Description of Work: I began using TRUEGREEN in 20012 for weed control and fertilizing. In 2013, after recommending them to my neighbor, they picked up my neighbor and began skipping my lawn even though I pay by the year. I called twice to complain and they came once. I dropped them and picked up Weed Man and never looked back. Won yard of the month in 2014.

Description of Work: Communications was a problem. When they first started they went to my neighbor who had been a customer, treated his lawn and billed us. We had a mixed grass lawn; but were trying to encourage Bermuda. They planned to aerate in the fall which is good for fescue. When I asked them to change, they reset our schedule so they did the same fertilization two weeks apart (they did give a credit). They were going to charge $208 for the aeration which is very high since there would be no overseeding. they also told me that it did not matter if the ground was not wet. I know that it has to be fairly damp to get plugs out during the aeration. I just did not feel comfortable with them.

Description of Work: Came in measured the yard and disucssed idfferent plans for the new sod to insure it grows well, is fed apporpirately as well as the new shrubbery. I chose to pay for a year in advance to get an additional discount. fist service was provided on time and very professionally.

+ -1 moreTru Green used to come once a month. However, some chemicals they used killed five of our azaleas. After we fired them, I put down some new turf, and the lawn looked better than it had in years. I would not recommend them.

+ -1 moreI would not recommend this company because I still have weeds and ants. They were here when I expected them. The workers were friendly. This company operates in a professional manner. I think the fertilizing was successful. The treatments, however, do not create the desired results.

They go as far as to right me up reports telling me of any problem areas they might have found and what measures need to be taken to rid me of them. They are just terrific, and give me no reasons to discontinue my monthly services.

+ -1 moreI think Tru Green Chem-Lawn does an excellent job on my lawn. My lawns look just great. The workers are very friendly and professional. They are always here for their scheduled work. I pay $45 for the shrubs, $34 for the lawn fertilization, and $60 for the lawn aeration. I am always happy with the job that they do. I would recommend them to others.

+ -1 moreWe have always had problems maintaining a weed free lawn. We finally called Tru Green, and this has not bothered us since. They showed up without any appointment, so we don't even have to set up a time to be there. If we desire to speak with the technician about certain areas of the lawn we are not happy with, he will knock on our door the next trip. This was only done the first visit, however, and our lawn has been green and relatively weed free after that.

The problem was with the aerating job because the rods they stuck in the ground were only about a half an inch, and what good was that going to do for my yard. I asked them to come back out and redo it, but they kept giving me the run around.
