Terminix - Greenville -Termite & Pest Control

I've used Terminix for years. They're very dependable. I wouldn't stay with them if I wasn't real satisfied with him.

They are very good. They come when you ask them. If you have a problem, they’ll come. They are very personable. I trust them. I never felt afraid about them in my house. They are very reliable. If they come and do their service and 2 weeks later, you see something that you don’t like, they will come out immediately and take care of it without cost if you have a contract with them.

Terminix came out and sprayed mid - April for general pests (ants, roaches, spiders, wasps, etc). We did some home removeling and landscaping which caused some pests to come around. Because I signed up for the yearly contract, they came back mid - May and re-sprayed for us, at no cost. I left a VM at around 7.45 AM, I received a call back by 8.15 AM, and the application was complete by noon same day. The techs that came out for out 1st estimate, and 1 application were professional and knowledgable; I was not present for the 2nd visit. The cost is a little more than anticipated, but it will be worth it if we do not have bugs. We also received estimates on crawl space vents and termite application, but we have not purchased on either of those.

I have been very pleased with all aspects of my contact with the local Terminex people.

Nothing else to say. They came, they sprayed, bugs died, I cheered!

I really like Terminix. They are professional, thorough and reliable. They show up when they say they will, and there are no insect issues after they leave. They use email now to alert you to upcoming service dates, which I like. There have been 2 techs over the past year, and both were polite and effective. We used another service when we first moved here, which fortunately did not require a contract. The young man they sent to our house was scary, i.e. shaved head, tattoos on his neck, creepy voice, etc. I never allowed them back. Terminix is much more customer focused. The date above is the end of one year's service with Terminix and that was approximately the yearly cost. We have used Terminix in other states for years with the same satisfaction level.

We've been using them for 20 years. We pay $65 every 3 or 4 months. They are very good. If we have a problem they will come back and spray at no cost.

My basement was leaking. I had someone from that business come and give me a quote of what was needed to stop it. It was leaking from behind, so they put in a french drain in the front. Yeah, in the front to stop the leaking. Like that did a lot of good - NOT. We had 2 years of no rain, so there was no way that I could see whether or not their product worked or not. Once it did rain, the whole basement flooded! When I told them, they could care less. They do not stand behind their product. They should not be in business. I decided to get on Angie's list so that other people do not get taken by these people!!!

Eric came out and did an estimate for the gutters and also did a termite inspection at the same time. He was very nice and helpful. The estimate was a little cheaper than other estimates I had received for similar products so I had them install the gutters. They contract the service out and told me that it would be about a week before the contractor could contact me. Instead, the contractor had the gutters installed within a week. He did a fabulous job. He installed about 150 feet of gutters with 4 downspouts (two of them two-story) in a half day. I barely even noticed they had been there! The gutters have been in use for two months during a very rainy summer and I have had no issues. I definitely recommend this service. Oh yeah, I purchased pest control while they were out there as well. Very comfortable having this group of people in my home.

In the beginning, it went well. We had a regular technician, named Cliff, who was wondderful (responsive, professional, courteous, and reliable) who unfortunately, is no longer with Terminix. About three years ago, I got a visit from another Terminix technician from out of the blue, who said he was at our home to check for moisture in the crawlspace. After his inspection, he declared that we were in dire need of a sump pump/drainage system that would cost upwards of $3,000. He then tried to pressure me into letting him install the system for a little less money, by signing a contract that day, as he stood there. I chose not to do this, because I felt that I was being manipulated. One year later, another Terminix drainage tech showed up at our house and said that if we didn't remediate the crawl space moisture immediately, insects would come calling, and we'd have a raging, mold issue to boot. This scared me, as I have a son who has asthma, so I stupidly let Terminix install the system for about $4,000. Recently, I spoke with a neighbor who had just switched from Terminix, to a pest control company that they had used for 30 years at their previous home. It turns out that Terminix had tried to pull the old you-need-a-drainage-system-in-your-crawlspace-ASAP! act on my neighbors too, but they were smart enough to get second and third opinions first. Luckily, they did get those opinions (from the other pest control company and from the builder of their home) because both of them independently stated that there was no need for a drainage system, and they were able to save the $5,000 that Terminix was trying to charge them. The last straw for me came two days ago, when I called Terminix about ants around our kitchen island. The scheduler stated that it was time for our annual inspection, and how did Monday sound (this call took place on a Weds.)? I told her that Monday would be fine for the inspection, but could a technician just drop by for a few minutes to help with the ants? She replied, 'No. The technician is only in your area on Monday.' So, I was supposed to live with ants around my kitchen island for the next five days? She stammered, 'I guess.' I thanked her and promptly called my neighbor's pest control company. Mid-contract or not,Terminix is history. Bottom Line: Before you hire Terminix, be aware that their bread and butter spiel appears to be drainage systems to alleviate crawlspace moisture, and that their customer service is non-existent. Instead, their credo is 'We'll get to you at our convenience. In the meantime, you live with the bugs.'

Their service has been excellent. They call the night before, and they let me know if there any problems. They always identify themselves at the door and let you know who they are.

They take care of the bugs. They are prompt to arrive and do the job quickly. If I have a problem with something, they will come out right away to take care of it at no charge.

When I purchased my house they had done the termite inspection for it, and that's how I contacted them. They call us and come over to do the service. They do a good job and I have been pleased with them.

I would very highly recommend their services to someone else. We will continue use them in the future.

I like their promptness. I like how they re-service and they do follow ups to make sure everything is okay. You can send a request by email.

I love them. They are great. They are always prompt and they come when they say they are going to come. If I forget they are coming which I have done in the past, they don't get all bent out of shape. They say they understand and it is not a problem and they reschedule. I make sure I am there that time. They never get bent out of shape or upset. They are really good. I haven't used anybody else. They are definitely professional.

Whatever they use works and they are easy to work with. They are very punctual. When I first moved in here I had a problem because the house was empty for a while and I could call them every week and they would come out, they were real good. They keep the promises they make.

There is nothing spectacular about them. They increase the price every year. I would use them in the future.

They are real good about the work they do. Whatever they spray outside, pretty much keeps all the insects out. One time, when we had ants we gave them a call and they came out and sprayed the inside of the house and they looked to see form where they were coming from the outside and treated that area. They did not charge extra for it. We have around 3,000 square feet area and they charge me every 3 months. They are all really professional when they come out. The price for the service in a couple of other places is a little cheaper.

We pay $270 for the whole year of service. We had damage of $1000 from pests. I was upset that I pay them to prevent this thing and it still happened. I have been using them for 20 years and I am generally happy with their service. If I wasn't happy with them I wouldn't still be using with them.

They are very professional. They do the work they say they are going to do. They do the work in a timely manner. They send me a card saying when they would come out or they call in advance to let you know. I would use them in the future.

We've used them forever. It must be twenty five years that we have been using their service. They come out once in a quarter. They are very thorough. They give you a detailed report of what they did and what they saw. We haven't had any pest problems since we've been using them.

The fee is quarterly. They just give us a call, and we put our dogs up. They come out and take care of everything. They come quietly here, and they are gone. They use pet friendly chemicals, so it would not harm our dogs. They are always responsive. They call our family if we ever need them. They are very punctual and very professional.
