It went great! We are so proud of our back splash. He was on time and very professional. Unlike most, he took the time to answer all our questions and explain in detail what was going to happen. We had our own ideas of what we thought would look good after spending numerous hours investigating designs, etc. He very quickly brought to our attention that some of the ideas that we had in mind for it might not be the best route to take. We are so glad he did because he was absolutely on the money. What we had picked out to do would not have been the correct avenue to take. He is very hands on and does an excellent job of supervising his workers. He is very meticulous with laying out the design. We had no idea of the process involved in putting in a granite kitchen with a back splash. It is a process! He made it all go so smoothly. He is a man of his word and he makes good on his promise. He was willing to go beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy with the outcome. Today, he came by to put on the final sealer on the back splash. Folks, we have a beautiful back splash and we owe it all to Chris Demo. He walked us through step by step on how to maintain the finish and what products to use to keep its luster. He even comes back every year to put on the sealer at NO CHARGE to the customer. You sure don't find anything free out there anymore! We highly recommend Chris Demo for your next kitchen makeover. You will be so happy you chose him when all is said and done.

It did not go.

I was very pleased with Chris and his team. He was working at a house next door to me and did their tile work. I went over and saw the work they had done and was pleased with what he had done so I hired him to do ours. I am very cautious and want to know everything that is going to be done, and how it will be done, so I asked Chris a lot of questions. He never seemed upset with me, and was able to answer all my questions. He educated us as what to do and what not to do (where to end the tiles). He had one guy install the tile in about a day. The following work day (Monday) he came back to grout it. The entire time there were mats on the floor to protect the floor. The following day he came in and sealed the tile. He says he has a lifetime warranty and you can call him up and he will come and seal the tile each year for free, and fix any grout issues. I enjoyed working with Chris and will probably have him do my fireplace surround in the coming year.

Chris is awesome. He did an incredible job on our natural stone kitchen backsplash. He provided us with suggestions which enhanced our basic idea greatly. He was so punctual, great communicator, polite, funny, and reasonable for the excellent quality of work which he performed. We would definitely use him again for any tile work projects. He is already going on a neighbor's estimate this week for bathroom re-dos after they met him and saw his superior worksmanship.

It went okay. They did not finish at the committed time. They told me it would be 3 weeks and they finished in a month and a half. I had some issues with responsive. They would tell me they will come the next day and they would not show up. It seems they had some other work. It was frustrating but overall they did a good job.

Chris was excellent to work with. Very professional and great value for the work they did. He scheduled my job quickly, showed up on time and cleaned up after. I will use this company again

They first came and put the tile in place. Then they came back and sealed it about a week later. The cost was bundled in with the granite. They were very personable. They were efficient and clean. They were here when they said they would be here. It didn’t take them very long for them to do what they needed to do. They were pretty hardworking. The price was very fair.

Crew came at scheduled time and were very professional both with customer service and with the work performed. Installed tile one day, cleaned up all areas and returned this morning to grout tile. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and price. Would certainly refer to friends and use again if needed.

Chris was very responsive and punctual from the very first contact. He not only gave us very competitive estimate on the cost of the work, but also helped to choose the color and find provider of the tile we had in mind. He started the project within a week of us getting the tile and he explained all steps clearly. Chris discovered a flaw that our countertop installer (another company, not on Angie's list) had left before them and was able to adjust my counter on the end cabinet to be in-line with the rest of the wall (it was installed lower). The backsplash looks great and works perfectly with the rest of my kitchen - counters and floor tile. We are absolutely happy with Chris and his assistant's attention to detail, standing by their work and following up with us to ensure we were happy with the results. Great workmanship and communication skills. Will be happy to recommend this company to our friends.

Chris was very professional, helpful, punctual and just a great guy to work with on this project. He is very creative and offers suggestions on design, tile to select and even where to purchase. I was impressed with his work and most important he was easy to work with throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Chris for any tile job you are planning to do!! Note: Price included labor and materials for a medium sized (35sq ft) kitchen backsplash, so it will vary project to project, but pricing was fair!

In the middle of our kitchen renovation it was necessary, for many reasons, to cancel the backsplash contract with another company. We had already picked out a tile design with a local distributor and they provided us with Chris' name. We contacted him and within two days he was at our home for a consultation and a job estimate. Chris was more than able to address our needs and completed the work within three weeks of our initial contact. He did a professional job and we are highly satisfied with his work. We highly recommend him.

It was excellent. They were $15,000 better than the next closest bid.

Overall quality was excellent and Chris and his crew were very accommodating. They took special care to cover carpeting and wood flooring so as not to track dirt/mud/etc. into our home as they cut tile.

We've definitely learned our lesson about only using service providers we can vouch for via Angie's List (which this company wasn't). We went with the company based on a recommendation from the tile shop where we purchased materials and our overall experience was disappointing. From start to finish, the contractor would tell us something (what time he'd show up, that he would do the work, not subs, that he would fix problems) and he consistently did not do what he would say. The job took double the days he estimated in his quote. From our perspective that delay was due to his rate of work, not unexpected developments. They damaged walls in our kitchen, bath and laundry room (and also scratched our new washing machine). They left grout in all the corners, so you see the grout extending out past the shoe molding. They did not use spacers when laying the floor (I don't know if that common among professionals) and the grout lines between the slate are uneven (1/8 inches in some place, 1/4 or 1/16 in others). The quality of the backsplash work is poor, lines between tiles are uneven, some sections of tile extend out from the wall more than others and the overall look of the backsplash is uneven and not uniform. They did not use a particular sealant we had purchased (because he recommended another) but they did not return the sealant to us, so we could return it to the store for a refund ($50). Again, from our perspective, he was most interested in rushing through the job, just getting the work done, without a focus on doing a quality job and/or proving a great customer experience. His price was lower than other estimates we obtained, but we think that proves the adage that "you get what you pay for." We definitely do NOT recommend using this contractor.
