Our AC unit went out on July 2nd. We called several companies that told us they wouldn't be able to look at our unit until the following week. Keller's owner Glenn came out that evening and determined that the compressor was done. Within a few hours Keller provided several options. We made the decision to replace the unit and Keller had a crew onsite at 8am on July 4th. We were thrilled they were able to order a unit and have a crew servicing clients on the 4th! Glenn Keller diagnosed it had a bad controller board. It was one that had to be ordered. Later that same day than and Justin installed the board. Great Service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

Disappointed. I called Keller Heating and Air due to my Carrier A/C unit tripping the breaker twice within the last 10 days. When they arrived, I was told that I could probably get another 3-5 years of use out of my 20-year old unit. They recommended that I have something called "AC Renew" added to help lubricate and prolong the unit. They also added a half pound of freon as well. However, shortly after they left I began to have breathing problems when the air was turned back on (along with slight dizziness, fatigue, irritation and hoarseness in my throat, etc.). I had to turn the air off in order to breathe and I had to go outside to get some fresh air. This had never happened before in the 36 years I have lived in the house. I called Keller back and told them I was now having breathing problems after they left. However, they stated that nothing they did would have caused this. I waited over an hour and turned the air back on and still had problems breathing. I then called a neighbor over who is a contractor over and he said he felt the same thing in his lungs after being inside the house for just a few minutes. Additionally, I had an HVAC technician (from another company) come over and he immediately detected a freon leak coming through the vents (using his leak detector). He didn't attempt to find out exactly where the leak was, but suggested I purchase a new unit due to the age of the current one (20 years old). He also seemed shocked that someone would add freon to a system that already had a leak. Apparently I was breathing in both freon and "A/C Renew" and that was what was irritating my lungs. Keller did promptly come back out the next morning and secured the blower door underneath the furnace. Unfortunately, this did nothing for the apparent leak. Since I could no longer turn on the A/C unit without having breathing problems, I was without Central A/C for several weeks until I could get a new unit installed by another company for $8200. In the meantime, I had to secure two window A/C units in order to keep the house liveable during this time. Keep in mind that this was in July with temperatures in the upper 90's and I had two elderly parents in their late 80's living there. By the way, I called the manufacturer of "A/C Renew" and they said that it could get into the vents if there was a leak. I called another HVAC company in the Charlotte area and they said the same thing. "A/C Renew" contains both Benzene and a propietary Esther and is a Class 2 Skin Irritant. Here is the safety data sheet: [*** Link removed ***] On the safety datasheet it states the following: "INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult seek medical attention." Although the folks at Keller are very nice, I must say that I was surprised that I wasn't offered at least a partial refund, since I was now out of $427.00 and could no longer turn on the A/C unit at all. It would have been better if I had not called them at all. At least I now have a new system and have learned not to try any new gimmicks to try and get any more life out of your current system if it is about to go. I guess I'll chalk this one up to experience.

Mr. Keller has come to our home a few times for both our fireplace and air conditioner. On 4th of July our AC and Furnace died. Mr. and Mrs. Keller came to our home, provided us options and a very fair quote. They replaced our system themselves, and were very professional, friendly and quick to get our system back up. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I called for an AC tune-up fully expecting to have to have more refrigerant needed and it did. Additionally the tech pointed out a couple of items that were dropping the efficiency and provided pictures on this phone so I didn't have to go into the attic or outside in the heat to see if I didn't want to. He used booties every time he came in the house and worked quickly. Overall good job and I'll call them again when I have a problem or just feel like I need a routine service for any HVAC work.

Very professional and reasonably priced

Noticed my heat was no longer heating the downstairs. Called Keller and they came out and diagnosed the compressor was bad. They ordered a new compressor and the next day the crew installed it in about 4 hours. The heat has been working ever since.

In August 2018, my lower level AC was not functioning well. I called Keller and Ethan and his helper (Mr Keller's son) came out and fixed the system (old system from late 1990s and it is working well. This week, (Oct 2018), the furnace was not igniting the gas heater element. Ethan determined that the motor was not working (it had been whining for a long time---so has been on the verge of conking out for some time now). Came back 2 days later and fixed (same model motor is virtually silent). Installed a new thermostat also. Keller is a great small family company. I will always use them. Totally satisfied.

The whole team were awesome. Glen showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule and immediately started removing my old equipment. Soon after Brandon arrived and started removing the upstairs unit. Then a third arrives, Ethan, and the installation process started. Everyone knew exactly what to do and how to get it accomplished. They brought everything with them needed to complete the job the first time. I was provided with numerous quotes and options and I was given the chance to decide, no pressure and no hard selling techniques. I chose the unit and price that best fit our needs and they were happy to accommodate my choices. The cost was reasonable and below what others have quoted and they did so much more. They are my new HVAC go to team.

Excellent service Arrived on time analyzed the problem and corrected the issue. Have recommended them to a friend and he was also satisfied with there’s service.

We hired them a second time in June 11 2018. They are always on time. Making a perfect work. We recommend them everyone and will hire them again.

Keller Heating and Air did a great job with our fireplace tune-up. Also, they cleaned the fireplace, the logs and spread the ambers for a nice visual enhancement. Great Work at a Fair Price!

Visit in december mis-diagnosed the problem and did the wrong repair. In february it iced up again. Cost of the december repair was refunded and I paid for the new work. Ended up ahead a few dollars.

Other than needing a few days to get the parts it went fine.

Technician was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. A minor repair was made and our AC was ready to go!

He put the logs back and everything works now. I will have this done every year to cut down on the dust in the lines.

Owner provided three quotes of a range of units that were very detailed and informative.
