Billy Howe and Daygig Painting did an excellent job painting the outside of my house. They arrived on schedule, were professional and thorough. Billy worked well with my POA getting approval of the colors I wanted to use. He had a team of carpenters that were able to replace a privacy fence that was falling over from wood rot. They did all the work in a reasonable time and for a reasonable price. They cleaned up every day before they left. I will definitely be using them again.

I recently got 3 bids to have my home repainted in Sea Pines. While all three bids were in the same range I decided to hire Daygig Painting. From the beginning Billy Howe made me feel that they would make sure everything was taken care of to my specifications. And it was. I first looked on the Sea Pines Homeowners Facebook page and saw that of all the painting contractors that were suggested by owners Daygig was by far the most highly praised. Daygig’s crew did a beautiful job of painting and Billy took care of getting me an electrician to install my new exterior lights and suggested a great faux painter to do the wash on my brick chimney. I now have a brand new home. Thank you Billy and the crew of Daygig!

Billy is an awesome human being and a great communicator. Daygig Painting replaced all the punky siding and trim, caulked everything thoroughly, and painted the house beautifully. He’s a well respected man in our community.

DAYGIG PAINTING Will be our forever choice of painters. We recently remodeled an entire home, using the original contractor’s painters, who used an inferior non lasting paint. I came home to find even the color I’d painstakingly chosen was not used. They instead chose to ‘copy’ the color from another store. There was No offer to correct anything. Billy at DAYGIG PAINTING used top quality products. The work was scheduled in a more than reasonable time frame, with Billy checking in on-site as well as texting daily. Claudia and the crew were very conscientious about the level of work they delivered. They were lovely and professional. All that, and DAYGIG PAINTING was way more reasonably priced than the original work that we had to have redone! We’ve never been more pleased.

We've had Daygig paint the exterior of our home and several bedrooms. Billy Howe and his crew were outstanding. They kept us informed of their progress and were meticulous in their work. I recommend them highly.

Billy did a really good job communicating except for the portions he failed to want to address that he agreed to conduct. He pitched to me a carpenter that could take care of a small item we needed help with on a cabinet. He included this in his estimate and we agreed to terms. It was like pulling teeth to get the carpenter to do the job, and ultimately, did not do the job, and Billy did adjust the final payment. As for the painting, we had to have the crew back to fix obvious issues, other areas agreed to that were not completed, and still did not pick up their mess. Another area of concern was we found beer in our fridge from his crew. He investigated and said it was for a friend after they completed work...which is quite suspect. Given the quality of the services, I could see them having some beers as part of their day-to-day... I would rate the painting overall 2 stars. I frankly could have done a better job...I just didn't want to paint the entire place (every wall, every ceiling). They did remove popcorn ceiling in a couple rooms and that effort was good quality. If I had to do this again, I would have went with a couple other options/companies that were within the same quote value as Billy's team at Daygig Painting. Billy is a decent person, and it pains me to rate so poorly, but ultimately, for the cost of this job, the value was just not there. I wouldn't recommend doing more business with this company.

Being new to Hilton Head I was more than a bit nervous to find help for the work that needed done on our newly purchased property. I feel very fortunate to have found DayGig painting after sifting through various resource lists and online reviews. To sum up the experience, Billy and his crew are friendly, efficient, professional, trustworthy and excellent at painting. His carpenter did beautiful work replacing a door, threshold, trim and moldings. They show up when they say they will, work fast and thoroughly. I also very much appreciated the many photos sent when I wasn't in town, and the extra attention to bringing in deliveries and repairs they would notice while painting. We will definitely call DayGig again and would recommend without hesitation.

Very professional. Quickly received quote on project post visit. Started project within 2 weeks. Started every day on time, cleaned up after a days work, quality of work was excellent. Finished on time according to schedule. Nice, friendly, and hard workers. Would definitely hire again.

It was the best experience we've experienced with a Contractor. The owner was in communication several times a day. His team was detail oriented, respectful of us and our home, and cleaned up after themselves daily. The repair work, ceilings, and walls look magnificent. We hired them to do the exterior paint also! I cannot recommend Billy Howe and his Daygig Painting highly enough! 10 stars!

The entire crew and team were all exceedingly professional and responsive to our timing and needs. We had a couple of special jobs such as staining shakes and doors and they brought in very experienced pros to complete same. Gloria, as a team lead, was exceptional at communication and setting each day up with percision. ....strongly recommend Billy and DayGig!!

Daygig Painting was fantastic! It was by chance that they had time the same week I called to fit in painting just one room for me. There were a lot of holes to patch and I thought that would be a problem. Not for Daygig! The holes are totally gone, the room done with two fresh coats of paint, and the baseboard painted. Daygig sent Marco to do the job. He was polite, professional, and took great care in his work. The entire job, including cleanup and rehanging blinds was done in a day and and another hour or so the next day. Billy, the owner, personally checked on the job several times to be sure all was perfect. Without a doubt, when I need painting again, Daygig will be who I call. Great service, excellent job, and good price. I highly recommend Daygig for your next painting job.

It went very smoothly. Billy is so easy to work with. He is personable, responsive, and accommodating. His crew were neat, professional and very respectful. The work was done on time; everything was neatly performed and the finished product turned out even better than we expected! We certainly plan on using Daygig Painting again.
