The work looked good and the house was immediately put back on the rental market.

It went very badly. Fernando came 2 1/2 weeks ago to give me the bid and said that he would be at my house to do the job by the end of that week or at the latest Monday or Tuesday of the following week. When he didn't show up I called him and he said that he would come within one or two days. I gave him another week and called him again. I told him that we were going on a trip so that we were in a time crunch. He said that he would come and fix it right away. Yesterday two men showed up, unannounced, to start laying the tile. Fernando said that he would call before he came so that we could be prepared for him. While laying the tile they broke the baseboard in the Utility Room. Fernando was supposed to fix it. When Fernando came today he told me that he forgot to include removing the old tile in the price. We had gone over that very thoroughly when he came to give the bid. He was not the low bidder by any means as it was. I"m sorry now that I did not accept one of the other bidders. He told me that he wanted an additional $250 to do this job. I told him that I did not feel that an additional $250 was appropriate. He finished laying the tile and the grout. It was an adequate job and does look pretty, but I definitely would not use him again. He did not repair the baseboard that they broke yesterday. He put some paint over it but it is obviously still broken. I will have to hire a carpenter to come in and make repairs for what Fernando did. All in all we are not happy with this job. Little did we know that we would have been better off had he not come at all.

Fernando Correa met me at the appointed time at the house. He speaks very little English & i had a very hard time communicating with him. However, he did take a very brief look around. In the bathroom he suggested replacing a vinyl tub-0surround with ceramic tile & offered to estimate that as well. I agreed. Mr. Correa gave me only a very quick verbal estimate (no paper-work)& seemed very anxious to leave. When I contacted Mr Correa to tell him I was ready to have the work done, he replied that he was in New York for a couple of weeks. I text-ed him back to say that I could wait that long & would he please provide me with the date he could start. I got no response at all. Finally I sent another message asking if he was not interested in the job. He replied that he was not. I then asked him why he didn't just say that in the first place. Nothing further was heard from Mr Correa. If Mr Correa didn't want the job, didn't have time, whatever, all he had to do was say so. Instead he wasted a great deal of my time & frustrated me greatly. He deserves an F for his efforts.

It all went excellently just like I have described above. We would recommend FERCO and will certainly use them again for our painting needs.

Fernando was prompt, courteous and provided a good estimate for the job. It was a job which required extra care to avoid overspray. Overall the crew did a great job But inspection there was one small area which was not sufficiently covered. It may have been difficult to notice until later once the paint dried. The crew came back and fixed the problem pronto. Great job, great price, great service and great follow up. Great contractor. I would definitely use Fernando again.

Overall, it went well for the most part. The contractor himself, FERCO was quick to come out and give us a quote and he was very responsive.

He never showed up or called and we waited three days.

Would highly recommend to anyone. Will be asking to paint the rest of the house.

He did a great job. He did what he said that he was going to do when he said that he would do it and charged exactly what he said he would when the job was finished. We were very happy with him and will continue to use him in the future.

I found him on Angie's List. Their reviews were good, nobody had anything bad to say about him so I ended up using him and he was very good. He does everything and I used him for an electrician but he does everything from additions to screen and porches, heating and air conditioning. If he doesn't do it he knows somebody that will. I give him high marks, he had an electrician out in the house that did a good job. He's going to be doing some tile work for me, flat tiles, bathroom tiles, kitchen tile, backsplash, etc. I'm going to be using him in the future.

Arrived promptly. Thee very polite young men worked steadily throughout the day. Asked if it was OK to play their radio. Quality of work was excellent. Owner stopped by several times during the day to check on their progress. House was vacant, we had just closed on it and weren't moving in for a week. They finished the entire job in one day. I was very impressed by the full experience. Price was excellent as well.

They did a great job on this and it looks great. We had them also pressure wash and stain our deck. Unfortunately this did not go well at all. The pressure washing was not consistent and did not remove all the black on the deck or all the old stain. We were not too concerned since we were told they would use solid stain. Apparently they could not find the right color of stain in solid so they used semi transparent instead. The result is a deck that looks worse than it did before the work. They did refund most of the money. After the great renovation work I hate to give a bad rating, but the deck is very disappointing and really could have been avoided with a simple phone call. Overall they are great (but maybe a little too busy) and we will call them again if we need more work done.

Fernando Correa and his crew were very quick. They finished the job in 3 days. He did a very good job for the price he charged. There was a problem with the faucet he installed, but he came out right away and fixed the problem. The only thing I was not happy about was that they vented an exhaust fan directly into the ceiling instead of venting it outside. But, considering the price I paid, I can't really complain too much. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work.

Fernando is amazing!!!! He does what he says he will do! He is the best contractor out there! I found him on Angie's list, after a previous contractor had taken us for lots of money and had ruined our home! I told Fernando what happened to us and he came over to our house right away to access what had happened and to talk about how he could help us! GOD BLESS FERNANDO and his company FERCO! He suggested ideas on how to decorate our house that were even better than I could have imagined. If he gives you an idea, LISTEN TO HIM! He is so creative and a perfectionist. His prices are fair and he is always supervising his crew's workmanship. Fernando SAVED us from an awful situation that a previous contractor left us with. THANK THE LORD FOR FERNANDO!! We will always call him when we need any kind of work done on or around our home!! ;o)~

When I called he came promptly and gave me a price that was agreeable to me. We agreed that he will do the painting this coming Saturday. Evan though he has not done the work yet I was impressed by him.

