Precision Air Cooling & Heating Service

I'll give the company the benefit of the doubt here and say that they just dropped the ball during an ownership transfer but my experience has been poor thus far. Purchased the $189 annual service package on July 13th only to receive an email stating that the company had been sold. Not sure why this ad is still active since Precision Air no longer supports this purchase. I was given a phone number to a different company to follow-up with which I find less than acceptable for a purchase based on reviews about Precision Air I've talked to the new company twice. The first time was to give them a chance to earn my business and after 2 days of not receiving a call back, I called again to request a refund. The new company is not up to speed with how to manage this Angie's list ad and has not been able to provide me a refund either. The new company could be just fine but they need some time to get organized. Thanks

our air-conditioning went out a day and a half ago and it was unbearably hot in our house. I looked on Angie's list and selected precision air I called yesterday and they set up an appointment for 8 AM this morning with Tom. He arrived on time was very friendly I showed him the thermostats and where the units were and he went immediately to work. We were afraid we might need new units and some other companies might have sold us New air-conditioning units but Tom didn't he encouraged us to get a maintenance program and we did and next week they will come out and service all three of our units. My husband and I are both delighted with the service and would highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future

Prompt response to initial call. Part procured as promised. Called when repairman knew he would be 30 to 45 minutes late for the appointment, then showed up as promised. I also received an email notification when repairman was on the way. I did have to call them to inquire about the status of their location of the part needed for a repair, but the customer service person had received a report about the weekend call and was able to give me a status update immediately on the phone.

We made an appointment for a tech to come troubleshoot why the upstairs unit was not blowing cool air. He arrived on time but did not have the tools to troubleshoot the line. What a waste of our time! We ask him to call someone else that did have the tools needed to test for a leak and he said everyone else was booked up and could not come until the following Monday. What? It was 100 plus degrees outside. Oh, we were charged over 80 dollars for the visit. What a waste of our money. Monday came and a new tech came out and was on time but was in a rush to get us done so he would not miss his other appointments. He began looking for the leak and could not find one. He was getting ready to call it a day when my husband said he would help him look for the leak. It was my husband that found the leak not the tech! So guess what he did not have enough time to fix it that day and we had to make third appointment for him to come back. It took him only 15 minutes to do the accrual work that in the end fixed our cooling issue... :( I would not use Precision Cooling again. They need to focus on getting the issues resolved and putting the customer first. They show up on time but have their tech's on such a tight schedule. It was clear to me that the company prides itself on punctuality above getting the job done. What a huge inconvenience! And it was not cheap....

Our upstair HVAC unit stopped working on a very hot Sunday. Called precision air and got a return phone call back from them in minutes and Lewis was out to the house within an hour! He was very professional and was able to troubleshoot and make the needed repairs in an hour. Price was very fair for a Emergency Weekend repair. Thankfully our house was cooled back down for the evening. Service was so good I signed up for their maintenance contract. Highly Recommend.

I called Precision Air on a Thursday morning, they had Travis to my home that afternoon. This was obviously a busy time for AC related repairs. By Wednesday of the following week, Travis had repaired one unit and completely replace the other. Some places I called couldn't even send a technician for a couple of weeks. I am completely satisfied with the work performed. I will make sure to have my heating and air needs handled by this firm going forward. Travis was great to work with and I especially appreciated his honesty and openness as we discussed the myriad of issues that needed to be resolved. Great company and great people.

My downstairs HVAC system was about to croak, so I sought quotes from three companies for a replacement. Precision Air stood out from the rest. They were prompt and accommodating to my schedule in obtaining a quote, and took time to explain how their quote met the criteria I set. Brandon Fuller, Service Manager at Precision Air, was courteous, candid, and professional. I peppered Brandon with many emails asking all sorts of questions about their quote, and he answered them all, often after work hours. Precision Air offered me an American Standard system that delivered on all my criteria, but was especially responsive to my interest in investing in the most energy efficient system I could afford. Precision Air also relocated the compressor and an existing heat pump serving my separate upstairs system, and replaced my thermostats. Precision Air's scheduling, customer service, and workmanship were outstanding. All this at a price that no other company I called could match.

They found an issue with my air conditioner and were able to fix it. I would use them again.

