Had a new Trane system put in on 6-10-17. It was a tight fit getting my old air handler out and the new one in. Dwayne, Daniel and Richard worked hard and kept me updated. I was the afternoon appointment and they did not get through until 7:40 pm on a Saturday. The new system Is working as you would expect a Trane unit to do. I am extremely satisfied with the company and the crew that was sent, to do the install.

The gentleman spent about 2 hours here and did a thorough cleaning and inspection. He recommended annual check-ups and a dehumidifier in our unfinished basement. He was very respectful and informative.

Service technician spent over 2 hours analyzing my system and making adjustments to have it function properly until a more permanent decision on my part could be reached. His professional demeanor, product knowledge and pleasant personality made my decision much easier given the gravity of the situation. I have faith further service will go equally as well. I had not had a company give me such a detailed explanation of the current system's problems, reasons the problems occurred or made helpful recommendations to ward off future problems. Well done.

They are wonderful. They are on time, great on price and I cannot complain about anything. I would highly recommend them.

Since you keep nagging me to finish this and this is my final notice I guess I will finish. The crew came on a Saturday and all went well until just after 2:00pm when the crew leader had to leave. Then the rest of the crew got antsy to go. In their hurry they left a hose unconnected and a few minor things to be done. There are still some items (a punch list) that need to be addressed and I was going to wait until these were cleared up before I gave a review, just to be fair. The unit is operational and just the punch list remains although no firm time has been set as to when they will come back. So far no show or even a call when they say. I have had to contact them every time.

They did a routine checkup on the system. They were fair, they were friendly, they were professional. They did a good job.

They put in a heat pump. They did a good job.

The replacement went very quickly, efficiently, and was a good price.

The initial visit by the company representative reviled I had too much tonnage with my old heat-pump unit. I had a 14 yr old 4 ton Goodman package unit cooling 2,038 s.f. of space. It also reviled that I didn't have enough return airflow to my existing unit (my 20"x25" grill provides 1,000 CFMs). I needed 1,600 CFMs for a 4 ton unit. Plus, the former homeowner failed to have heat strips installed in the heat-pump unit nor did they run electrical out to the unit to have heat strips installed The company representative performed a Load Calculation on my home and determined all I needed was a 3.5 ton unit. They recommended a 15 SEER 3.5 ton Trane heat-pump replacement. After performing some research on the Trane, I determined they had it priced at a fair price. The company was a vendor at our local home show when I contacted them, so they gave me the $300 discount they were offering at the show, so it made the price of their unit even a better deal. The install team were very professional and considerate of my property. Several companies I had come out to give me quotes on a replacement unit indicated they would need to remove several of my shrubberies in order to get the new unit in. They were able to get the new unit in place without removing any of the bushes. Nice! The installation went smoothly and quickly. They did a great job cleaning up after the job was completed. However, after they left, I inspected the work more closely. I discovered the flashing wasn't installed correctly from the unit to the duct work nor did they supply enough ampage to the unit to run the heat strips. Also, they were to replace the duct work from the return grill to the unit which was overlooked. I contacted the company's office and they are sending someone out to correct the issues.

Excellent price, excellent salesman, outstanding installation service. This was a very positive experience. Price wise, I had 3 companies bid on my project. Cassell was 28% cheaper than the closest competitor, and 54% cheaper than the third bidder. And Cassell's product is Trane, one of the best HVAC manufacturers available (American Standard is the other top end line). Installation was done by competent, polite professionals. I'd highly recommend Cassell.

They're punctual, and don't try to upsell me too much on anything.

They've put in new units for us in the past and they bi-annual check ups. We would use them again in the future.

