10+ years of experience in Driveway Sidewalks pool deck patio garage slab foundation and more.
"In June, we hired Ty'Shon to repair the brick around our front porch as well as a few small mortar patches on our chimney. He came out, gave us an estimate that was well below the others that we had received, and he was the only one who was able to get us on the schedule within a reasonable amount of time. We saw the previous bad reviews but given that the job was small, we took our chances and we're so glad we did! He and his crew were extremely professional and treated us and our home with care and respect. When the work was going to go over the original estimate (some unanticipated complications added time to the job) the costs were thoroughly explained BEFORE the work was done and approval was obtained. There were absolutely no surprises, which was so appreciated. When we needed further work done this month, we knew exactly who to call. We had a previous quote for a retaining wall, but Ty'Shon beat it easily and we are thrilled with the results. When his truck broke down, he rented a replacement just so he could get our job done without delay. He and he crew work so quietly that despite being right outside my bedroom window, I slept well past their arrival time. They were halfway done with the project before I woke up at my usual time. Again, they honored my schedule and respected my home."

"I’m very disappointed with the service I received from Carl with Mower Medic because I paid for services I didn’t receive.  I called Carl about getting my riding lawn mower serviced and asked him to put new blades on it because it was leaving a line in the middle of cutting path uncut (Mohawk) he assured me he would do complete tune up to change oil spark plug filters and put new blades on it  so Jun 27 he came did the work and charged me 213.00 … along with a tip I threw in that was my choice and decision ….the first time I used it it just didn’t seem right it acted like it was grinding and  blowing a lot of dust and dirt and I had a part that fell off so I called him he had me text him the pix of that part and said it wasn’t anything  that would  be making the dirt and dust blow like that he told me my house had a lot of bare places and that we had dry summer  so I just let it go next time I cut grass it was blowing the dirt and dust excessively again and it was acting like it was losing power and about to cut off randomly and now I’m starting to hate to cut grass where  as I always enjoy riding the lawn mower since I got I did put out a post on a social media site asking if anyone knew of somebody that could look at it  turns out I did get couple of guys to jack it up they had some jacks to lift it up and discover the blades that Carl put on were not brand new blades they were reconditioned blades that he resharpened  I have pictures where the design in the center was different on the ones Carl installed  2 different design blades and you could see that the edge of the blade had been filed down and sharpened and there was chip on one of the blades he had installed no way was these Brand new blades he claimed to put on my lawn mower and the air filter was completely dirty and filthy and they could not tell if the spark plug he put in was a used or brand new one so needless to say had to make trip to get brand new blades air filter and spark plug which was another 85.00 … the 2 guys that looked at it were furious about this as I’m a single female that is not that knowledgeable about this kind of stuff and one of them called Carl about it and Carl would only say he changed the blades he would never admit that the blades he used were not new and Carl never even tried to call me to make this right totally feel I was ripped off and taken advantage of and I will never do business with mower medic again I only gave 1 star because no option for zero this was zero quality service"

Lawn mower repairs typically range from $40 to $90, with most people spending right around $60. However, your final total will depend on the type of lawn mower you have, the repair needed, and part availability.
Lawnmowers require seasonal maintenance to continue working correctly. With routine maintenance, you can extend its life to the fullest, which is around 10 years for push mowers and 5-8 years for riding mowers. To keep your lawn mower working correctly, you’ll want to take the following steps at least once a year:
Replace the spark plug
Change the oil
Drain the fuel tank
Clean the mowing deck (ideally, after every mow)
Replace the air filter
Check the carburetor
Sharpen the blades
Fog the engine
Check the tires
Before your lawn mower quits working entirely, it’ll likely give you some signs of wear and tear that indicate a repair is needed. Signs that you might need repairs to your lawn mower include:
Oil leaks
Vibrating engine
Smoking exhaust
Increase in time to mow
Unusual noises
Increase in gas consumption
If you are a skilled DIYer with experience, you can do certain lawn mower repairs yourself. However, if you’ve never worked on a lawn mower before or if your mower needs extensive repairs, it’s best to let a skilled lawn mower technician work on your machine. While it might be a little more expensive due to the cost of labor, nothing beats knowing that the job was done successfully (and often with warranties).
In many cases, it might be cheaper to repair your lawn mower than to replace it, depending on what needs to be repaired. The cost to replace a lawn mower dramatically varies, from $60 for basic models to over $15,000 for the top-of-the line models.
Small repairs like a spark plug replacement can be as little as $20, so replacing the whole lawn mower wouldn’t make much sense. However, repairing a crankshaft could be much more expensive at $500 to $900, so depending on the age of your mower, it might be best to replace it. It’s best to speak with your lawn mower repair technician to determine which option is best for you.
