Good experience.

They were very responsive to our call, and came back to fix the roof when they said they would come. They were prompt, explained everything they did, and left the site in good order. We have had a leak in our dining room/garage for years - thought we had fixed it twice, but it always leaked again. We were worried about mold, but Findlay Roofing explained the problem to us, let us know what to look for with respect to mold damage and fixed the leak. All in all, an excellent experience.

New roof on house and garage. Chose them because of good reviews on Angie's List, and additional good recommendation from friend. Was not the cheapest of 3 quotes, but $500 Angie's List coupon made the difference. Plus they accept credit card payments, which helped me a lot. Took them a full day till dark to get it on, and they got back the next day to clean up around the house. Professional crew, nice sales rep. Only negative point: wish they had replaced more of the plywood on places that had leaked before. Overall very happy with the job.

showed up late for scheduled appointment. Tried to push sale on gutters as well. Stated would have estimate within 2 days. Had to call twice over next week to get e-mail and price for same work bid by 2 other companies. Estimate came in at 50% higher than other bids.

I am selling my house in Asheville, NC and I live in Florida. The inspection report revealed some issues with the roof. I was unable to locate any local contractor or roofer who was willing to give me an estimate on short notice. This company is in South Carolina; however, they were willing to quickly get someone out to give me an estimate on the repairs. I ultimately found a local contractor in Asheville but their efforts should be rewarded. Thank you.

Oh, my. This company surprised us and far surpassed our needs! Their estimate/cost beat all others. Matt was our go-to guy with the company. He had an infinite amount of patience over the weeks it took us to decide on what shingles to use, etc. He took as much time with us as we needed, got us information, estimates and samples to help us make our decisions. He was almost always available by phone or would promptly return our calls should we have to leave a message. His crew was impeccable; worked tirelessly from early am until after dark to handle all of the details involved in re-roofing our lake house. They were professional, polite, knowledgeable craftsmen who were meticulous about all of the important details associated with the project. They understood our concerns about high winds coming off the lake, in terms of making sure shingles were securely and properly installed. The new roof was/is a masterpiece! The flashing around the chimney a work of art. I kid you not. And oh yea, they do insulation, and that job was done equally well!

Originally, I was contacted by a representative of a gutter & gutter guard replacement company. I went to Angie's List to check on his business. The business had a bad record so I decided to search the List to get a excellently rated company instead. Roof Roof was that company. Greg Freeze, the customer liaison, came out, listened to my concerns, and crunched the numbers. I was amazed that Roof Roof could get all 4 of my desired projects done for the same price the first company had quoted for just the gutters and gutter guards alone. When I chose Roof Roof, they told me it would take several days to get it all done, because different teams would be working on the various jobs. They worked around my schedule and came when they said they would. After each project was done, they would call to make sure I was satisfied. If I had a question, I could call and get an answer back very quickly. They were very prompt at addressing my concerns. I also appreciated that they did not pressure me to pay for the work until I was pleased with everything. Roof Roof is a very professional operation and I highly recommend them. I would definitely call on them again, if I needed other projects done. Thanks again to Angie's List for leading me to a company with high standards and nice folks who do their job with quality and professionalism.

Allison, in the office, is so easy to work with. She called several times to make sure everything was going smoothly and even called one evening from home. That's not the norm anymore. Fred, the consultant, did the same. He spent time answering all my questions & led me through the process. He also followed up when I didn't expect it and goes above and beyond what you'd expect. The crew was prompt, friendly, worked constantly and did an excellent job of cleaning up. You'd never know they'd been here! The roof was completed in one day. All involved are VERY dedicated to their jobs and it shows in the end result! They aim to please!

Did a fabulous job! We'd gotten several estimates, but Findlay was the only contractor that recommended replacing the boots around the skylights, which says something about their competence and thoroughness. The crew showed up when they said they would and finished the roof in a single day, including replacing some bad sheathing. And they did a thorough job of cleaning up afterward, including all the nails they pulled out when tearing off the old roof. Our new roof looks great. I'd definitely recommend them!

