Description of Work: Moved my elderly uncle from his apartment in Charlotte to his new apartment in Rock Hill. They were prompt, courteous and did a professional job. I would use they anytime I had a moving or storing job

Description of Work: I have some very heavy (solid oak) furniture that was on 2 floors of a house. They sent 6 guys to do the job, which was the right number based on amount of things to be moved. The arrived on time, did a quick walk thru of all things to be moved and went right to work. They carefully wrapped each piece, and helped take glass shelves out of cabinets - wrapping them and placing aside to make sure they didn't get broken. They worked hard all day loading and unloading at the new location. No damage that I could find other than a few minor scratches on one bed. For the size and weight of my furniture, I expected scratches on floors or something, but they did a great job. They didn't waste any time during the day either, all 6 guys worked hard. They even helped me lift the mattress to put a bedskirt on and put glass shelves back in cabinets before they left the house. Professional, courteous and hard working.

Description of Work: Ballantyne moved us from a 30X30 foot storage unit in Charlotte to our home. Initial estimate was 4 hours, 2 trucks. Everything was packed - so just a move. Loading into the truck took significantly longer than planned. It was apparent that there was one 'full time' employee - experienced -and 2 contract help and this contributed to the delays. Lots of instruction, lots of breaks. Ended up being a full days work. Other than the additional time, the move went well - nothing was damaged, they put mats down to protect floors & carpets, and moved the boxes/furniture into the rooms specified. Overall, would recommend them.
