Shuler Electrical Svc

He arrived on time and worked straight through until he finished. I was very pleased with his work.

I found George on Angie's List. He had good reviews. I called him and followed up with an e-mail. I explained that I purchased an exhaust fan to remove cigar smoke from the room over my garage, which has been converted to a man cave. He made a time to do the work, showed up on time, gave me an estimate and did the job for the agreed price, cleaned up and left. I was very pleased with it.

Mr. Shuler was punctual as usual. He is a competent electrician and is very neat. He always leaves things as he found them, i.e., moving furniture back, etc. He's also very personable.

Everthing went fine. There is one more GFI outlet on the outside back porch that needs repairing. I will call Mr. Shuler later when the weather is better and request that he fix it when he has some extra time.

Everything went well. He did a good job, and I found the price to be extemely reasonable.

We had a few wires under the house that were just lying on the ground with wire caps that looked unsafe. I called one electrician based on a recommendation but he never showed up after calling back. I boxed up two of the three wires but one was a 220 line that just didn't look right to me so I went to Angies list and found Mr. Shuler who came highly rated. I called and left a message and he called back and we set up a time to come out. He showed up promptly on time, checked out the wires. They were dead wires left by contractors who built the addition on the house. He removed them, then checked our electrical system grounding and capacity which checked out. He was very professional, nice, and took the time to explain things to me. He only charged me for a routine service call. He is now my official electrician. Good guy who I'd recommend to anyone.

Mr. Shuler made time to come out and access my electrical problems w/in 2 hours of calling him. He was actually off for the holiday, but still made time to come by. In no time, he had everything taken care of. He tested everything before he left to ensure everything was working properly

Mr Shuler responded to my phone request immediately upon receipt of the message I left. Even though I live quite a distance from his normal route, he made the trip. Once he arrived, he was very professional and thorough. His detailed explanation of the work required was comprehensive and easy to follow. An unmitigated professional!

We first went to Angie's list to find an electrician. Mr. Shuler had a number of very positive reviews. We called him, described our problem (three wall sockets had just quit working no tripping of a breaker just would not work), and set up a time for the repair. Mr. Shuler arrived at the agreed time, quickly isolated our problem and made the repairs consisting of replacing 2 of the plug in sockets and repairing a damaged wire. We just joined Angie's list. Mr. Shuler was our first need and his response and professionalism have sold us on the service that is provided on Angie's list. We will definitely call Mr. Shuler again with any electrical problem or service we would need....

It was the first time I had used him. He was very easy to talk to and work with. He's got a pleasant personality and does very good work. He was on time as well.

My wife and I started a subscription with Angie's List to find a electrician, and picked Mr. George Shuler because of his high ratings. There is a reason he is rated so highly and we were not disappointed. Mr. Shuler was fantastic to deal with. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field. He stuck to his time estimation and cost quote. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and craft. We will definitely hire him for our next electrical job.

He arrived promptly. Was very courteous and friendly. He had the necessary parts needed to fix the problem, already on his truck. He diagnosed the problem and quickly got my hot tub up and running. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I contacted Shuler Electric and another company in Camden, SC. The company in Camden never bothered to return my phone call. Mr Shuler was quick to respond and set up an appointment the very next day, a Saturday. He arrived on time and went straight to work analyzing the problem and fixing it. He also checked another issue that had been reported on a home inspection.

We told Mr. Shuler about the various electrical problems we'd experienced. He checked the wiring in the breaker box, checking for loose wires, first. He also explained why he would have wired the connections a different way. He explained his recommendations and I requested that he rewire the panel. When that was done, I asked him to check the ceiling light fixtures where the bulbs had burned out too soon. I also asked him to check the switches to the fixtures, followed by checking a nearby outlet. Mr. Shuler explained the speed connections and recommended changing them to terminal connections. He explained so that I can do it myself. He also checked the grounding connection outside. Inside the breaker box/panel, he checked EVERY connection and identified wires that had been clamped down on the insulation, rather than metal-to-metal. He also bound up the wires to reduce the chances of other problems popping up in years to come. He was thorough, professional, informative, and pleasant. I would definitely call him again.

MR SHULER IS A REAL PROFESSIONAL, WHILE ALSO BEING PLEASANT AND PERSONABLE. HE PLACED A LARGE CLEAN QUILT ON THE CARPET BEFORE BRINGING IN AND SETTING UP HIS LADDER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GENTLEMAN.

Mr Shuler gave me an detailed quote within three days of looking at our house. He scheduled a start time with us and was on time everyday and was very respectiful of our house and animals. He finished on time and stuck to the original quote. I am lucky to have found him and will use him in the future, but he did such a good job, I doubt we will need to use him on our house!

Mr. Schuler did a great job, he was on time, pleasant and very professional. Should ever need electrical work I would definitely call him.

I originally thought that it was a faulty GFI and after investigating for a couple hours had decided I need help. Called on Friday and got appointment for that evening. Was happy that he was able to make an appointment after normal business hours (5:30) so that I did not have to take off from work. Unfortunately I was called back shortly after appointment was made. He apologized and I appreciated that he called as soon as he found out that he would be likely be late. I've had others services that tried to fit me the same day and when other jobs were taking longer then expected, just assumed that I would be available whenever they got there. I had plans for Friday night but so we scheduled a time for Saturday morning again allowing me not to miss work. He arrived in the morning and detected and fixed the issue in less than half an hour. Because it was such a short job he waived the typical $75 diagnostic fee and only charged $50. The biggest plus was that he explained as he went what he was doing and why he was doing it.

This is the third time I've called Mr. Shuler for electrical work. He came out the same day I called and completed the work in about 3 hours. I will never even think of calling anyone else.
