TILE BY CHRIS

This is our second project with Chris and we will absolutely use him again. He is one of the most professional and reliable contractors we have ever worked with. He does exactly what he says he will do. He is funny and pleasant to be around and his work is impeccable. So happy to have found him on Angie’s List.

Chris and his staff did an excellent job laying the kitchen tile. The clean up and replacement of moldings were also excellent. Chris was there throughout the process. He really listens to his clients.

Chris and one assistant did all the work themselves. The tile work is absolutely beautiful, the best I've ever seen. Everyone who has seen the completed kitchen and bathrooms has been wowed. All the work was completed on time and without issue. Chris is highly professional and personable, and he helped with several other repairs without charge. I would recommend him without hesitation.

It went very well. Chris was extremely helpful in the design phase and he did a very professional job with installing stone around the fireplace. The stone goes from the floor to the 9’ ceiling. He was neat, cleaned up the inside area as well as his outside workspace. He is a verrrrry class act and we will have him again when the occasion arises. He also did our kitchen backsplaces several years ago!

I can't recommend Chris highly enough. He's responsive and helpful and gave me great advice regarding tile and grout options. He and his colleague worked quickly and were extremely respectful of my home. I have a couple of bathrooms that need re-tiled and I'll definitely be calling Tile by Chris for that.

Chris did an awesome job with our backsplash. He’s very knowledgeable and super friendly as well. He’s great!!! We’re hoping to replace our floors this year and will definitely be calling Chris again!!

Chris was very punctual, even called to let me know he was going to be 5 minutes late for first visit. He went out of his way to protect our wood floors outside the laundry room and contain the dust during the removal of the old tile floor. He also installed the new laundry room sink/cabinet in order to install the backsplash and finish the job. Excellent communication and job well done.

Chris did a fantastic job. His 30 years of experience really shows- he knows what to do and how to make it right. My older home needed TLC- and Chris was the person for the job. He advised me on tile types and sent me to a wholesale tile center. We tiled one upstairs bath and the laundry/hall/half bath downstairs. We are thrilled.

Chris is a great guy and quite a character. He wants everything to be excellent when he leaves. I think problems keep him up at night. He went above and beyond what was asked of him. I did some of the demo work and broke a drain pipe in doing so. He fixed it at no charge. He saw in our kitchen below the master bath that there had been a leak, he determined it might be the other bathroom toilet. He was right and fixed it at no charge. During demo it was discovered there was a pipe installed above the floor instead of under and again he just fixed it no charge. He hates problems even not related to his work. We found out late that our tile was back ordered and would hold him up. He did what he could, demo'ing, adding wall board, getting the shower floor ready and then went to another job until we were ready. He was very flexible. The work was great by the way. Another thing is he has great support whether its glass shower, cabinet tops, etc. I ordered those type things myself. I listened to Chris's recommendations on potential firms to use, I did some of my own investigation but ended up using the people he recommended and they were great. He has a ton of experience, knows the right way to do things and has alot of this down to a science.

Chris was punctual and even showed up on weekends to get the job done. He was very good with communication and respectful about keeping the work area clean and tidying up before leaving each day. We are very pleased with the quality of his work and are very happy with the finished product! We will definitely call him for future projects!

Wonderful! That's the bottom line up front. I purchased handmade tiles for a backsplash and hunted for an installer. Five interviews later I decided on Chris DeMeo and I'm glad I did. Chris knew how to install the tile (30 years of experience will do that). What I appreciated most was his knowlege on how best to seal/manage/live with the tile. He took care of everything start-to-finish. I only supplied the tile itself. I thought that moving an electrical outlet, to give the area a cleaner look, might be a good idea. Chris put me in touch with a certified electrician to help me decide. For the installation itself, Chris brought grout color samples for me to choose from; sealed the individual tiles (a must, he said, as they have a crackle finish and would be susceptible to staining when used in a cooking area); completed installation and put two more layers of sealant on for good measure. Work areas were kept clean; all tile cutting was done outside and there was not much waste of material. Downside to such efficiency is I'm now stuck with three unused boxes of Beautiful tiles! Overall, I couldn't be happier with the finished product by Tile By Chris.