I have used them twice. They are extremely good. I like if I call him, he will be there the next morning. If he says he will be there, he will be there. He does really good work. He is neat and he cleans up after himself. He does not overcharge. His prices are very fair. I am very pleased with him. His name is Fernando.

Fernando and his crew placed each piece of laminate flooring in such a precise way that it made my whole house much more beautiful. They showed up on time every day and took a lunch break and worked without stopping for 6 days at 1 house and 4 days at my other house. They truly are professionals in their workmanship and their work habits. They cleaned up their messes each day before they left and worked steadily, quietly, without interruption. They answered my questions easily and did extra duties without complaining.

They were fast and very responsive but they just broke a thing in my kitchen. Their price was fair, overall, they would have to get back because they have to redone the job, anyway, they were nice people and they actually work on Saturday to finish it for me. The owner was very professional.

WORK BEGAN ON APRIL 15TH AND WAS COMPLETED ON MAY 10TH 2013. I HAVE BEEN A HOMEOWNER FOR 51 YEARS AND HAVE HAD MANY DEALINGS WITH CONTRACTORS DURING THAT TIME. FERNANDO AND HIS CREW ARE EASILY THE BEST GROUP OF RENOVATION SPECIALISTS THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THEY ARE HARDWORKING,DEPENDABLE,AND BEST OF ALL THEY DO VERY GOOD WORK. IT'S NICE TO DO BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE WHO TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. THEY MAY NOT BE THE CHEAPEST OUT THERE...BUT , YOU USUALLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

It was a great experience. This is a professional group through and through. They did their best not to inconvenience us. The only inconvenience, which would occur with any remodeling, was having to function without a kitchen sink and downstairs bathroom sink for about 10 days while cabinets were being installed, stained, and varnished. The granite company broke our master bath countertop and one piece that went beside the range when they were delivering it - these were not Fernando's crew - so that delayed the finishing of two rooms.

Overall it was a great experience. Fernando was very quick (same day) to come out and give a quote, which we found very reasonable compared to other quotes. His team was out 2 days later to start the job. Day1 they did the majority of the drywall work. Day2 they finished the drywall work, and started the painting. Day3 they completed all the painting. After the painting was done they were to replace all the molding. It took another couple days for him to finish the last pieces of molding , but we are not yet living in the house so it wasn't a major issue for us (reason for B ratings on responsiveness and punctuality). The quality of work is very good and we are thoroughly pleased. We would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.

Overall, the estimating experience was great.

It went very well. This was our 4th or 5th time of hiring Fernando et al -- they are our "go to" guys. Importantly, we had a big fight after job #3 -- and all is well. Fernando showed up on time to bid the job, guys showed up on time to do the work. On day #1, they stayed late to get as much done as possible. Day #2 was just finishing up -- and varnishing. Job site was clean. As always, they were clever about solving peculiarities in the house. Each a jack-of-several-trades.

Fernando was very good when he came to the house to see the job and provide an estimate. Very personable. He made some suggestions about certain aspects of the painting. On Painting Day, he arrived on time with his crew, introduced them and then left. (I saw him once again in the late afternoon, for a brief 5 minutes.) It appeared that no-one was supervising the work. They did a nice job but I have two serious issues with the work, and the do-as-little-as-possible attitude. First, Fernando had to be called back to fix a problem in a ceiling. Interestingly, he did not return my call asking for that fix. I wound up thinking he had called..... but I had misread the date of a cell-phone call from him from before the job was done. That call made me think he had called me back about the fix, and so returned IT. Since I had him on the phone (very surprised he was) he could hardly decline to come fix a problem, so he did send a crew over; they did a 90% job on the fix; it is not perfect. (Yes, I expect perfect for the price I paid.) My second and more serious complaint is that I don't think I should have to tell a professional painter the details about the proper execution of painting, and I think that if there are marks and indentations where they don't belong (on moldings, for example, or door panels) that a good professional will take care of them in the prep work. He did not take care of them, but just blithely painted right over them. When the crew was here fixing the ceiling, I carefully explained to the one man who could speak English that I wanted him to tell Fernando about the un-prepped indentations and that I think they should have been taken care of. Would Fernando call me and come fix the indentations? I didn't think so, and he didn't. He's got he wrong attitude, in my opinion. Do ALL the work, or don't contract to do the job. The moldings look nice and clean and freshly painted, with the same old indentations, and the job boils down to okay, not great. Prepping the indentations would have taken about 15 minutes; now if they are fixed all the doors have to be REpainted. The final aggravation is that the price he charged was top top dollar for the work, which was started and completed in one day; it was not a long or difficult job, just a hallway and kitchen ceiling. I consider this the job of a lazy teenager forced to do the work by his parents. I also think that I was taken for a little ride by Fernando....top dollar and second rate work. Hire him at your own risk.

Called (3) different times to set up appointments in which he didn't show up or call for each appointment. Also Ferco had a hard time understanding my address as well as my name. I cannot believe the A-RATINGS he gets. I was dumb enough to give him (3) chances in which each time we were waiting for him to show up. NEVER AGAIN!