Brian was the repair technician. He was very professional and thorough. He explained in detail our options for repair and then gave me time to make an informed decision. He also gave options for payment. When I agreed to have the work done he completed the repairs very efficiently and it did not take long.

Experience was great. He did the job I needed.

Great experience from the dispatcher to the technician. They were flexible with scheduling and welcomed my questions to plan the first visit. The technician contacted me to coordinate arrival and then was prompt, professional, friendly, informative, patient, and knowledgeable. The technician also took the time to keep the house clean by wearing shoe covers. I scheduled the return visit for the modifications to the system and had the same experience. This time there were two technicians. Even with the cutting of drywall in the ceiling and walls, they were very neat. They used drop cloths to keep the place clean, and even offered to vacuum the little dust that was left behind. They took the time to explain the changes and showed me how to work the systems after the changes.

It went great. They were just thorough and I felt like I could trust them. They did a good job in their inspection. They did everything they said they would do. The price was competitive.

Was easy peasy. I'm waiting on December electric bill as I expect to see savings.

Fall checkout of heating system including inspection and cleaning.

Went very well. Mechanic knowledgeable, skilled, and explained recommendations. It had been over two years since the system had been serviced, and we elected to follow recommendation to install the UV light. We also elected to purchase an annual service contract with Precision.

All went extremely well. The first visit was very helpful. Travis F. was extremely knowledgeable and curteous. He provided a lot of detail and even took video of the inside of the unit in the attic to give me evidence of what was needed. He didn't hesitate to answer the numerous questions I asked. He made everything very clear and easy to understand. He also gave me several options and left the decision up to me. Being a single woman sometimes makes it easy to be taken advantage of, but I felt comfortable with him and the decision I had to make. Tim and Duane came to do the work and did a great job. They worked very efficiently and cleaned up all the while. I had stuff in my attic, but it was just the way I left it after they finished. You couldn't even tell the new supply in my bedroom was just put in. It looked perfect like it had been done when the house was built. There was no sheetrock or insulation pieces in my bedroom where they cut the hole, and they even had to squeeze through small spaces to get the duct work to the new supply. I've always had problems with the temperature in my bedroom being so far off from the other bedrooms upstairs, but now it finally feels the same as the others so we can all be comfortable. I'm so grateful to the guys for getting this done so quickly and professionally for me. I would definitely recommend them over any of the other 4 heating and air companies I've used in the past. Even the customer service individuals had a sense of urgency in responding to my calls. There is nothing bad I can say about the service I received.

I end up using Home Depot for replacing entire AC and heating unit because of lower ratings. Thanks to precision guys who helped me to understand the EPP sears ratings and how does it help me in long run. They also followup with me to have the fix done after contacting AHC guys for home insurance. So all in all their professionals are handy and helpful but the overall replacement cost was quite high.

My unit kept cutting off so I purchased the Big Deal with Precision Air for the tune-up. The technician was early for the appointment which was definitely a plus and he seemed very knowledgeable. I was told I had a leak and he gave me several options which were quite expensive so he only performed the tune-up.

The Service Tech arrived promptly, was very professional, did a great job cleaning the outside unit, did not try to sell a bunch of other services or parts. Would highly recommend and will use in the future!

Travis was great throughout the process and the new system is great; much quieter and much more efficient that our previous system. I was impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by Travis and the other technician (his brother) who installed the new system. We had a free six month check-up in May by a different PrecisiionAire technician, and he was great also.

I had some other AC tech come to repair my AC however, the job was done poorly therefore, I had to call another service which was Precision AC, I know they've done a great job diagnosing and repairing the problem because I have no more AC issues. I'm very satisfied! Thanks! A=Excellent!

They are very responsive to my calls. They show up on time. The technicians are very professional and give me their cell phones for any other issues. They have great customer service. They do a nice job cleaning after the work is done as well. They are very honest people to work with.

They were really good. The technician was very professional. He came in dressed in his company clothes and came in a company vehicle. He came right in, was able to diagnose the problem and went right to work fixing the issue. Scheduling was super-fast and super easy and he showed up on time. I could not even tell he was there since he cleaned up so well. He had all the parts in stock on the van he came in.

Everything turned out well. I haven’t had any problems since. I had no issues with scheduling. The technician showed up on time and cleaned up when he was done. I would call them back if needed.
