I have an old huge oak tree with dead limbs that I wanted inspected and sought advice as to its health and recommendation on any needed trimming or removal. Blake came out on time and his recommendation was to only remove dead limbs and branches; otherwise he saw no serious issues with the tree. Caleb and his crew arrived on time at 7:45 on the appointed date, was extremely polite, professional and did a great job. He spent several hours in the tree and removed dead growth, everything from a couple large limbs to small branches. The effort it took to get to all the dead stuff was impressive! Great care was taken to protect shrubbery and beds around the tree, they were very safety conscientious and cleaned the area when finished. I couldn't tell they were here other than having a much better looking tree. When the job was finished Caleb took the time to make sure I was satisfied and to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend Sox and Freeman and will definitely use them again.

As far as I could tell, everything was perfect. A beautiful day. Crew arrived promptly at 8:00. Job was finished before 4:00. Neighbors were not even aware anything had been done. The clean up was superb. Watching this crew at work is awesome. It's hard to realize how dangerous this can be when it all goes so smoothly. Great Job!

I would not recommend this service provider, especially given the fact they did not respond to communication they set up on their own website. Customer service is at a premium in the Marketplace today. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service in this case cost the company several thousand dollars, further business opportunities and damaged their reputation.

They were prompt in coming to give me the estimate. Called back in two days to schedule the cut. They arrived on time. Cut the tree quickly and cleaned up beautifully. The tree was a very tall hickory tree located right next to an 8ft tall fence and between two homes. Tough location. They made it look easy. One thing they do that most tree cutters do not is wait to bill you for a few days to make sure that you are satisfied and that all was left in good condition etc. They mail you the bill . I like that! They were great and very professional. I would recommend them highly,

Their work was OUTSTANDING! We could not be more pleased. They responded immediately to my call, came and gave a very reasonable estimate, and then showed up early on the morning we were scheduled. The workers were very professional. They cleaned up all the saw dust and didn't destroy my yard. I heartily recommend them!

I called for an estimate and they came out within a couple of days based on my schedule. Very knowledgeable about not only the trees but about how to address trimming a tree that was on the property line between my house and the neighbor. They gave me a price while they were there. It was a very fair price. I am sure I could have found someone who would have beat the price, but these guys are experts, have insurance on their workers, and are very professional. I made an appointment based on my schedule which was about a week or so away from when they gave me the estimate. They brought all of the equipment they needed including a monster chipper and truck that made easy work of getting rid of all of the limbs and trees(plus it was fun to watch). When they were done, it not only looked great, but there was no sign that they had been there. Very pleased with their service and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone. There is a good reason why these guys have been in business for so long.

It's an outstanding experience. They send an arborist that looking for job beforehand and gave me a lot of good advice and they send professional climbers to go up and trim trees which you don't see very often. They are very professional.

They roped and lowered every piece of the tree, so that it didn't drop on my lawn, and mess it up or my sprinkler system. I was very pleased.

This is the second time I've used them and have been very pleased. They are professional and responsive; the crew that arrived knew what to do and were professional. The price seemed a bit more than I would like to pay - they did not grind the stump for this price - but the crew consisted of four guys, a bucket truck, and they were in and out cleaning up everything behind them and leaving no damage to my neighbor's fence or yard. Given the liability, what they brought to the job, and the efficiency of getting it done, I think it was worth the price.

Had a tree cut down and did not realize the business I used did not equipped to remove the stump; and it was definitely an eye sore. Contacted Sox and Freeman and I am very impressed with their professional service. I was very impressed with their state of the art equipment and you cannot tell was ever located in the place where they removed it. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend them to any customer seeking tree service.

I called the company and they responded, Chris came out and looked at the two(out of control) Bradford Pear trees. He sent me an estimate and I told him to please come and trim them. The crew were very professional, they went straight to work and were finished in about 1.5 hours. They cleaned everything up and told us they we finished. Trees look great, I will use this company again whenever I need work on my trees. Excellent company?

I contacted Chris Freeman, by phone, about having some trees cut down and I found him to be so professional, helpful and kind! As promised, he came over to look at the trees so that he could provide an accurate estimate of costs. He then contacted me by phone with the estimate and to schedule a time for the tree removal. I was pleasantly surprised that he was so concerned with accommodating my schedule and his ability to schedule me so quickly. On the scheduled day of service, his crew called to say that they were running a little behind and might arrive 30-45 min late, however, they showed up precisely at 10:00, which was our original scheduled time. We were shocked at how quickly they worked to remove 3 trees and to prune two others. They were gone within 45 min and had cleaned up so well that you would never have known they'd been there! Later that night, we discovered that our landscape lights were not working, so I contacted Chris and he was so reassuring that they would take care of it by Monday (this was Thursday). However, someone came over the same day and repaired our lights!! It is SO refreshing to actually get AWESOME customer service these days! Every employee of Sox and Freeman that I spoke to was so professional and nice! I would most definitely use AND recommend this business every chance I get!!! One last thing, the cost was VERY reasonable based on the fantastic service that I received!

From the beginning Sox and Freeman was a pleasure to do business with. We got a quick estimate and immediately got into the queue for service, which took a couple of weeks before it was done. They removed four trees in total, one of which was a very large double oak tree that had large limbs hanging over our neighbor's driveway. That tree accounted for over $800 of the total estimate, so the other three trees were removed fairly cheaply in my mind. Two pine trees were removed from the backyard, one extremely close to the house. All of the wood was hauled away and the guy came by a couple of days later to grind all of the stumps. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess anywhere. Overall I was very pleased with the outcome!

They have done work two times for me. I used them the first time in cooperation with my former neighbor. We had a tree that was literally on the property line between us, and she and I split the cost equally of having the tree removed and the stump ground. They did a good job, and I called them when I needed somebody again. They sent an arborist out to look at the tree that I needed to have removed, and he made his recommendation. They came the following day and did a good job and good cleanup. I think the stump grinding part was done the following day, and they did a very good job. I was okay with the price, considering that they have a lot of liability in that type of work. The price was fair, and I trust their work. I would use them again, and I would recommend them to others.

They are the best ones in town. They are very reliable and they have certified foresters on staff so they know what they are talking about.

They were excellent. We had a 13 foot diameter oak tree that fell down. I had used them twice before that. One time they removed half of a huge tree that had split and covered our entire backyard. The second time was to remove the other half of the tree that was still standing, but was rotted. It was a very challenging thing. It took them days and they were great. I would definitely use them again. They were extremely professional. They had great equipment so they didn’t damage our neighbor’s yard where part of the tree fell, but we have to pay for the excellence. They are not cheap. I would certainly recommend them because of their level of professionalism. They were prompt. They showed up exactly when they said and they knew what they were doing. I have used them three times.

Blake Roddy met with us and answered many, many questions both in person and via email. The estimate we received was below what another company had given us. We were very impressed with the time Blake took with us as we walked the yard and looked at the trees. The crew that came was punctual, worked diligently (even in the rain) and were very professional. Amazing to watch = their skills are unbelievable!! We will definitely use them again if needed and highly recommend Sox and Freeman to anyone.

I called them from my neighbor's house. They were quick and fast. They were little pricey but they did the job and cleaned up the yard. Everything was fine. I would use them in the future.

I have used them several times in the past and they are very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. They are probably a little higher than most on price but I will use them again in the future.

We like their work. We don't remember having any problems. They've done well. They were expensive but we got our money's worth we guess. The quality of work was good. We don't remember about their responsiveness. We think that they were punctual, pretty quick and efficient. We don't remember a lot about the whole experience. We will use them again in the future if we need to. One of the reasons we would use them again is because of the quality of work.
