They came punctually on the agreed upon day. Each window was neatly, methodically removed and the new windows were installed. All were well placed and sealed. A neat job was done, inside and outside. All debris was removed from the site by Window World. The heating/cooling bills for the units are much improved since the windows were installed. The windows operate smoothly and efficiently. They are much more secure than the previous windows. The appearance of the dwelling is also improved with these windows. A window on the side porch somehow was missed for outside caulking. Window World did return and take care of this. It did take two calls, but they did a great job taking care of the issue. (This is the only reason I gave a 'B' for responsiveness in the ratings.)

The installers were prompt, tidy & professional. The windows work really well. They did a great job wrapping the existing frames on the outside. It was a great experience.

The job was estimated in April and a deposit was also put down in April. The job was finally started towards the end of June. It was not done by employees of the company but by contractors that were hired by them After an initial falling out with the contractors because they were not given specific instructions, things moved forward but at a very slow pace. The contractors were very accommodating. However the amount of left over materials and charges for a dumpster that never came was ridiculous. Dumpster fee is $250 and our job was quoted for 49.75 squares of siding but there was almost half of that amount left. We complained to them about that as well as the BBB and got absolutely no response back. We thought that we were dealing with a reputable company that cared about their clients and we wanted to support a local business. The product is fine and we are happy with the overall job the contractors did but will not refer anyone to this company nor will we do business with them again.

They guarantee their work. If something happens to the windows, they will come out and replace it with no problems. All windows are handmade to fit around the house. It took about 3-4 days to complete the work. I am satisfied with the windows and it even cut down the electricity bill.

Long delay in responding to us initially after windows were ordered. They said they had copied our phone number down wrong. Beyond that, it went very well and we are completely satisfied with the work and product. Manda even called as a follow up when work date was set, after the window was ordered, and about a month after installation to see if we were satisfied. Her and her husband seem like very hard working honest business owners who I would use again. I also like the fact they use American made products (as is stated in their TV ads). As a matter of fact, I will be using them to replace old windows in my rental properties in the near future.

Overall very professional. Owners showed up multiple times which is reassuring, could always get someone on the phone to discuss though not always got a clear answer on window delivery. First got windows ordered and brought within time frame promised (about 3 weeks). Found out one didn't fit and I do believe it wasn't their fault, just some peculiarity with the old windows. The owner promised quick reorder at no cost to us. They did cause small damages/paint peel around windows just from the speed they went thru the job of taking the old windows out and offered to fix some of the damages but I'm the type who doesn't like unnecessary fixes if they could have been prevented in the first place (meaning being a bit more cautious though I know no hired person is like that). The slight dissatisfaction was the delay for them to come back, I think 5-6 weeks when I was initially told they could be back within 2 weeks and I had to call multiple times to check on status.. But they are done now and so far so good. I would give them a perfect rating if they fix those 2 concerns.

They were very professional and did a great job. They had to come back to replace several trims and they came back in a timely fashion.

It wasn't so good. They promised to come out one day and they never did. They had to cancel it the night before after I had already taken off work. Their first technician came out and looked at the job and said he didn't know who quoted it but they couldn't do it so he left. It wasn't a very good experience. They gave us a quote and we gave them a check and then they had all these issues with them saying they couldn't do it. It was a bunch of run around but we finally got our window.

I used them as a result of having windows install approx. four years age by them. The siding as the windows both where well done in a timely manner.

Window world did an outstanding job!! Donald showed up on time, gave me an estimate, explained the process in detail, and answered all of our questions. He was there to answer questions we had after the windows were ordered and even showed up during the install to make sure things went smoothly. The installers did a great job! Due to the age of the house, the install became very complicated but the installers handled it professionally and exceeded all of our expectations. I would definitely use them again!

