Description of Work: Glenn, the owner and service provider called me the morning of our appointment to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, introduced himself, and got down to business. I found Kellar HVAC in one of the big deals for gas log fireplace cleaning for $89. He made sure that the hearth and surrounding area was covered before starting his work. He dismantled the gas logs for cleaning and did the job outside. He cleaned the inside of the fireplace, as well as did an inspection to be sure the pilot light was working properly and no gas leaks were present. He found that my fuel regulator was leaking a little. He gave me the option of replacing it with a new one. He was honest in telling me that the little bit of gas was evaporating up my chimney, so it wasn't life or death. I am still considering whether or not to replace it due to the cost, but I am grateful that he discovered the situation at hand. He replaced the nice clean logs (that hadn't been cleaned in 19 years!), re-lit the pilot light to start the fireplace to be sure that everything was working properly. He noticed that the fire wasn't burning evenly, and stirred the "ashes" to make it a more even burn. I couldn't believe how much nicer it looked after he made that adjustment. I've been using the fireplace all these years and never knew that a small adjustment could add so much more ambiance, thanks to Glenn! Also, not a speck of dust or dirt on anything when the job was finished. I am enjoying my clean fireplace that looks as good as new. I highly recommend Kellar HVAC for this service to anyone who is looking to have their fireplace cleaned. You won't be disappointed!

Description of Work: Mr. Keller arrived promptly and was very professional. The task was to clean and service a gas fireplace unit which had not been used in a long time. He did these things but it turned out the unit is broken and not worth trying to repair. He offered to apply his fee for this visit to installation if we decide to buy a new one. Very satisfied and would use him again.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal with this provider for $129 for a Gas Log Fireplace Tune-Up, Cleaning, and Inspection, but they were not able to do the type of work that I needed done, so I had to cancel the deal.
