Description of Work: Replaced HVAC compressor and air handler. Poor quality workmanship by the install crew. Quick response and corrections when notified of the problems. After two trips, units working fine. Still need to correct method of installing the drip pan under the air handler.

Description of Work: They did determine the problem, offered a short term solution, which turned out only to work for 3 days...yeah, that is REAL short term.

Description of Work: My air conditioning went out on Saturday evening. I called Cassell Bros on Sunday Morning and they had a serviceman come out that afternoon. Michael Cole diagnosed the problem and had the system running in about 2 hours. I was very satisfied with the prompt response and the professional manner in which Michael performed the repair job.

Description of Work: The individual who gave me the quote was extremely ride to me over the phone. Would not answer questions - raised his voice. I chose to go with another company due to disrespectful way he spoke to me.

Description of Work: Cassell Brothers removed my 51 year old duct work, serviced my unit, install two thermostats and a damper system for a very reasonable price. They arrived on time, were courteous and thorough. I had six (6) other vendors say they wanted the work but never got back with me. These guys are "throwbacks" to an era when people kept their word and wanted to work.

Description of Work: I had a gas water heater housed in a metal cabinet outside my home. I have no idea how old the water heater was, but it did not appear to be that old. I still had hot water, but it did not seem as warm as usual. We had had recent rain and with the vents in the cabinet I was not sure if the water was from rain or if it was leaking on the floor very close to the ground. I spoke with Cassel Bros. on Fri. & they agreed to come on Monday. I asked them to call me first. They called as they were driving in my yard. An older man opened the door and looked at the water on the floor only & proclaimed I needed a new once since this one was leaking. I told him ahead of time I had checked prices at Lowes in case I needed one. He then told me mine was old and I would need a new hut to house it because the newer heaters were taller & would not fit into the old hut. ($500.00) I had no idea where to check on the price so I agreed. He told me he had to go get the heater & hut & he would return. (I never saw him again) Later a young man I had never seen told me he was there to install the heater. He had to tear out the old first. I heard him tell another man (who either actually installed it or checked out the younger man's work) that he had never done this before. I honestly cannot tell if the new hut is taller than the old. It looks the same to me. Another person showed up and checked out my HVAC system which had never been checked since I moved into this house 3 years ago. This was at my request. He took every thing apart & explained everthing to me. I agreed on a maintenance contract which I thought was reasonable. They cleaned up the yard fairly well.

Description of Work: I had an unknown residue on a bedroom wall. It was gray in color. I had Cassell test. It was mold from the heating & air system. The system was 11 years old. Cassell ripped out the entire system and 85% of the duct work that could be reached. They in stalled a top line Traine System with 2 zones, additional ducts, rerouted all the ducts off the attic floor ALL IN ONE DAY. The next day they came and adjusted everything. The system runs perfect. They installed a special electronic-mold-killer that flushed the ducts that they could not reached. Highly recommend this system. It was expensive but with the Mid-Carolina Electric finance program it was affordable. Cassell setup the 5 year finance deal They bagged the old system to be destroyed.

Description of Work: We had this company sub contracted to preform work at a customer house. We were responsible for the warranty, plus guarantee of services. The customer called and told us that Cassell had left trash in the yard, as we were prompt to respond and investigate. Upon arrival we discovered they had left several pieces of old duct work, clippings, and ect in plain view of the 65 year old customers back yard. We soon called the owner of Cassell ,to which he said he would have someone come collect the trash spread over the yard. They did not arrive until 2 days later sadly. We then received another call from the customer for services a year later only for her to explain to us that Cassell had not connected the new duct work previously installed a year before in two separate rooms. We NO LONGER USE THIS COMPANY....