On-site workers were polite, and arrived when they said they would. Before entering into the contract, I discussed with a company owner the problem of air not getting to the Utility Room vent. He assured me that they could solve this problem. When the ductwork was installed in mid-December, minimal heat was getting through the ductwork to this vent. The owner came out, and we reviewed the problem, and I was told they would put a scope into this duct to see what was causing the problem. I said I wanted to be there so I could also see what the hindrance was. If they came to do the work, they did not notify me so I could be there. Nor did they tell me whether they had done anything in my absence. They also have not provided promised furnace filters, for which the owner had written down the dimensions (It was a small size, so they said they would bring some out to me later and leave on my porch. ) I requested the filters twice. I also requested that they not rest the heavy trunk part of their ductwork on the plastic sewer lines. They did remedy this in one spot along the sewer line, but not another. I called the office twice later to ask that they fill out their part of a one page form I had mailed them so I could receive a $300 rebate from the utility company. I had sent them the form with my information filled in. All they had to do was fill in the square ductwork footage replaced, have the technician sign it ,and return a copy of the updated bill. I will not receive my $300 rebate unless they fill in the form, since the rebate offer expires in 90 days. My calling their office several times to request this and the filters has been unheeded. From the time I made the inquiry, to the completion of the installation, I was completely impressed. Louis with the company went above and beyond to make this process as painless as possible for my family. He came to my home on a Tuesday evening to do an evaluation, he completed all the financing on Wednesday, and his awesome team had my new HVAC system and all new ductwork completely installed by 3:00 p.m. Thursday. After having been taken advantage in the past by other contractors, it is truly refreshing to know that there are still some honorable professionals out there that you can trust. This HVAC company will have all of my family's HVAC business for now on.

The forman of the crew was great - and real workhorse in getting the job done.

I give this company a grade of "A" for sales and a poor grade for project coordination. ... there were some issues with this installation which the Cassell Brothers addressed .... I might have to scrap the UV light idea. My Trane has plastic polymer components which could be degraded over time by the germicidal UV spectrum. Yikes!

Had to call another company on Monday. I bought the fan motor on Monday 6.29.2015 for $115.00 and paid another company to install, cost was $150.00, total $265.00

I was happy with their service except that now our air conditioner has a high pitched noise/vibration when it turns on. Therefore, I gave them a B for Quality of Service. It didn't sound that way before the service. I'm worried something is wrong and we are going to have trouble in the future. It seems to be working fine now. I mentioned the noise to the service professional, and he didn't take ownership of the problem, so nothing was resolved. I feel like we are stuck with a noisy air conditioner now.

Responded quickly and was able to arrange a technician the next morning.

Extraordinary Customer Service Not everything goes great in the service industry at times and its how a company handles these situations that proves they are delivering what they promise or not. Cassell Bros is a company that has proved to me that they stand behind their company reputation at all costs and puts the customer first. I put in a bad review initially because of a misunderstanding on my part where I did not understand what the diagnostics determined and to my surprise Mr. Cassell called me personally the next day and within a few short minutes had demonstrated that he and his company were not going to let me be an unsatisfied customer. Mr. Cassell sent a tech out again that same day and got my issues and questions answered and addressed. So much so, I reconsidered my position and asked them to continue with the replacement of my broken AC unit. It's a rare occurrence these days to see such dedicated and professional employees and Mr Cassell has done a fantastic job staffing his company with the type people who are honest and professional, If you are looking for a company that you can trust to put your satisfaction above profits and one that you can depend on, look no further. Their actions prove their promises.

The technicians were very professional and concerned about finding and fixing the A/C as soon as possible. Once of them stayed really late into the evening, before checking with me that is ok to come back in the morning when there was more light to see. Then the owner called and explained in detail what the problem was and how it was fixed and made me feel very comfortable with the service I had received. This was a very nice touch. I have had problems with multiple hvac companies in the past, and this is the first company I have felt completely comfortable using. I had been having my old system serviced by another company and was not happy, so I called Cassell Brothers in the fall of 2014 to come and take over the servicing. They were incredible. The technician started taking it apart to get to all the pieces in order to properly service the complete system. I had never seen any other company do so thorough a job. Cassell actually did what they were supposed to do, and in doing so, found a 12" crack in the system that was slowly leaking CO. The crack was rusted, so it had been there a while, and had not been found by the other company because they had not been servicing it properly. We had Cassell install a new system and have been pleased with their responsiveness since we started using them. I was at the gym yesterday and someone was recounting an hvac horror story and I recommended Cassell Brothers, and so did 2 other people! I figured since I was recommending them in person, I should write up a review on Angie's List.
