I don't think that I will ever use another window treatment company and I'll definitely be recommending these guys to everyone I know! We are so pleased with our new blinds at my workplace! William Patterson and Rob Mangham were so wonderful when they came to install our at our office. We only had a few windows that needed treatments, but they treated our job like it was the most important thing around. They were incredibly kind and careful while they worked. The installation process was quick and easy and the window treatments are installed perfectly. I will absolutely be using Southern Traditions Window Fashions to install window treatments at my home next!

Southern Traditions did a great job installing new custom built shutters on my new home. They were the easiest to work with from (Richard) in sales to (rob and William) install. They worked efficiently and did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend their services.

Brian and Eric were great. They were on time, did their work quickly and neatly, and thoroughly explained the operation of the shade system before leaving.

The process went very well, not only from the professionalism of Lynn Osbourne, but the installation and there weren't any surprise costs!!

Julie Stolte visited us and walked through our home to discuss options for window treatments. Julie was knowledgeable and listened to our needs. The entire process went as she explained. We had shutters installed on the outside of the window. Installers were professional and did an outstanding job with no issues. Just understand it takes about 6-7 weeks to have these custom made, but I would work with this company again. We received a high-quality product at a fantastic price and anytime we called to follow-up, responses were quick. A+ company.

laEverything went smoothly, until 2 weeks afterward I discovered 3 (THREE) trays of jewelry missing. And since they were the only non family people in the house since then , being my 70 year old daughter.......I came to only one conclusion......They were in a VERY big hurry to leave...to go to another job they said. If I were stupid enough to hire them again,,,I would follow them like a shadow.

It went okay. There were no additional costs. There were little details they had to come out and then they forgot me or something like that but they did a good job and I'll use them again.

Great service on design/ consulting side and the installers were prompt, courteous and kept my house clean! Easy to work with... shutters came in within the time frame quoted and installation was quick and easy.

The salesperson suggested Sillouette shades for our dining room - they turned out Great - we love them and would not have known if she had not suggested! We also went with a Luminette for the Master bedroom - it was pricy - But she was correct - they are gorgeous and do exactly what we were told with room darkening. The color she chose was perfect. We had had Plantation shutters in our other homes and loved them - with the style of our house we thought they would be perfect. When they came in we were surprised with the width of them being outside mounts - we had only had inside mounts so there was a major difference. We were very disappointed in the look - so Southern Traditions worked with us / cut them down ( a lot of extra work for them) But they made them perfect. The owners professionalism was the best - the installers were wonderful / what a wonderful company. They definitely work to make the customer happy.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a company. From my first initiation, I was treated with respect and courtesy. They responded very quickly to my inquiry, and Lynn, who came out to my home to see how she could help was absolutely great. She took the time to listen to me and determine the best solution for me - and she worked to get me the best value for my money. After I placed the order, it took about 2 weeks for the blinds to come in. The two men who came to install them were also very professional; they worked quickly and cleaned up after. They even took my old blinds to dispose of. I could not be happier and would highly recommend Southern Traditions to anyone who is looking for interior design work.

Southern Traditions did excellent work! The consultant was very helpful. She helped us understand the different options and choose what fit our desires and windows the best. The installer did a great job also! He was very courteous and professional. The shutters look awesome! We will be using them again.

I would definitely recommend Southern Traditions. Our neighbors were so impressed with the look of our blinds and the service that we received that they asked for the company contact information. They had not been happy with their original window treatment installer, and Matt Cobb was able to follow up with them and give them options that they liked. Since then, the word has spread in our neighborhood, and we have had several people ask for their contact information. We feel that the price and options available at Southern Traditions are unbeatable. They have also provided great follow-up to make sure that we are happy with our purchase and install. They are also willing to travel all the way to our neighborhood, which is a little distance from Greenville, SC. It has been over three years since we moved into our new home, and our blinds and roman shade still look great.

I called and left a message and Matt contacted me and made an appointment to meet with us regarding window shades and possible draperies/top treatments. He spent a lot of time explaining the types of shades and gave us recommendations. He also had swatches available for us to pick out top treatments. He wrote out a quote and I called him a couple of weeks later to order the shades and possibly the top treatments. He was to have Fed-Exed me samples of the fabrics but I never received them so I couldn't be sure that I wanted them. He offered to send them again and I agreed but I still didn't get them as promised and had to call back. I did eventually get the samples and at that point decided to just go ahead with the shades only. The shades were installed 3 weeks from the order date as promised. The installers were on time, friendly and professional and so far we are happy with the shades. I gave a B for responsiveness only because of the mix up with the fabrics.

Excellent time spent detailing exactly what we needed and wanted. It took some time before all the curtains were made, but it was worth it....when they came to install them they were professional and nice and everything looked awesome!

One of the most timely, efficient, customer service oriented companies I have had the pleasure of working with. I am a designer and am so confident when recommending their products and services.

