I paid the agreed upon $69 service call for a diagnosis. They make that clear up front. Courtesy should have been used and maybe they would have replaced my unit. I went with another company and was cool the next day! Pitiful!

The technician was very thorough with both air handlers and outside units, Heat pumps. Readable and very thorough report at the end of his work as well.

Very fast service, they were willing to work with me for a specific service call time, which was good since it's difficult to leave work and just wait for 5 hours. Courteous, knowledgeable technician showed up when promised, charged R22. A side note: When you pay by card, the tech calls in to a 3rd party processing center and reads off the numbers, then writes your info on to a transaction record. I had a pending transaction for the amount above show in my account for several days, and then it disappeared. Technically I still haven't paid for the service... I suppose that would be a good thing if I thought they had just decided not to charge me, but I'm expecting a call within the next couple days. I would recommend just writing a check.

My call was answered by a courteous, helpful dispatcher. A technician was scheduled for a same-day visit and all fees were described in detail. The technician investigated quickly and methodically. He explained the problem in detail and answered all my questions. He informed me that the work I needed done could be done by the company that did the initial installation under warranty without charge. He informed me of my rights in this area. I'm completely satisfied with this company's service.

It was easy to use this company. They gave me the lowest estimate after a system evaluation. It took 2 days to do the work. They made our kids a playhouse out of one of the boxes. They did break a light fixture, but went out a got a new one and replaced it. They go above and beyond what you might expect.

I have dealt with them for a couple years now, and they are good. They did what they said they were going to do in a timely fashion. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

The price is per year for the maintenance. They are excellent. They have 24-hour service. Our air compressor went out in our conditioner, and they even brought in window units since they are unable to fix it that day. We have not had any problems with them. We will continue to use them and would recommend them to others.

They did a calculation to figure out what type of system I needed for my home that would fit my needs best. They installed this system and I am very happy with it. I am even saving some money each month because this new system is more efficient. The price was competitive. Bill Rudd was very nice and professional. I would use them again in the future and have already recommended them to others.

I got three different companies to quote on the job. Each company s representative took time to explain things to me but only Mr. Rudd of Berkeley took the time to go under the house into the crawl space to inspect the ductwork. Before entering the house, Mr. Rudd put on booties to prevent carrying in any dirt. Of the 3 representatives, Mr. Rudd spent the most time ensuring that I understood anything that I had questions about. On an "apples to apples" cost comparison, Berkeley were in the middle (i.e. one quote was higher, one quote was lower). I telephoned Mr. Rudd and told him about the quotes, not really expecting that he would be able to lower his quote to match the lowest bid. Somehow he found a way to do it. This was on a Thursday. The next day Mr. Rudd phoned me to say that they would have people available to replace the broken unit (including its foundation pad) on Monday. Alvin and James arrived on time early Monday morning and were very cordial and polite. They also answered any questions that I had. They finished the job at about 3:00 pm and then took the time to set the programmable thermostat and to explain how to operate it. Shortly after they left, Mr. Rudd phoned me again to say they had scheduled Alvin and James to replace the second unit on the following day. Alvin and James again arrived on time and completed the work by about 2:00 pm. It is now about 3 weeks since the job was done and everything is operating very well. Mr. Rudd is planning to re-visit me next week as a final follow up.

They are very good. Because I have a yearly contract with them I am allowed to call them anytime of day through out the year to come for service.