Chris went beyond what we asked him to do. Practically built a whole new floor, made it stable and waterproof (laundry room) . Turned out beautifully ! High quality work at affordable price. I would definitely hire him again

Great! Chris was very professional and helpful through the process; demo - which we discovered an external leak we wouldn’t have otherwise known about ; design - met us at the tile shop to help us pick tile, accent and grout; installation - recommending patterns/niche size and making sure we had no issues. Even cleaned and sealed grout in another of our bathrooms! Will definitely have him back for additional work in the future. Thanks Chris!

We contacted Chris per recommendation of co-worker. Chris responded quickly and was flexible in scheduling service. The service was completed promptly and efficiently. The service has lifetime guarantee. We will use Chris for all future tile needs.

Chris did an excellent job with our bathroom renovation from the tile work to the plumbing and all other details. He did a complete renovation for us from demolition of the old bathroom down to bare walls and installation of a complete finished new bathroom with tile shower and floors His work is of excellent quality with care for all details. He was pleasant to work with, flexible with any requests, neat, clean,on time, and caring for our home.All work was done in a professional manner and we are truly pleased with the result. Finding a quality fair priced honest contractor is not easy and in this respect Chris is "Gem" of a find.

I had a white subway tile back splash installed by Chris this past summer 2018. Chris had good reviews here on Angie's List, but you never know. Anyhow, he exceeded my expectations. He was available to give a quote quickly - he came over the next day. I had some of the materials. This was not a problem for him, after measuring, he told me exactly what else I would need to obtain if I hired him. His pricing was fair, and he said he could do the job when I needed it to be done - it was time sensitive. He seemed like someone willing to cooperate, not push an agenda. He seemed like a no nonsense, hardworking guy. I hired him. He showed up when expected. He completed the job in a timely and professional manner, as should generally be expected. He also assisted me in hiding the fact that this job was getting done from my wife. Wow, was she surprised when Chris and I called her when he was finishing up and told her the tile job was done! Thanks Chris. The results look fabulous! If I need any tiling work done, I'm not even going to think twice, I'm just going to call Chris.

Great. Chris keep me informed every step of the job and told me early there could be an issue with the levelness of the floor. There were no surprises when we learned one corner of the room needed to be raised and Chris only charged me for the materials. We are delighted with the new floor and it has really changed the room. My only regret is I bought too much tile and did not have another room for Chris to do. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasure working with Chris. I was happy with the estimate and thought the pricing was very fair. I ordered the tile and since I was working with him I was given a discount at the tile store which was a nice surprise. When the tile came in I was told it was over 200 lbs in a few boxes. I was talking with Chris and was concerned about transporting that weight without help(getting over a severe shoulder injury) and he actually offered to pick up the tile and deliver it to my home. We set up an appointment. He arrived very promptly and showed me exactly how the tile would be laid and asked if I had any questions or concerns. The tile looks great and he said he would seal it yearly at no additional charge. He is extremely concerned with his tile reputation and it is pleasing to see someone take such pride in his craftsmanship. I highly recommend Chris and trust you will have a similar experience

Chris was the only tile contractor to call me back. He showed up when he said he would and did the work in a timely manner. One of the neatest contractors I know- takes alot of care with drop cloths everywhere and cleans up every day before he leaves. He was super reasonable for quality work!

Chris is a true businessman who is great to deal with and understands what needs to be done. His workmanship is excellent, and it is clear he takes pride in doing great work. He will absolutely be the only tile installer i will use in the future.

Called and spoke with Chris. He setup a time to meet at my house to quote a tile job. He scheduled the time for 1015 this morning. I left church early to make sure I was here when he arrived. He never showed up. I waited until 11 am, and then called him to see if he was tied up somewhere, NO ANSWER and no return call. If you don't want to take the job, don't schedule a time to meet with me and then fail to show up or notify me. Unprofessional.

Excellent! Above and beyond my expectations. After he removed the shower floor tiles he found that the floor basin was not cemented properly. He fixed that first without charging me more .He recaulked wall tiles. He actually had his assistant peel each stone off the tile sheet and place into a huge bucket so he could lay them tighter and in a uniform design. I was amazed that he took the extra time and effort. He was like an artist working . He came back several times after tile dried. Sealed the tile and said he would come back every year after to reseal as long as we still live in the house. I asked him to do a few other things like sand the shower seat. He did with no problem and without charging me more. Totally professional and excellent communication. His work was great so we contracted him to do more work for us. He is power washing all upper flagstone patio and sealing, power washing pool deck and painting deck, fixing outdoor hose faucet as well as my laundry room sink faucet. I will be keeping his # handy. I already gave his information to several neighbors👍🏻