Troy (salesman) was very personable and knowledgeable about the products and was a pleasure to work with. On the first visit he walked the perimeter of the house counting the windows and reviewing the rough sizes, then showed me the demo window he had with him and advised on what Window World could provide and what I could expect from upgrading to new windows. I advised I would be discussing it with my wife when she got home that night to review. 2 days later, we received a call from Troy two days later as a follow up and we committed to using Window World. Troy came back out and measured all windows the next afternoon and then advised it'd be about 4 weeks or so before the windows were finished. We received a call from Window World about 3 weeks later advising they were ready and scheduled the install for the following week. We were advised to expect 2 days of work and schedule time off as needed. The team showed up on time of the scheduled morning and got directly to work. They were prompt, efficient, and professional. They finished the install in the first day by 4pm. Once the install was complete, we walked the perimeter of the house to review the windows installation, the crew chief brought in the paperwork and I cut the check. They left soon after. The only flaw I saw in their work was the cleanup process. I worked from home that day, so my inspection of the work was not as focused as it should've been as I was "at work." I will happily use Window World again, though next time I will be sure to have the day off so I can take the time to concentrate on what the installers are doing. There was a lot of debris left over after the install, I'm still picking up pieces of the metal trim and wood from the old windows. More importantly, there were still some relatively large pieces of glass from the old windows scattered around the front porch and sidewalk up to the front door. Again, I would definitely use Window World again (hopefully not for more than 30 years, i'm tired of moving!), but this time, I would ensure I took the time to fully inspect the job.

Window World provided the best price of the three companies we contacted. The Window World representative, Troy Crank, arrived promptly at the appointed time to survey the house and prepare the estimate. He helped us decide how best to deal with a rotted bow window, replacement of which would have been VERY expensive. The solution was to replace it with a picture window which is less expensive but looks great. We placed our order and the windows arrived ahead of schedule. The installation team was prompt, professional and extremely efficient. All windows were installed in one day and the final exterior trim completed the next day. All the windows look great in the house. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Window World of the Lowcountry to anyone considering window replacement. I would use their services again without hesitation.

The office personel was very professional from the beginning-I was shown pictures of the various selections as well as the price.. and the date to expect the work to be done...it was near the end of the year and a large volume of orders was scheduled for the company (there was a tax savings for home owners)...they worked with me so that I would qualify.When the workers arrived, they were very friendly ,yet efficient.The work was completed that day,my wife and I were very happy.

The World of Windows staff came out and made all the measurements. We paid our deposit for this special order and were told that it would take a couple of months to get the ordered windows delivered. After that we received a letter from the parent company saying that the World of Windows Lowcountry was facing closure due to local mismanagement. But, it turned out fine for us. When they wanted to reschedule our appointment for installation, I told them that we had taken off work to be here when they came to install the windows. So, they had an installation team drive down from their Greenville store to do the work as scheduled. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up completely afterwards. The windows are great and we are very pleased with them. We plan to have the windows in the back of the house replaced in the Spring and intend on using this same company if they are still available.

scheduling was a little messed up. Overall a good job. I would use them again.

My wife and I were very pleased with it. The workers were very professional, very courteous and considerate. We are pleased with the appearance. They have a showroom. We would recommend them. When my wife spoke to them during the installation about any questions, they spoke to her in a kind way. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time; it wasn't drawn out and they worked consistently when they were here.

It went very well. They were fast and cleaned up after themselves. There was one problem with a window a year after and they came right out and took care of it. We had a very good experience with this company and we would use them again.

We were very satisfied with them. They took a lot of time to make things perfect. The windows have held up well and we are happy with them. They also made sure the codes were met for the windows.

We had a horrible experience. We now have to replace all of the windows again. All of the seals have busted on the top and the bottom. They messed up our house as well. They busted plants and ruined a chair. They weren't very presentable at all.

Installers arrived on-time and replaced all windows in about six hours. Workers were friendly and courteous at all times. They completed the task in a professional manner and cleaned up the work site. Old windows and material were removed after completion. The entire process went smoothly without any hang-ups or problems. Excellent Job!
