The pre-sales was very thorough. Discussed products and optional upgrades. Talked about potential benefits of upgrades, was not pushy. Was flexible to my requests. Scheduling was a little more difficult, but after all the storms in Oct, I understood. Workers were on time. They kept a clean jobsite as well. There was some communication issues with the crew (language barrier). I am very happy with the results. While they were not the cheapest, I felt they provided an excellent overview of the products, whereas no other bidders talked about that.

I chose Tri County Roofing to install our gutters a couple months after a huge rainstorm and flood that caused roofing and gutter companies to be overwhelmed with work. The gutters and downspouts are of good quality, are solidly installed, and function properly. There were some communication problems with the company. The first was regarding timing - I was told originally that the gutters would be installed within a week or week and a half after I signed the estimate - I remember this because all other companies were saying 6 to 8 weeks - unfortunately for me I have no documentation to back this up. Anyway, I mailed the estmate on Dec. 8, 2015 and the gutters were installed six weeks later, on Jan. 14, 2016. The second issue involved the placement of one of the downspouts. Everything looked good except one of the downspouts was pointed toward the foundation of the house rather than the sidewalk as I had requested. I texted Shannon that same day (Jan 14), sent him a picture and he said he would take care of it. I heard nothing further from him, but did get an invoice on Jan. 28 and a call from Brian, the company's collection agent, on Feb. 2. I explained the situation to him and he said he would look into it. I called the office on Feb. 16, explained the situation, was told she would contact Shannon and call me back. An hour later Brian called, I told him nothing had been done, so he came to our house, turned the downspout to the right direction, I gave him the check, and he sent someone out to add an extension shortly thereafter. I am happy with the work they did and the quality of the product, not so happy with the long wait, but I thought they were good people doing the best they could during a very busy time. I wish they could have done a better job communicating with me.

They did a great job but did have to return a second time. However after the severe storm last year, Shannon came out again and gave us several estimates to do new repairs and replace 3 more chimney caps. Left multiple messages both with Shannon and the office and left several emails without any response, now looking at other companies. Second time needing service was a terrible experience. Joe

Sales person Travis was prompt and knowledgeable. Available to answer questions after initial visit. Schedule had to allow for some weather flexibility. Started within date range. Delivery truck ran over one plant, company offered to replace it. All other workers polite, thoughtful of property. Finished on time. Clean up was thorough. Inspectors followed up on job. Have since recommended to friends.

Contractor came out promptly and replaced sky light just exactly as requested. Reasonable price

They finished just before big storm hit. Roof looks great. Could have cleaned up better, we found many nails, but it was raining very hard at finish.

I purchased an Angie's list big deal and the roofer never would call me. Responsiveness was not good. I called them twice and the lady said she'd have someone call. After a week no one ever called. This was a roof leak problem and I could not wait longer than a week. Finally, I received a refund through pay pal and Angie's list.

Good. Had a leak after the work but they came back right away and took care of it.

Ti-County came out quickly to do the inspection. Found nothing wrong, so did not charge me. Was pleasantly surprised.

It did not. They won't come to Surfside Beach

They were great. They answered the phone, made the appt, and showed up for it promptly. After the problem was assessed, the roofers were sent out a couple of days later. They were polite and did a great job. No problems since. They made it very easy.

Work performed was excellent and the shingles were installed by a skilled, efficient and professional team.

JJ is my main contact at Tri County. Tri County does all work on my residence as well as investment properties. Theyare punctual, reliable and prices are good. I trust the work and have not called anyone else since i started using them back in 2011.

Estimate for job was second highest out of 22 proposals received. Contracted with another provider at a better price.

They were on time friendly and professional. They did a good job.

Can't get them to return calls to schedule an appointment for an assessment estimate...wouldn't take a chance that they are this unresponsive once the work starts.

We were happy with the services provided by Tri-County Roofing. It was difficult to get the quote and get something scheduled, so they company could use some improvements in that area.

I contacted Tri County Roofing to do some repair work on my house. After my initial call, I was assigned a representative named Matt and was told I would hear from him within 48 hours. I called and left a message for Matt twice since he did not call back after 48 hours and was told that Matt would contact me. I called the office and asked if someone could call me about my estimate. Matt called back shortly thereafter and we set up a time and date to visit my house. He did show up on time and looked over the job and told me he would get back shortly. I told him I was going on vacation in a week and wanted to get this estimate before I left - several days passed and no response. On 6/12 I texted him to request a date when the estimate would be ready. Said he had been busy and would try to get estimate today. On 6/16 I texted him to see if he was interested in my business. He said he was trying to work out the details like if he had the people who could do the work ( I have a metal roof). I went on vacation and allowed three days and called to office to ask to speak to a manager. Was told manager wasn't available but would call me as soon as they were available. Told the person on the phone the situation and that I was going to write up this and post on Angie's List since that's how I got their name. Matt called later that day with what he said was a plan and to let him know if I was still interested in an estimate. The manager never called. I tried to be as accurate as I could on this - I would never use or recommend this company to do any work.

