Terminix - Greenville -Termite & Pest Control

They were late arriving on the initial visit. When they inserted the pods they hit the sprinkler system. Was difficult getting them to respond to my follow ups, but once they did they were able to resolve the issue.

The rep sent out was great. He was very professional and listened to all of our concerns and answered every question. He was attentive and explained everything clearly. We switched our entire pest and termite coverage to them.

We were able to schedule easily, and the person we spoke to was nice. The technician who came out had those huge rings in his ears. He wrote on the inspection report that he was not able to access the attic because the ladder was broken. There was nothing wrong with the ladder.

I set the appointment through Angie's List which connects to Terminix in Greenville for a termite inspection. They gave me a time of 1-3pm today. I called them back when nobody called or showed and was told they had my name and address and phone # but didn't have an appointment scheduled!! I already have another company quote and thought this company was professional and reliable. They are not.

Excellent! Very good about calling first and work around my schedule. Very professional and considerate of your time and even put cover over their shoes before coming in my house. They do more than what you would expect. Very courteous!

Robert (Powdersville branch of Terminix) has treated my homes for a 3+ years. He is fantastic. He delivers the type of service that everyone expects but rarely receives. Thoroughly treats property and is willing to return at the drop of a hat if needed (our current home is tucked back in the woods and we are constantly battling field ants). Fantastic service.

It has been a struggle with this company since the beginning. After we provided proof we paid the bills, they would still send notices and threaten to send us to collections. After 3 months of this, we contacted our Bank and they said they would handle it with them. We had to call them back several times because the spring tails (the reason we called to start with) were not only back but WORSE! We were told that's just how it is with spring tails. Which is not at all how it was when we used a different pest service. The last time they came, they didn't even talk to us, just rang the bell and took off. Completely unprofessional.

Every visit we have had for termite and pest control have been positive. We will continue to use their services.

Professional service rep explained services/set up installations to follow. Service tech very professional as well. My only complaint was their alternatives to extensive termite services, but no action to follow up on pest control until i called back and ask to schedule.

I have a yearly contract with them for termites and then I just signed a yearly contract with them for like bugs and mice. For the termites its 225 dollars a year and then for the bugs and mice its 300 dollars a year. I can call them and they'll be out the next day if I need them.

very helpfulIt went excellent he explained what kind of ants we had and how he was going to treat them. He told us how the bait wouldwork he was very helpful explaining everything to us and answering all of our questions. All together he was very professional and personable.

Based on the Angie's list rating we decided to use this Terminex because it is close to our home location. After the difficulty making contact with this provider using the phone numbers provided by the Angie's list information, we had to use our local phone book. PLEASE CORRECT YOUR CONTRACT INFORMATION. Once we were able to contact this provider by phone, we were not able to explain that we needed a single based service based on the fact that we have a "Palmetto Bug" or flying roach problem that needs immediate service. We have lived in our home for over 10 years and have never had a roach problem before. When we tried to explain that all we needed was someone to come out and address our immediate problem, Terminex kept deflecting the conversation back to establishing a yearly maintenance program before we could proceed with making an appointment for treatment for our "flying roach" problem. By the way, our Townhouse HOA provides yearly termite inspections and we have contacted them to confirm the pest control company they use for pest control. This has not been a very good start for our new Premium membership with Angie's List we signed up for today. This is because of incorrect contact information and hard sale practices on initial contact after having to refer to OUR LOCAL PHONE BOOK for the correct contact information. Whne my my husband called Angie's list to make them aware of the problems we were encountering, he was told we would need to complete a review, which I was doing while he was making the phone call. Now I have noticed I have the option to share this review with my "Bank of Neighbors". I don't beleve Angie's List wants this shared. I am trying to make a complaint about the both Terminex and Angie's List. This is not the service I expected to receive when I purchased your Premium membership. PLEASE NOTE NO SERVICE HAS BEEN PROVIDED DUE TO DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED. NOT IMPRESSED SO FAR!

We had ants coming into the house a couple of months ago and tried a variety of remedies to get rid of them. After limited success, we called Terminix and they came out and treated the home and since that time we have seen no ants in the house. We are having them come out quarterly to treat and are very please with the results.

Received letter in mail stating that Terminix would perform a free termite inspection of my newly purchased house. Also would provide a $100 savings if I purchased a termite plan. Scheduled appointment and the technician arrived on time. Was very courteous and professional. Performed inspection and then explained options for termite contract. Was not pushy at all. I chose a plan and the system was installed the very next day. Highly recommended.