The experience was positive. They came when they said they were going to come. Things were not exactly uniform so the technician was trying to fix the door with a screwdriver where the plantation shutter would fit around the handle. He ended up having to make a new door, but was hoping I would be okay with a gouged out door he had tried to make. I don't know if I would use them again because I did not feel like the quality was good. The price was pretty good, but they did not do the best installation job.

Richard came to the house within a week after my setting up the appointment. He discussed various options with me and provided me with examples from his sample books. He helped me select a valance and fabric for my great room windows that would complement my decor and perfectly accent the silhouette blinds we'd decided on. He was very thorough and patient with me as I had to made decisions on four of my kitchen windows as well as the dining room, den, great room, french doors, and bedroom-- 14 windows in all. He was particularly helpful in pointing me to room darkening shades for the bedroom. It took about three weeks for the window treatments to arrive, and Barry, the installer, arrived promptly as scheduled. He was very professional and meticulous during the installation of the blinds, shades, and valences. He also installed some curtains in my bedroom that I had brought with me from my home in Virginia. When the work was completed he showed me how the blinds operated. He was unable to complete installation of the blinds on the french doors because he said it would look much better if he had certain spacers. He ordered them for me and the blinds were installed a few weeks later. Overall I am very happy with the entire process. Richard was terrific with his advice and attention to detail, and Barry completed the installation perfectly. I'd say Southern Traditions has exceeded my expectations as the window treatments have created just the atmosphere that I was looking for in these rooms.

Richard came out to give us an estimate within a couple of days of my phone call. He spent a great deal of time explaining the quality materials used to build the shutters and then measured for them. Once installed, I was very pleased with how well built they are and how well they keep light out of the bedroom at night.

Installers arrived on time and completed the job in 1 1/2 hrs. They also made sure we were satisfied with look etc. even professional.

How did it go? Everything went smoothly; I had a great experience. Everyone I have interacted with at Southern Traditions is kind and practical. I was nervous at first because I thought custom blinds would be really expensive, but I decided to let them come out and see what they would say. The day Matt and Karen came out to measure was the day my new appliances were being delivered. There was such a huge contrast between the other contractors and Southern Traditions. The appliance delivery guys had trouble getting the refrigerator into the kitchen, and another contractor was trying to help them figure it out. These other contractors were trying to solve the problem, but they did so in such a way that I was left wringing my hands. Matt and Karen were so calm and gracious, and I felt perfectly comfortable with them. I knew I could trust them to take good care of my windows. Matt knew that I was on a budget, and he knew that I was under stress that day, so he advised me to to wait on selecting coverings for the glass doors in the back. So we focused on the windows where privacy was a big concern, and where there were simple, affordable options. I appreciated that, because other salesmen might have pushed me into something, and I really think I might have regretted the choice later. Now that the urgent privacy concerns are handled, I can make bigger decisions about the door coverings later when I have the time and budget. When I got the estimate, I was pleasantly surprised by the price. I think if I had purchased blinds from a big box store they would have cost almost that much, but store blinds wouldn't be custom fit and I would have to install them myself. It was nice to see samples in my home and have advice from a color consultant. One of their color recommendations was something I never would have thought of but it works great with my wood trim. Since I waited so long to call them, I wanted to move in before the custom blinds could arrive. Karen brought temporary shades to my house on moving day (a rainy Saturday!) so that we could have privacy until the custom blinds arrived. When the blinds arrived Sandy called and scheduled the installation. I had to work that day, so I stayed just long enough to meet Joe and make sure he had everything he needed. After I met him, I was perfectly comfortable leaving him at the house. He put a mat down in the front entry way to keep everything clean, walked around the house with me to make sure he knew where everything was, and then got started. He seemed to be working quickly and methodically. I left a few minutes later and came back that night to beautifully installed blinds! Everyone at Southern Traditions seems eager to please, so interacting with them was a pleasure. The new blinds look great and I couldn't be happier.

We were not charged for services because they installed our blinds for us and it is guaranteed for life, even though it is because our dog has jumped up on the blinds and shutters and knocked it down. He is very gracious and always so glad to see us and so nice about it. He will not take one dime to fix the shutters. They were installed in 2003 and we have had them for 10 years. They stand behind their product no matter who is at fault.

Cheri and David from Southern Traditions Window Fashions came to my home and showed me and my husband thier selection of window shades and blinds. After my husband and I picked out what we wanted installed they measured my windows, and ordered the shades. Two weeks later the shades arrived from the manufacturers. Cheri called and set up a time for the installers to put my shades up. The installers arrived on time. They put up all the shades and adjusted them. They also showed me how to take the shades down and back up in case I needed to work on the windows or change the shades out. The final bill matched the estimate exactly. They were very professional and have a large selection of quality products. I would recommend this company and I would use them again.
