+ -1 morePuntual and professional. They knew exactly where my septic tank was and did very little damage to my yard when digging to access the cleanout. They pumped and jet flushed the drainfield and explained that there didnt appear to be root infiltration. Performed work quickly and efficiently. Will use next time tank needs service

+ 0 moreWe turned off the water to the toilets when not in use until we were able to have a plumber come out. We had a plumber come out and replaced toilet items and shower stems. We waited to see what would happen to the drain lines. Fixing the leaks took care of the drain line issue. We are now able to cut the grass without putting ruts in the lawn. It is a nice feeling when you have someone or a company that give you honest information.
Description of Work: Dr. Flush inspected out drain lines of our septic system. Our issue was that we were having standing water in our yard where the drain lines are located. It got to the point that the riding mower was leaving ruts. After inspection, we were asked if we had any faucets leaking. We replied that we were looking at having a plumber come and replace some plumbing items. The gentleman told me that he was pretty sure that our problem was leaking faucets. It was suggested that we have the leaks taken care of first and if things did not improve to give a call back. It was hard to believe that leaking faucets could cause such an issue.

+ 0 moreMy husband and I found the access panel to the septic tank and had it set and ready to be done. The person called and within 15 minutes was there at my house. Hooked up the truck and suctioned out the tank. Filled it up with water and emptied it out again. Explained to us to use brewers yeast, three packs a month in our septic tanks. Explained where our run off would be for our tank. Asked if our toilets were running alright, and explained what the pressure valve was suppose to be used for. Hoping we don't have that problem. Very polite and knowledgeable in what he stated. Would very much use this company again.
Description of Work: They came out to pump out my septic tank. As I asked a few questions, the person responded with a very good understanding of the answers. Very polite and punctual, professional conduct. Would very much call these people again when in time of need getting my septic tank taken care of. Took about 30 minutes to get done, even though we had not had it done in ten years.

+ -1 moreI live in another state. I live in FL and the house they repaired is in SC. I wasn't there and had to learn everything through the cell phone (tenants and provider's contractor). I compared three names from Angie's list and chose Dr. Flush/UpState Sceptic because they were a little bit larger, well established, and had a good record. I had another company (smaller) give me an estimate and his plan was entirely different (he wanted to drill a very deep hole, like 18 plus feet to hit sand and have that be my new drain spot). After cross-referencing counsel, I stuck with Dr. Flsuh/Upstate Sceptic. They kept their word on everything and knocked it out when they said they would. I didn't have any remnant problems with the work or tenant after they finished. I'd use them again.
Description of Work: They had a complete new drain field installed (150'). The replaced my sceptic tank lid and pumped my septic tank. They filled dirt back in and leveled the yard back of roughly.

+ -1 moreThey were on time. They fixed our problem by chopping tree roots out of the way of the drain line. They also pumped the septic tank. The charge of $360 was their normal charge for pumping a septic tank. They didn't charge us any extra for chopping the tree roots out of the way of the drain line. I would recommend this company. I hope I don't need septic service again but if I do I will call them.

+ -1 moreThis technician could not have been more understanding, courteous or professional. He took care of the problem quickly and efficiently and I was very pleased with their price. I got great customer service and a good price. I would definately use this company again in the future and feel confident in recommending them to my friends and family. Its a good feeling to know I can count on them in an emergency.
Description of Work: I had originally called American Drainfield for service but after not receiving a call back I called Dr. Flush. This was about 10 AM on Saturday monring. I received a call back within 20 minutes and explained to the gentleman I spoke with that my toilets wouldn't flush Friday night and everything was backing up into the sink, tub & shower. I also explained that I had just had the septic tank drained within the last 6 months. He did tell me there could be a problem with a blockage in the house seeing as this has just been done but someone would have to come out to inspect.. I made the appointment and he said he would have his technician call me when he was on the way. Sure enough within an hour someone called to get directions and was at my home 15 minutes later. After digging up the septic tank cover he could see the problem was that paper had backed up and after releasing the blockage he explained that I did not have to empty the tank at this time and gave me the option of doing that or just being charged for a regular service call. He also explained that the problem I was having with the septic tank having to be emptied so often was due to my being on a lower level of the grading in my development which was built on a steep hill and I was collecting the run off water from the top. I went with emptying the tank again as we were expencting heavy rains that eveing and I could not afford to have the toilets back up again as I live wiith someone who is disabled with MS and could not be without use of the bathroom.