I had a moisture problem in my crawl space as evidenced by the peppery fungus all over the floor joists. I did not have an issue with runoff or standing water under the house. I placed a relative humidity monitor in the crawl space and was sometimes reading over 90% during the warm months. I was conflicted for years over whether or not to take the financial hit of encapsulation. Especially because even though my relative humidity was high, some service companies would tell me the moisture in the wood was at an acceptable level. But, being able to see the mold growth with my own eyes, I decided to bite the bullet and have something done. Years before, I installed a brand new vapor barrier myself and it did help some, but not enough. I already use Terminix for termite protection, and every year when they do their crawl space inspection they remind me that I need to do something about the moisture problem. They, of course, recommended their Humidi-Seal product. I got the details of their service, along with quotes from two other companies. One company suggested I needed a sump pump along with everything else, but I didn't believe that based on what I'd seen myself under the house, so that company lost some credibility. The other company offered basically the same product/service as Terminix. Ultimately I chose Terminix for two reasons: 1. The price was a couple hundred dollars less than the other guy. 2. And more importantly, my contact point for the whole process was super responsive to all my questions. I asked lots of questions before, during, and after the service and he was always courteous, nice, and prompt. I've dealt with a lot of contractors and know the feeling of being "sold" something when you don't need it. I didn't have that feeling in this case. But I warned him that I am the type of person that isn't afraid to get dirty and will get under the house to inspect the work and it better be a bang-up job considering the money I'm putting into it. He assured me he would make sure it was top-notch, and that an additional Quality Assurance inspection would occur after the install. The product/service involved removing the current vapor barrier, removing any other debris and leveling the ground if needed, installing a new vapor barrier that extended up the walls and piers (it was fastened to the walls leaving enough space for pest inspections and was also taped at all seams), covering and sealing the vents, installing a Sante Fe Advance 2 dehumidifier along with a pump (this included the electrician to come and wire it up) and wireless humidity monitor. In addition, Terminix will inspect and replace the filters each year. Overall I am satisfied with the product/service. There were a few bumps in the install, however. The crew did not remove all the debris before they installed the new vapor barrier. So, when I went under the house the first time I crawled on some brick fragments underneath the barrier. Although not a huge deal, they could puncture the barrier. But more importantly, it didn't give me a great feeling that they were doing a thorough job, but maybe rushed it a bit. Another issue was with the vapor barrier in a couple places were not installed to my satisfaction. I have a weird place in my crawl space that is too hard to explain, but they didn't cover it how I would have. I expressed all my concerns to my contact person and everything was fixed and taken care of almost immediately. In addition, I emailed him again with a couple questions a month after the service, and he again responded promptly with answers. As for the dehumidifier, my biggest concern was that it would be loud. Fortunately that is not the case. In fact, I went under the house myself just to make sure it was working. It is much bigger than I expected, but the guys did a good job of setting it up. There is a pvc pipe used to pump the water out of the crawlspace. I may extend this pipe myself just to get the water further from the house. So far the RH has been kept around 50% since the install. I am curious to see how it handles the summer months. I have been told that you can tell when the peppery looking fungus is active because if you rub your finger over it it will smear. If it's not active, it should not smear. I would assume that over time the fungus should not smear anymore. I don't know how long this will take, but I think this will be the ultimate indicator of whether or not the investment was worth it. Otherwise, how do I really know that reducing the humidity is fixing anything?

Service technicians arrived promptly and treated both the inside and outside of my home. One treated inside and the other treated outside. They were polite and efficient. I had been having a problem with ants about a year ago and started using Terminix and have not had a problem since.

Jason is our service pro and he is awesome. He's got a great demeanor and rapport with us. We have been very pleased with how quickly Terminix responds. We just had a small infiltration of ants and he came by on a day's notice. These guys are busy and the reason is they put customer service first.

They do a good job. They do their job and they call me to schedule appointments and pretty much if when they are needed. There’s nothing really spectacular about them. I don’t have any problems with them.

I had seen termite activity in my yard, so it was time to protect my house! Called Terminix as had used them at a previous address. Agent came by with all the leaflets to give me 'the talk', but I'd heard it before, so just got down to business of a quote, then inspecting my property for any activity in the house. Very pleasant and professional. 3 days later, a tech came by to install bait stations. Did a good job.

Crawl space encapsulation. |Best thing I ever did to dry out crawl space. Bonus is it also stays warmer. Left space at top of the wall so there are no issues about termite inspections. Pricy, but worth it.

They come out every two or three months. They have been very good and if we ever have bugs or anything after they come we can call them and they will come out to re-spray or check out what might be causing them to come in. They are very professional when they do come in. I have never had a problem with any of the workers there and their prices are reasonable.

They have been very great and it has worked out well. There work is very thorough. They are always on top of scheduling and very accommodating with that as well. I have been using them for over a year now.
