They have done good work for me. They are always on time and very punctual. I definitely recommend them and their office calls to keep you informed. I would use them again. Scheduling with them is pretty easy.

Everything has been working fine. They showed up when promised. They do exactly what is promised. They gave me some options on the unit and I was able to pick which on I wanted. They removed the old unit and even took it away. They cleaned up after they were done.

Thrilled to bits! Our HVAC system is nearly 20 years old and we have been trying to eek a few more years of life out of it for some time. The technician (I believe his name was Lewis) was far more competent and thorough than any other servicer that we have used. He was also on time, very friendly and polite, and thoroughly explained everything he did. We will definitely call Prcision Air when we replace the system.

This was a special deal. Once purchased, they called and set up the appointment. Robbie the tech guy was on time and did the work. He was very professional and honest. He put in a temporary filter because the filter they normally used was not available. I decided that I wanted the type I normally used. I called and spoke to Josh who told me that was fine and that he would have the filter installed the next time they were in the area. When I didn't hear from Josh within a reasonable period of time, I called back and spoke with Harry, the owner, who answered the phone. Made arrangements with Harry for them to come back and put the filter in that I wanted. Robbie came the day as promised (within two days) and put in the new filter. I was not charged for this extra stop. I plan on using this company to install new filters when needed and I hope Robbie will be the one who does the work.

It was the Sunday of Labor day weekend but he was here 2 hours after we made the first call - a pleasant surprise. He (Tim) had a look at the main AC unit in the attic, saw no issue and asked to see the compressor / fan until outside. On the way out, he gave me some advice on how to set the thermostat in an unused zone for better operation in the future. Once outside, he found the defective capacitor in 5 minutes and had the unit working in 10. He checked out a few other things and suggested a service contract using a very soft sell. I was sold, though. He was very courteous (took off his boots before going in the house) and knowledgeable. I felt that if this was an indication of future experience, I'd be very pleased and committed to a 1 year service agreement in addition to my repair.

The old Air Handler had failed and left us with water damage. As a portion of recovery, they promptly removed the old and installed a new Air Handler. They were efficient and did a very good job with the entire effort. Highly recommend Travis and the entire group. The office staff were great to work with also.

We were happy with the experience! We got the deal, called them up and they were here probably within a week or two. It kind of went on a while but we don't really blame them for anything that happened, we were happy with them even with that.

We did not need a diagnoses, just refrigerant, so they applied the cost to our check-up price. Allen was amenable. Had a hard time setting up the appt. because of so much rain this summer. Finally got Allen's name and asked for him and we were able to get it worked out. Unit is still working fine.

They came the day after I purchased it. He cleaned up everything really well. We got along fine but I think I frustrated him a little bit because we didn't say we would do anything else. The price of the Big Deal was fine. They were very responsive. They came when they said they would. He was very professional and knew exactly what he was talking about. I will give them an opportunity to tell me what it's going to cost to do the replacement.

We had a great experience with them. It was good service and we were very happy. The young man who came was informed and he explained everything to my husband and I. He apologized that he not only had the filter on his truck, but he also didn't have it because the company was out of them. He left and said that they would bring it back as soon as they got it. He came back like two days ago and we had almost forgotten about it. They called, he showed up and brought us the filter. He was great, polite, and on the ball. They were really very good about their responsiveness.

The Service Tech arrived on schedule and very professionally with all his equipment tested the various tolerances in the system to see if they were in acceptable parameters. He was very forthcoming with his findings and did not trying to sell me anything more that what was requested. I would use this company again.

Very quick response time. Received call from technician within approximately five or so minutes of call and he arrived within 15 minutes. Tim R. was very cordial and there was no pressure to make any repairs other than the immediate issue. In fact other than service plan offer no attempt to sell me something I did not crucially need which was a nice change from my previous service provider. He also was very tolerant and not judgmental of my rambunctious pets and small children and did not seem to mind stepping around scattered toys. From start of initial call to their service to when he exited off the premises with my ac fixed it was a little over an hour. Sent from iPad so sorry for any spelling errors.

Well, I redeemed the Angie's list coupon, paid for prior to even making an appointment, (which by the way is my very first interaction with Angies List) for rental property. I felt that Mr Paul Brown was very thorough. He seemed very well versed in all things air condition and more. I appreciated his work very much and would definitely call on precision air again.

Excellent on-site response time of less than an hour for a "blind" service call when our furnace stopped working. I had never used this provider before, but gave them a call after reviewing local heat and air providers on Angie's List. The service technician diagnosed the problem with our current furnace and determined that it needed a new blower motor. Since the unit was about 15 years old, and had needed similar replacement parts twice in the past, we decided to go with a new heat and air conditioning system, a heat pump (previously we had a split system, with a gas furnace). We were very pleased with the service provided by Travis and the other technician, and are very happy with the new system. I recommend Precision Aire to anyone looking for heating or air conditioning services or systems.

