Description of Work: I called them on a Friday about leaks and was told they would be in contact to set up appt. time. I didn't hear anything on Friday, but Monday at 7:40 I got a call and the serviceman asked if that was a good time for me. He arrived within 30 min., came in to see where leaks were, found places on roof and showed me pictures of holes. He said he could take care of it right then. Their minimum charge was $225, but since this was the 3rd roofing company to do work on the same area, I wanted it fixed. Repairs came with a year guarantee.

Description of Work: I asked Grier Roofing to give an estimate for a roof replacement after another company had told me that the roof was completely worn out and should be replaced immediately. I was fully expecting to replace the roof but was hoping for a better price. The estimator did a thorough inspection and gave me a very reasonable price, about 30% less than the other company, but also told me that the roof was definitely not worn out and should be fine for another 2-3 years, maybe more. (I subsequently obtained a third opinion, with a similar assessment, i.e. that the roof was not in need of replacement at this time, and probably not for several years.) I greatly appreciate the honesty and integrity of the Grier Roofing representative and will call them to do the job when the roof does, in fact, need to be replaced. I also appreciate the representative's professionalism, in that, although he disagreed with the first company's assessment, he did not say or imply anything at all negative about that company.
