RPC Home Inspections

Description of Work: Mr. Maass showed up at the appointed time to do a maintenance inspection on my 60 year old home. I have lived here eight years and just wanted to be sure that I was staying on top of issues with my roof, plumbing, and general maintenance of the house. He asked about any specific concerns I had and took those into consideration, as well as checking the other things that are usually looked at during such an inspection. He made some suggestions on how to deal with some mildew issues I had (which turned out to be much less serious than I had feared) and uncovered some plumbing issues that I did not know about. In addition to checking my house, he checked my garage, my attic, my crawl space and the roof. He encouraged me to voice any concerns or questions I had during the inspection, and he followed up with a written report within a few days with pictures of the things he had discussed with me. I definitely felt like I had a better handle on things I need to do after his visit. He had originally quoted a fee of $350 and I had a check ready when he came, but he said he had made a mistake and a maintenance inspection for a home my size was only $300. Nice surprise!
