excellent experience overall.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed old shingles. Replaced 29 squares with 35 year shingles. Re-felt roof. Replace 2 pipe boots. Re-flash & seal chimney. Replace flashing. Replace ridgevents.

+ -1 moreThey came out to do the work. They finished up and there was paint all over the house and back porch. I asked them to come back out and remove the paint from the house and now it looks even worse! There is white paint smeared all over the bricks and the back steps of my house. Then I called Mark or Mr. Williams, who is the manager and complained about the way the paint looked. I asked them to come out to see what his workers did to our house. On the evening of the 4/28 I received a call from a lady with the company and she said that Mr. Williams was out of town, that he would be back Monday and asked me if I was dissatisfied with the work. I told her that I was very unhappy with what was done to my house and I have not seen anyone since. This was Monday a week ago and still nothing. On the under hang they did not match it up to what was previously there and there were gaps in between. They had to fill it in with puddy. I have never seen anything like this before. We have not yet received a bill and we would certainly be willing to pay if they were to correct these issues.
Description of Work: They were hired to repair the roof over the carport on the bay of the house.

+ -1 moreHe was pleasant and professional. I was not here when he came out, but he came out pretty quickly. The roof is fairly new and it had a small leak. He told me that the roof floated at a lower angle. He also told me that the shingles had been put wrongly and that it would need to be redone.

+ -1 moreI called for an estimate to install a new roof and shingle molding. The estimator was prompt, courteous and told me exactly how the work would be completed. Even though my roof was over 20 years old, he suggested that I contact my insurance company as I had some hail damage. He also suggested that i may want to wrap my eaves instead of replacing the shingle molding. I was given a written estimate for my requested work before he left. After contacting my insurance company, I asked them to give me a new estimate based on our previous conversation of wrapping my eaves. Again they were prompt, courteous and gave me my estimate before he left. I then contracted them to do all the work estimated. Because of family visiting, I requested a delay of approximately one week beyond what they were estimating for a starting time. My only complaint was lack of communication with me so that I knew exactly when they would start and complete. The roofing crews arrived on a Monday mid morning and were finished by Tuesday afternoon late. The work was professional, scrap was cleaned up and the roof looks great. It then took two days for the aluminum/vinyl crew to arrive. The work took 4 days which was a day longer than estimated. Two men did the whole job and consulted with me often making sure that it was done to my specifications. I paid for the roofing when it was complete and for the wrapping after it was complete. I highly recommend Williams roofing for your roof.