I can't really recall because I had about 8 quotes. I remember that they were in there but I don't really remember any specifics. They came back with the quote in a timely manner. They did come out to the house and were punctual in coming.

It is an old house so they replaced everything. They gave me some options and I consulted with others and picked from their options. It is a family company and they seemed to be the most professional. I called several companies but they were the best in responding and giving me details. They did clean up the mess as well.

They were referred to us by our neighbor who was satisfied with them. They were very professional. The pricing was good. The representative they were dealing with was easy to deal with and they did a great job, on time with no problems.

The whole experience went flawless. It took 3 full days to do my roof. At the end of each day, the entire was cleaned to the point that I couldn't tell anyone was doing any type of work at my home. Their estimate came in $1000 less than other quotes, and the $600.00 Angies list was definitely a plus.

We had a hail storm a few years ago, and my normal roofer was swamped with work. I had them come out and do an estimate, they offered two types of shingles- we purchased the long term shingles. They came out about 4 days later and completed the job in a single day, changed the roofing pattern to reduce the tempurat in the attic. They did a phenomenal job. They left our decks cleaner than when they arrived. We had had a leak previously, and I had to do about $1,000 worth of sealing work. We had a downpour, and I went to the attic to look at the leak, I called Findlay and they went up to the attic, found the leak, repaired it within an hour and were gone. I was very impressed. The leak was finished completely.

The service was good. The roof is not leaking. They mostly came when they said they would. They were professional and the price was fair.

The best experience I've had with a roofer. After putting-up with a leak for over five yrs., and having numerous "roofer's" out to take a look at the issues, only Findlay Roofing would take the job and do it right.

Matt Cheney is very professional. He was always here when he said he would be and carefully took care of each step. He has a calm manner and is not pushy. Our insurance adjuster set up a Saturday meeting and Matt came and waited two hours on him. We believe that his knowledge and personality was very beneficial in this meeting. The crew arrived early and worked until dark. It was a two day project. All on the roofing crew were very hard workers and very polite. Of course, the job was very messy but they took extreme care in clean-up. Everything looked great when they left. We would highly recommend Matt to anyone needing roofing assistance. We also dealt with his Office Manager Alison and she was extremely helpful and professional. Truly. . .you ould not ask for more.

Called Findlay on a recommendation from a building contractor. Called and requested an estimate to fix a leak around the chimney. Without calling or letting us know in some manner, apparently a person showed up at 7:20 pm on Monday to look to what needed to be done. Had no idea they were coming to the house. We were not home at the time. We called the next morning. The person on the phone was very apologetic and tried to be helpful. She told us the person to do the estimate had come by and would have that person call us. The estimator called and we set a time for "sometime after 5:00" that afternoon. The person was a no-show. Have received no call or follow up. Things happen and hope the estimator is OK but we have found someone else to do the work.

Prompt delivery of materials to my house, although, there was a different brand of ridge vent than what was quoted. With the delay in the arrival of the installation crew, there was time to change the ridge vents before installation. The installation crew scraped paint off of my house that had been on only two months. There was never any communication initiated by the roofing company after the installation. I had to initiate and ask for a followup inspection to talk about the paint damage. They never met with me about this issue until 6 weeks later when the accounts receivable person at their office realized that I had not paid my second installment. After the first big rain, I found a leak where my attached screened in porch attaches to my house. They came the same day with a tarp that was too small, and they nailed it to my wall and through their new shingles. There was also a few new chipped areas removed from my siding. Their first fix was to put putty and caulk over the nail heads in the new shingles. After stating that I did not like that fix, they told me that they would come and replace the shingles. Their second fix was to remove the nails and fill in the holes with putty and caulking. One month later after they put nails through their new shingles, the problem is not yet resolved. Finally, the fifth week after, they have replaced the shingles.

They were very professional. Their prices were competitive.
