FERCO

Absolutely criminal…he charged us a large amount of money to replace a deck, and over the course of 4 weeks his crew deconstructed and then tried to reconstruct our deck THREE times, each time failing to do it correctly. He used mismatched materials and his crew has obviously never built a deck before, though he claimed they had built “more than 30”. Stay away at all costs! Now we are having to hire a professional company to completely start over from scratch with all new material, and the project is costing us almost triple what it should have.

Didn't finish the job and will not contact us back.

Fernando was reasonably priced, his workers showed up as scheduled and the craftsmanship was very good.

Michael Stocksett called after I posted and came out the next day on time. He looked at he damage and emailed me an estimate later in the day. I accepted his estimated and he gave me a time that he would start. He came out a few days later and began the job. The first day he tore out the damaged ceiling and replaced it. The next day he returned and painted it. Michael was Polite, professional and competent. I will call him if I need again.

Ferco and his crew did his usual excellent job. He has done a number of projects for me since 2011. Tiled the floor on my screen porch, painted the entire interior of my home with much drywall repairs (after I bought the house), painted my garage including the floor, installed a kitchen faucet, to name a few of the jobs. He is doing ceiling repair to my neighbors house now. Always very professional. His crews are very friendly and efficient and go well above and beyond.

Fernando was very responsive...which is pretty rare. Not only that, but he actually arrived at the agreed upon time to give an estimate and to start the job. The job took a few days longer than expected, but that was no problem for me. We added on painting last minute and he fit that into his schedule immediately. The drywall finishing was not to my standards in some areas, but I am a perfectionist. I was able to correct the problem areas on my own. The interior painting was great. I would hire Fernando and his team again because he is dependable, reasonably priced, very professional and personable.

We had them come in and do our floors. I won't ever hire them again. They didn't finish their job. They left it undone and we had to have other people come in and repair his work. They used sub-quality materials, they did not correctly install the floors, boards are falling through on the stair wells, they did not come back and finish staining the floors that they were supposed to do; so like I said, we would not hire them again. It was just wood floors - it's not like you're a brain surgeon or something.

They did a fantastic job! They were professional, punctual and very reasonably priced. They did everything I asked for and more, and our house looks beautiful! This was the second time I used them- the first time they repainted our deck. They are great and I will definitely use them in the future.

THE FELLOW WHO CAME - JONATHAN GODWIN - WAS RIDICULOUSLY OUT OF CONTROL OF HIMSELF. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE DID, I AM TRYING TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. AND FELT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

We can't say enough good things about Fernando and his painting company! He arrived for his initial visit on time, and offered us an estimate before he left the house. With other painters, we received no estimates, late estimates or high estimates. Fernando was upfront and very concerned about doing a great job for us. He and his polite and timely crew completed everything in a very professional manner. Fernando answered every question and stayed very involved with the entire process. He tolerated us when we had to make a few changes. The job took no longer than he predicted, and he was very flexible and considerate of our schedule. We highly recommend Ferco and their awesome services.

We are very happy with the results. He has a very good eye for color and detail. He even had a key to the house and did the work while we were out of town.

Not professional! he gets angry when you tell him something you don like. My husband had to buy a lot of the materials to get things going. 3 months after they finished the job, we found out that they used used the old plumbing for the kitchen sink connection, which was cracked and very old. it burst during the night, we had water all over the kitchen and the plumber Who came to fix the damage showed us the nasty job they did. Also, the crown molding is falling apart.

The kitchen had wall paper and Fernando had his men prepared the walls and painted them so that we can't tell that there is wall paper there. We had problems with the paint on the capinets and doors from a previous painter and Fernando's men did their magic and took care of everything. His team is very knowledgeable and works very hard. Everyone was courteous. They completely cleaned up behind they. Fernando helped me with the placement of color in the kitchen and laundry room and with the kind of paint to use. I will use FERCO for my next painting job.

Overall it went well...especially for the price paid, but the finish details are where I was not fully satisfeid. Fernando was very responsive and eager to make sure I was happy with the result. His team was always polite and worked with us when we changed our minds about paint colors and other details during the project. For 98% of the work, I am completely satisfied...the walls, ceilings, trim...anything that was painted was finished. The installation of the floor was great, he even re-did the clear coat of the complete 2nd floor when bubbles were found in portions of the finish. However, the railing install did not meet my expectations. It was not fastened to the floor correctly and the detail of the cuts and fit are not to a professional level. I also had a bit of trouble getting the project finshed in a timely manner...they are very busy and did not always have guys working on our project when I expected. I would definitely hire them again for anything that would be painted, but I feel that the finish carpentry leaves something to be desired.