Our heater had decided that it wasn't going to work when the thermostat said so and we needed to get that corrected. Because this was the day before we were going to leave town for Thanksgiving, time was of the essence else we come back to a frigid house. I searched this site and found Precision Air. One call to the office just before lunch and they promised somebody out there before 5PM the same day. I arrived at my house at 4 to find the van waiting for me. They tested everything out and eventually found that the starter for the heater just wasn't starting! After about 30 minutes of tuning, the heater worked like a champ. While the service-person was investigating, though, he assuaged my fears that it was something that was going to lead to a new furnace. Rather, he was complimentary and stated that, with the right maintenance, I could keep the furnace going for years longer. The repair price was a little high (the appearance charge was the biggest portion), but the service was impeccable. I will be giving them strong consideration when searching for service plans to keep my AC/Heater on its last limbs for many years to come.

Our service technician, showed up in the time they said he would. He got right to business and was very friendly. He informed me as to everything he saw and did. He was very professional and did his work in a timely fashion.

We have been unhappy with our current company and when our AC stopped working, decided to try someone else. Chose Precision Air based an Angie's List recommendation. Called company in mid-afternoon, expecting to be told it would be the next day at the earliest. Instead, Precision Air came that evening at 8:30. The tech, Paul, was here until 10:00 doing the above mentioned work. He took pictures to document the problems (shoddy workmanship) and sent a couple to us for our records, so we could show them to our soon to be former AC and Heating Co. He also took the time to explain everything to me, even though it was late and I'm sure he wanted to go home! We are cancelling our contract with our old company and will be using Precision Air from now on.

Our gas package unit, over 20 years old, developed a leak and stopped working. We researched HVAC equipment online and through consumer reports. We researched installers through Angie's List. We chose three installers to provide quotes. We chose Precision Air Service based on two primary reason, the quality of the equipment supplied and the throughness, punctuality, candidness, and professionalis of the individual who developed the quote. The new Precision Air equipment was installed in a matter of days. The installers were also very punctual, professional, and customer oriented. We are very very satisfied with the quality of the equipment and the quality of the installation.

We contacted Precision Air yesterday morning to have them come out after our A/C quit working the night before. We were informed somebody would be there between 5 and 7 pm. The service technician Brandon called to let us know he was running behind several times to keep us informed on when he would arrive. He got there at 7:30, and within 5 minutes had correctly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it within another 10 minutes. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, very friendly, and explained in detail what the issue was and what we can do to make sure our A/C runs smoothly in the future. I absolutely will call Precision Air for all my future repair and service needs. Thank you very much to your staff, especially Brandon.

The technician was prompt, courteous and professional. He quickly identified and replaced the failed capacitor. He also removed a supplemental "hard start" capacitor that a previous servicer had installed several years ago. He monitored the system operation using pressures and compressor current draw to deterime if the system was operating properly and determined it was. The ambient temperature was not as high as it was when the unit was experiencing problems so I could not be sure that the problem was resolved. At my request he took some temperature readings to confirm that the refrigerant charge was correct which he did. He said it looked OK. After he left I noticed on the inside of the Lennox condensing unit cover panel a label providing directions and specifications for confirming the correct refrigerant charge using the Lennox "approach method". The technician did not use this method. The technician gave me the obligatory sales pitch for a service agreement which I was not interested in (I perform my own routine service.) I had an Angie's List coupon for a free service call so the bill was only for replacing the capacitor. I rated price "B" because the capacitor is a $25 part and took maybe 10 minutes to replace. I guess they have to mark up their parts prices.

John the technician was extremely friendly and made the experience wonderful. Real knowledgeable and would recommend company to everyone.

I called on a Sunday morning not expecting service until Monday. The technician on call, Paul, called and schedule a time for Sunday to come and fix the AC. He showed up early and explained and showed everything to me so I could explain to my husband (who was out of town at the time) what the issue was. Two hours later my house is cool and AC is working properly again. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Columbia-Lexington area that has any heating-AC issues. Thank you!

First time Carlos came out, the system worked perfectly for him. Four days later it went out again and this time Paul found what he thought was the problem (thermostat), replaced it and heat started working. Thought we were finished. Very next day heat went out again. This time both Carlos and Paul came out. Turns out Carlos was on call that night, remembered being out earlier, knew that Paul had been out day before. So he called Paul and asked him to meet at the house to track down and solve the problem. Really smart move on their part and made a good impression. They got straight to work and found/fixed the problem. All these calls were nighttime and every time the guys were cordial and professional. The last time they actually showed us where the problem was and explained what it was. They answered every question we had. They did not leave until we were satisfied that the heat would work continuously. They also told us there was a possibility that the part they had to replace might not be covered by the home warranty so not to be surprised if we got a call from the office regarding money. Guess what? No phone call and heat has worked perfectly ever since. I had never heard of them before this experience, but wouldn't hesitate to call them again or even get a service agreement on our units. UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2012: We did get a service agreement with them! On-time, professional and observant. What you want in a vendor.