+ -1 moreOn coldest day in 40 years (7 degrees) we awoke to toilets that wouldn't flush. Tried plunger no help. I decided to join Angies list. After researching plumbers (comments by customers) , I found an example of a similar problem. The plumber had recommended a septic cleaning company. I researched those in my area and settled on Dr Flush mainly because the reviews were good but also mentioned the lady who handles the order. Its now 1130 AM and 13 degrees. I called and she told me it was a full tank or blockage at tank. She checked with the owner to see if they were able to run(cold). Good news they were and would get to us today. The arrived about 3:30 and were done in about 35 minutes. They explained what they were doing without missing a beat. they filled the hole and were ready to go when I walked outside with the check. I would recommend these guys to anybody. As a footnote I live in Spartanburg cty/Greenville cty is higher because of disposal fee

+ -1 moreThe lady who answers the phone and schedules the appointments is extremely knowledgeable. She took time on the phone to listen to my and quot;symptomsand quot; and tell me what the possible problems were and what they would approximately cost. The guy who came out to pump my tank was also very knowledgeable and took time explaining to me what the best maintenance plan for my tank would be. Having never owned a house with a septic tank before, it was very helpful. he took the time to draw diagrams and explain how the system actually worked. I will ABSOLUTELY use them EVERY time I need work done on my septic system.

+ -1 moreScheduled for the day prior. Stayed home from work to make appointment. They were a no-show with no contact. Got a call the next day from the service truck the next day. They said that they were just informed of the fact that they missed me yesterday. They offered to come right over if I was available. I was. They came and performed requested septic tank pump out in a polite and professional manner. Tech's were polite, hard working, and engaging. They offered professional advice in reference to septic system maintenance. I was not happy with the fact that the service truck was leaking oil, and left a couple of 3 inch diameter stains on my driveway. I might use them again, but getting stood up after taking a day off of work, was pretty bad. Probably would relay this info to office if I was to consider them again, looking for some compensation.

+ -1 moreCalled Dr. Flush and they were very nice. Agreed to come out the next day and they called to let me know they were on the way. When they arrived they dug up the opening to the septic tank, removed the cover, and within 30-45 minutes the work was completed. The workers were very professional and courteous. I will definitely use their service again.

Working with them was transparent, fair and they arrived as promised and there were no surprises at the end of the service due to the root complications. + -1 moreWe called Dr. Flush mid morning and asked if they could come out to clean out our tank. They said they could come out this afternoon and would call us before coming out. At approximately 3:45 pm two gentlemen arrived (after calling my husband to confirm the visit). They went straight to work, located the tank quickly and neatly removed the grass and dug out the soil on top of the tank lid. They brought their truck up our driveway and extended the hose to clean out the tank. They were mindful of existing plants, sidewalk, etc. in performing their work. They made sure the system flushed properly before they replaced the tank lid, filled in the dirt and replaced the grass on top. Both men were very knowledgeable and shared tips on the care and upkeep of our tank. We would not hesitate to use Dr. Flush again and would recommend them to anyone needing their fine service.

+ -1 moreDr. Flush sent out a two-man crew, so the work went fast. I knew where the tank access point was, so they didn't have to search for it. I provided a tarp for the soil excavated from the ground to keep things a little neater. They were in and out in 30 minutes. The price in Spartanburg County is $235, and in Greenville County its over $300. The difference is that Greenville County charges companies like Dr. Flush a lot more money to dispose of the septic tank waste. I am fully satisfied with the service.

+ -1 moreThis was the first time addressing the septic system at this rental property. We were unsure of where it was and how bad the situation was. Dr Flush gave us the price to pump the system out over the phone when scheduling the appointment so we at least had an idea of how much it cost going in. The guys where there the next day and punctual. After finding the cover and digging 4' feet to get to the system they discovered that it was completely full and pumped the VERY LARGE container. They gave us a thumbs up on the rest of the system and we were relieved to know that we would not have any additional cost over the 360.00 amount given over the phone. Very happy with service and we will use them again. Highly recommend .

+ -1 moreThis is a remarkably good company. I called to set up time for them to come out. The agreed upon time was the same day. They came out, but couldn't find the septic tank clean-out. They called to let me know. I told them I thought I knew where the clean-out is, so they came back the next day. But I was wrong--what I found wasn't the clean-out. The company contacted DHEC to get a builder's map of the property to help locate the tank. Once they got a copy of the map, they came out the next day and began the job. During the job, they called to tell me they had to remove a bush to get to the tank. They finished up in a very short time and did an excellent job. Even with the extra trips and extra work, they charged no more than the original quote. The next day, they mailed me a copy of the DHEC report for my personal files. Again, at no additional charge. A-plus company.