Fernando gave us an estimate verbally on 9/20/2915 to replace old bathroom floor with a new tile floor, smooth the bathroom walls and pint the whole bathroom, install new commode, old vanity, and a wall mirror in 2 working days for $1000.00 My understanding he will do the job but he left two other person to do the job. Fernando never came back on Friday 09/25/15 to inspect the job and never calls us to answer my question. These men did not know what was agreed between me and Fernando regarding this Job. In order to smooth the walls, his man put the plaster, never let the plaster dry up, and started painting in half an hour on the wet plaster. As you can see in the pics, the old paint was visible underneath the new paint. When I saw the first coat being applied, I stopped him and said that it needed to be fixed; they would make sure that everything looked great and I would be happy. He also stated that we worry too much. He painted layers of paint over wet paint and results were awful. Installed wall fixtures upside down (see in picture) on wet paint. Next Fernando came with a used aluminum threshold to put on the floor and when my husband told him it is not acceptable he left our house with anger & rude comments. He brought the new one, but never came inside to inspect the work from his subcontract person Alberto. Before finishing work he keep asking to write check stating bank going closed at 1.00. He left all the garbage and left over board in front of my house (see in picture). Without my permission he picked my paint from my garage and gave to Alberto to use. He has no manners, unprofessional and disrespectful. Fernando wasted a great deal of our time and cause frustration. He deserves an F for his efforts.We spend our whole Sunday in repainting the walls and fixing all the holes and cracks.We will never hire or recommend this contractor ever again. The toilet that was installed is also shaky and was not installed properly. The mirror that was installed is also shaky.

I will definitely hire him and his team again. Polite and on-time.

Fernando and his crew are top notch. They were prompt, courteous, and they cleaned up after themselves. The hardwood floors they did for us look amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

Called Fernando to come and give estimate. Came the very next day after calling two other contractors on Angie's list. One never called back and the other said it would be a week or two before he could come. My schedule was very tight so I asked if they would please be on time and he was. After giving estimate, I asked when he could start. They started the next week after advising me to pick out tile as well as purchasing it and grout. They had to replace subfloor which they purchased and brought to home. Yes, It was included in price. Once I called to tell him I had materials, they were here same week and finished within same week. They came on Thurs or Fri, can't remember for sure but they worked all weekend including Sunday to get it done. They also corrected some poorly done grout work on our counter that another contractor had done which wasn't a part of the estimate. Fernando also made a great suggestion on laying the tile in a different pattern which I absolutely loved. They did an EXCELLENT job, were very professional and very nice to work with. I am going to have them replace some linoleum in or laundry room very soon.

The job was done beautifully. Fernando Correa's crew are responsive and courteous. I could not be happier with the job. If you want someone to do remodeling, involving dry wall, paint, and trim you want to call FERCO first.

Excellent experience! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Fernando, the owner, was pleasant, thorough and prompt! We have big rooms and 2-story ceilings they (his helpers) painted, ceilings, and crown molding. As well as staining our front door--it is more beautiful than it was when we moved in the new house 6 years ago! They came every day on-time. They were polite, professional and the quality of their work was better than I have ever seen or experienced and they even cleaned up after themselves. After 5 days working in our home all day long--I would have seen something wrong-- but, no! They were consistently great! And Fernando came by to check their work every day at some point in time. They were so amazing--I just keep adding more work for them every day. Reasonable. Dependable. Quality. Professional. What more can a person ask for? Use them!

Fernando and his crew were on time, did what they sais they would do and finished it within time and budget that was quoted. I highly recommend FERCO!

Fernando is a gentleman. He is very responsive to phone calls and texts. Overall he helped me redo my whole house on a reasonable budget for the neighborhood and future resale. Fernando himself does a great job but, there is only so much of him to go around. Some of his men did a super job and others, not as careful and as much attention to detail as Fernando. Due to his schedule, some work got done very quickly while other work took longer. Fernando always asked me if his schedule was ok in compliance with mine. Anything that I had major urgency to get done, he got done in time. And, the few times there were issues (which is the case in any major overhaul), Fernando himself made sure it was completed to my satisfaction for no additional charge. I would definitely hire him again and will be doing so as I progress in some of the other jobs needed. Thanks Fernando for everything! :-)

He was late to start due to an illness of a family member in Columbia, SA. He missed one other day due to car/truck failure. The work he did is lovely. He is trustworthy and we would use again.
