Fabulous job- the exterior of our home looks amazing! Great attention to detail

Daygig Painting did an absolutely OUTSTANDING job during our project. We hired them to stain and install our brand new Douglas fir double wooden doors for our front entry way and to paint and install two new exterior fiberglass doors for our garage and our service yard. They were timely, neat, easy to work with and an amazing value for the work performed. Would highly recommend their services! Our house has never looked better!

Billy was very easy to work with. He was responsive and timely when decisions were being made. Additionally he was willing to order sample paints, leave a color book to help with decisions and willing to provide input when asked.

After getting through scheduling the job went without issues. The crew at Daygig took 4 days to pressure wash, make small repairs and painted the house. The crew was quiet and professional. I work from home and barely knew they were even working. Working with Billy was very easy and would work with him again.

We hired Daygig painting to paint the exterior of our home (cedar plank boards). The projected consisted of power washing the exterior of the home, making repairs to all places of exterior wood rot, repairing damaged boards, removing nails/screws, caulking any holes in the wood and ensuring that no gaps in the boards were present that may lead to pest or water intrusion. After the exterior was washed, caulked and repaired the crew applied two coats of quality Sherwin Williams paint to the exterior and gutters. The crew was on time and extremely polite and professional. They took great care to ensure the job site was neat and clean at all time. Their painting technique was flawless. After numerous inspections, I couldn't find a drop of paint splatter anywhere. The wood repair carpenter was outstanding. The exterior of our home looks completely brand new and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I plan on hiring Daygig Painting for all of my future painting projects.

I have hired Daygig twice for interior painting and handyman jobs. Billy and his crew are very professional, responsible, and accessible. Billy always kept me informed on the daily progress of the work by phone or sending pictures. They were always on time and finished the job in the agreed upon time frame. I highly recommend this contractor. This review is for a painting project that consisted of an interior popcorn ceiling removal, repaint of the ceiling and interior home repainting job completed by DayGig Painting. The job was completed in the time frame estimated. The quality was excellent. The significant advantage of DayGig Painting is the additional observations, advise, options and recommendations that DayGig provided while performing the work at the job site. They were able to provide additional assistance in minor exterior re-construction and painting. The crew was polite, professional, and enjoyable to have around the house while the work was being done. The home was left as clean or cleaner than when the work began.

Daygig was hired to paint our dingy, dirty popcorn ceiling. The crew were professional and did their work in a timely manner. Everything was well protected during the painting process. Ceilings turned out great. Price was competitive with other quotes we received.

They were ontime, neat and quiet when I was in the house with them. They did an excellent job on my walls and woodwork, even doing some extras that they felt needed to be done. They put all furniture back in place carefully so they wouldn’t scratch my newly refinished floors. I will never use anyone else again.

What can I say that has not already been said? I'll work through the things that were important to us in the hopes that it'll help you reach a decision. Background: House is about a 30' tall, elevated, 2800 sq-ft house. 20 years old. Cyprus siding. Some rot....not extensive. Every nail on the house siding was about 1/8" to 1/4" overdriven. Bid includes paint, rot repair and caulking of all overdriven nails. People: Billy and his crew are excellent. They care about what they are doing and they are interested in your happiness at all times. Prices: Reasonable.....he wasn't the cheapest but he was within 10% or so of the cheapest. He was 50% less than the most expensive. Shop around on Hilton Head. Planning: Paint jobs are expensive so we had a lot of concerns about color, sheen, materials, etc., etc., etc. Billy went out of his way to help. He came to our house with samples and showed us what the house would look like. Further, when the color wasn't exactly as we expected after the first wall of paint went up, he discussed with his paint rep, offered to darken it (no cost) and basically held our hand while we worried about the color. That extra attention was much appreciated. And....the color is perfect! Timeline: He met all his commitments on timeline. Overall: Excellent. The house just looks fantastic.

Outstanding work done by DayGig painting. They were professional, on time every day and worked hard to complete the project on time. The owner Billy text us each morning to let us know when the crew would arrive and he would go over the project as it came together. Our experience with DayGig was extremely positive - outstanding. Everything about Billy Howe and his crew is first-class. From the initial visit, thoughtful advice and suggestions, detailed estimate and fair price, to the job prep and actual completion of the job - it was about as close to perfect as anyone could get. Our house desperately needed repainting, caulking, cement board and other exterior repairs. Today it looks like new. We got the right paint and materials, and more importantly the right professional people to do the job. They met and exceeded my expectations in every way. Billy communicated with us via text, phone, and photos during the work. Upbeat and pleasant to work with. He was on top of the job and came on site. He always responds back promptly. His project leader was very courteous and responsive to our requests and questions. The whole crew was great. The job was started when promised, and the crew arrived on time each day. Project completion on time, perhaps even a day early. Final cleanup excellent. I would hire them again, and would not even consider anyone else. Highly recommended.

It went very well, they were very careful

On the two occasions we had Billy and his crew here they did an excellent job. The estimates were reasonable and the work was done in a timely manner. The painting crew worked each day with no cell phone calls or long breaks. They were polite and answered all my questions. We wouldn't hesitate to call DayGig for our next paint job inside or outside.

Billy and his crew did such a fantastic job painting the inside of our house that we hired them back to paint the outside a few months later! The entire team was top-notch—professional, punctual, responsive, and Billy was a pleasure to work with! Would highly recommend Daygig painting!

Once a date was selected the team was there promptly each day. After a couple of days of painting I checked on the work and noted where there were a few areas that appeared to need more work. I didn't mention it at the time and after another day noticed that they had taken care of all the areas. So believe them to be very professional in their work. They also cleaned up all the areas were they worked each day so that the yard did not look messy or unkempt. I would recommend them to anyone interested in having their house painted, they did a great job.

We were referred to Daygig painting by our realtor. We initially contacted them for interior painting. What resulted was not only a quality paint job but also some spectacular carpentry work. We enjoyed our experience so much when it came time to do the exterior we didn’t give a thought to contacting anyone else.
