"We hired Pink to install two new tankless water heaters. From the beginning, we had issues. Lewis came out and said it was our mixing valve but did something and said it was working. It wasn’t. Several visits later it still wasn’t working Their solution was to keep the upstairs super hot when people wanted to shower downstairs and turn it down when we used the upstairs shower. So that’s what we did to get by. A few months later the downstairs unit stopped working. The motherboard had to be replaced. We asked why a new unit would have a motherboard fail and they told us it just happens. We continued to have issues with the upstairs unit and eventually the downstairs unit had problems again. Finally, after two additional visits, a new plumber from Pink got on the phone with Navien, discovered the unit was never changed from factory settings and was running as a commercial unit which is why the motherboard went and which was causing it to run constantly (burning gas) The plumber also told me it had never been installed properly and was missing a part but was now working correctly. At the same time, he looked at the upstairs unit and said he did something to fix it. The next morning I had no hot water. He came and fixed that (apparently he had switched it off). Shortly thereafter, an alarm went off for the unit. The same plumber came by and reset it while out for the evening. When the next person took a shower, the alarm went off again. At this point I was furious and demanded someone from their company fix this very expensive and brand new unit once and for all. They would not come out again so fortunately, I had to call another company. They said that unit (a Rinnai) also was incorrectly installed and was soon going to be doing damage to our pipes in the walls due to the manner in which they had it draining. It too was missing something which is described in the plumber’s assessment. At this point we feel Pink Plumbing (who had sometimes returned for free, sometimes charging us over 8-9 months) should be responsible for the repair work. We are asking Pink pay compensation for the emergency visit and the repair work on the second unit. We spent many months with two units working improperly costing us time and money. We contacted Jud Leggett several times and he always says he will look it over and get back to us. He never does."

"I contracted Southlantic April 22nd to install a sprinkler system in my yard. They told me because of their high volume it would be 6 weeks before they could do the work. I agreed. The day before the installation I received a email stating they were moving the installation out another 6 weeks. I called and talked to Lisa about the change. She told me she forgot to call me but unexpected issues occurred and had no choice. They moved the installation out to June 30. They didn’t show so I called and was told they couldn’t find me on the schedule even though they sent a email to confirm the the June 30th schedule. I was transferred to Lisa and she informed my that they couldn’t find help for the installations and had forgotten to call me about the issue. I canceled the work and hope to find a more reliable company. In my opinion Soutlantic is one of most unreliable company’s I have ever delt with. "Worst experience I have ever had with remodelers. They installed my pergo flooring in my kitchen and it began to come up. It was well within the warranty period. We called and left messages with the owner Sean for 3 months before one of his workers, Gregory. Gregory told me that he was going to give me a deal. I would only have to pay for the flooring but he would pay for the service to redo the floor. I did not understand how this was a good deal since I had already paid to have a job done correctly the first time. Finally Sean, the owner agreed that since they did the job poorly and my floors looked so bad that he would pay. This was after my stepdad got so angry that he told Sean he was going to file a lawsuit. We all thought that was really nice, until they came and screwed up in the linoleum floor I had decided to put in. They were getting ready to leave, after the installation. It was only after we had to stop them and show them all of the bubbles that they left in the flooring.The used a roller to try to get the bubbles out and all it did was leave creases. Reason being, they had not taken the glue off the floor where they had previously glued the tiles. The pattern on the glue was coming though the smooshed up vinyl. That is how they left it. It looks horrible. They had it written down that they would take the glue off but then they did not. I thought new floors would be a selling point. How am I going to advertise new floors when they seriously look 10 years old? Again, called the owner Sean, multiple times. We asked him if he would come over and look, no response. The only time we ever heard from him, after 3 months was when my stepdad was so mad he was ready to file a lawsuit and he told Sean that. I'm sorry but you mess up not once but twice and the second time you don't even have the decency to come out and have a look?"