We have a fairly complex conventional roof and a small flat roof/patio that had developed some leaks. We contacted several roofing companies to either repair or replace the roof. JJ Outen arrived on schedule prepared an estimate for replacement. He detailed all of the problem areas and presented each stage of the installation. We decide on the replacement roof with Tri County Roofing as the installer. They began the installation about 2-3 weeks after we signed the contract. Jose and his crew were absolutely wonderful. They arrived early each and worked the entire day. They protected our property and cleaned up each day. The entire installation for the conventional roof took 4 days. I have to say that this is the first time that we had a roof replacement where I wasn't finding nails months later. It has been almost 6 months since it was completed and I have yet to find a nail. GAF came out and inspected the roof and all looked good. The flat roof/patio was a different matter. While the conventional roof was completed the week before Thanksgiving, the flat roof wasn't completed until February. Toward the end of December, Micah showed up (without notice) to pressure wash and clean the roof. Once he completed that he said that he would be back the next week to resurface it. Well, next week turned into over a month and once again he just showed up. He completed the work and it appears to have solved the leak but he was anything but professional. This roof was only a small portion of the entire job so I didn't let it affect the overall rating. However, if you have a flat roof that needs work, I would suggest that you contact someone else.

Do your self a favor and use this roofing company! We would have saved lots of time and money if we had found Tri-County Roofing first. Travis came on time and gave a very professional presentation. He is friendly but did not get off the subject or try to be our best buddy like some of the other roofers that we dealt with. Everything that Travis told us and explained happened! We especially like the fact that they are certified through GAF and give a warranty. Inspections were made after the roof was completed. Shawn was our contact once the job was started through the completion process. He also was professional and responsive to our questions and concerns. Look no more call Tri-County! This review is long over due as the work was done about 8 months ago. No problems at all since we are happy with our new roof.

They did a really good job. They were excellent. They put quality shingles, and there is a 25 year warranty on the labor, and a 50 year warranty on the shingles. It is a real quality job, it looks nice, they did a professional job. They cleaned the yard, and they had one person constantly picking all the nails and the debris. The foreman would call me everyday to keep me updated on the progress. and all that.They put covers all over my air conditioning unit, and they used these special ladders so they wouldn't damage our gutters. I was impressed because it is difficult to find good contractors these days. If the shingles go bad, they will replace them, and if the roof leaks or if we noticed that the nails were popping out they would come and fix it. Their professionalism and quality of work stood out.They were the most reasonable ones that came out, there was another one who wanted $17000. It is a really good quality, if you look at my house, and you compare it to the other houses, it just stands out, because they used these quality shingles from a company called GAF and they are gold grade. They came out when they said would, and they finished the job when they said would. They have a foreman that comes out and speaks to you, he checks on the job all day, and he keeps you informed if they find anything, like when they found damaged plywood. They have been around for 60 years or something like that.

Outstanding job. All the details are in my ratings. I've recommend JJ to folks prior to them even during this job for me from the advice of a friend. After the roofing work was completed I needed additional work done on a conversion I was during to my house. He said when he gets requests for work other than roofing he recommends the guy he uses. Jason Pohlman, of Residential Vitality. I tried them and was equally pleased. An awesome team. They also get an A+rating for outstanding work.

The work was excellent. There was a lot to do and the roof has odd angles. This was a complete tear off, and the oldest part of the roof had multiple layers. All of the work was done with great attention to detail. Clean up was meticulously done. Every employee was very professional and respectful of the property. I would certainly recommend this company again. I was impressed that Manny Martell came every day to supervise the work and make sure that everything was done. Excellent company, excellent work. Tri County Roofing gave me the most details and samples of the materials they were going to use and the most detailed estimate. They also did everything they said they would and more.

The crew sent was excellent - efficient, professional, courteous. Such a great clean-up job! The estimate given by Micah was right on. Will definitely recommend Tri-County to others and will use for any future needs. Was a pleasure working with Tr-County Roofing.

Overall the scheduling, actual performance, and time for payment went really well. Additional Merits: Swept leaves from crook of chimney to prevent build up/leak. Identified a gap in the roof/siding and caulked free of charge. Demerits: Installed one skylight without notifying me beforehand leading to popcorn ceiling all over my couch and floor. Workers kept dropping a bunch of shingle nails, inside and outside. Not good for anyone who enjoys "the barefoot lifestyle".
