Description of Work: I had Mr. Shuler install vanity lighting in a hall bathroom and repair some electrical connections under our home. He also added an additional canned light over the tub as well as an additional outlet in the same bathroom. Excellent workmanship and professionalism! I would definitely recommend Mr. Shuler!

Description of Work: I called Mr. Shuler based on his positive reviews on Angies List. Mr. Shuler came to my house to review my needs in regard to electrical repairs/upgrades that had to be completed for the sale of my home. He was very polite and professional, and thoroughly examined each item on my inspection list. However, I never received and estimate or return phone call from him after his initial visit, so I had to select another electrician.

Description of Work: Revised Review: The light to our fan in the bedroom goes on w/o us turning it on, waking us up in the middle of the night. The light in our dining room is too dim & needs replacement bulbs all the time. I've called Mr. Shuler multiple times asking him to come back out to look at the fan. He called me back twice, but has yet to schedule a time to come back out. After two months of calling him, we are seeking another electrician. Initial Review: Mr. Shuler was punctual, efficient, and very respectful! I would definitely use his services again.

Description of Work: George Shuler, electrician, showed up on the date we had agreed upon, only a little later than the original appointment. Mr. Shuler checked electrical circuits and breaker box for loose connections or other problems that would cause lights to flicker when appliances - particularly microwave oven - were used. He determined that the problem existed outside the house and helped me to describe to SCE&G (elec. utility) the the problems we were having. Mr. Shuler remained at our house until the electric utility's lineman arrived and confirmed that the line was damaged, likely by squirrels. That afternoon, the electric utility replaced the service line from their transformer to our house and the problem was solved. Mr. Shuler was courteous, wasted neither our time nor his own, was professional in every respect. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing home electrical work.

Description of Work: mr. shuler installed a ceiling fan on a cathedral ceiling and repaired a light, also on a cathedral ceiling--did a great job--extremely reasonably priced--very professional. I would recommend him highly.

Description of Work: We found Mr. Shuler on Angie's list and were very happy we did! He installed a recessed light, several fans, and added a circuit for our kitchen. He was professional, punctual, and the charge was very reasonable. Everything looks great and will definitely call him for future projects.

Description of Work: We contacted Mr. Shuler after we had a housefire after an electrical surge after a thunderstorm; he was prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable. We hired him to rewire the house;he did a very professional job, was very thorough, and worked through the many challenges involved in rewiring an older home. very reliable, honest and fair ; would definitely hire again for any electrical work needed.

Description of Work: After a house fire, we had to have our entire house re-wired. Mr. George Shuler promptly came to give an estimate, and we selected his company to do the work because of his experience and other reviews on Angies list. Mr. Shuler and Mr. Tucker worked very hard ( in >90 degree heat- no air conditioning) every day and got the job done timely. We have an older home, and so there were many challenges to get the job done, without having to cut holes in the walls or other damage. They were very professional, and did not damage any of the walls during the rewire, and cleaned up any dust/dirt from the job afterwards. Mr. Shuler is experienced, reliable, prompt, and honest, and gave us a fair price; we were very pleased with the work and would definitely hire again. we highly recommend.

Description of Work: I placed a call for an estimate to Mr Shuler. I believe that he was on a job at the time. He said that he would call me back in two days. I received a cll about a week later. He may have just lost track of my request. After not receiving a call back in a timely manner, i contacted Handyman Services,LLC. They came out promptly and gave me an estimate. Kevin Hamiliton came out on the following Monday and started the work. We developed a great relation with Kevin. The work was done in a timely manner and for the quoted estimate. Kevin was a great worker, and cleaned up each day after the work was done. I would not hesitate to call Handyman Services again.

Description of Work: Previous workers had neglected to place the plate on an electrical outlet and Mr. Shuler found and fixed other problems with it. In addition, he installed another outlet.

Description of Work: We had a "heavy" chandelier to hang, and the first line of the instructions read: ATTENTION: This unit is too heavy to hang from any electrical box by itself. It must be hung by the chain and supporting cable attached to a structual beam. Recommend a professional contractor. Mr. Shuler came two days before, examined the problem (no access to space above ceiling), read the instructions and set a time to install. That required drilling through the truss' bottom beam. Suspending the cable through. Adding additional reenforcement to the elec. can, and "tying off" the cable above the box and beam. Excellent job!

Description of Work: Mr.Shuler took out an old ceiling fan, did some troubleshooting to find a problem and installed a new one. He also installed a light in my closet, replacing wires and the ceiling light.
