Description of Work: They did a maintenance check up on our heat pump which included cleaning the coils and other parts, lubrication, fluid check, and overall checking of the unit's performance. | |They were on time,courteous, and helpful in answering any questions we asked. The only negative for us was that they were not able to replace the media filter for our unit, as they do not stock it. We had to order it online and replace it ourselves, which was This was an inconvenience to us, but not a huge deal.The previous AC/Heating contractor we used in past years always provided the filter (at cost) and replaced it at the time of their service visit. We will know next time to purchase the filter in advance of their visit, so they can install it for us when they come to service the unit. | |We would recommend this company to anyone needing this type of service.

Description of Work: Compressor was replaced on unit under home warranty plan. They also notified me that the HEPA filter on my AprilAire cleaner needed to be replaced. A month after they left I finally got around to replacing the HEPA filter and noticed a leak coming from my A/C unit. I called them up and they were out the next day to check on it at no charge. They found my drain line was clogged. They unclogged for free. Excellent service. Only hang up was they did say they could replace the HEPA filter for me, but they never called me back with an estimate. So I ended up buying the filter online myself and installing it.

Description of Work: We bought a 6 year old home and needed an HVAC expert on Trane equipment with internal directional flow dampers (2 zones feeding 4 separately controlled living areas. The Precision Technician was excellent. He knew his trade, was familiar with my equipment and system and thoroughly checked out all of it's functions. I signed up for an annual maintenance service which includes 2 service calls and includes the changing of our 10 air return filters of all sizes.

Description of Work: We called from Forest Acres and he came out that same day. He was very helpful and friendly. And he was also clear about what the problem was and what my options were. He returned two days later (after getting the part) to do the repair (and actually did another minor repair when he noticed it). Very prompt, helpful, professional. We will definitely be calling Precision again. Excellent all around.

Description of Work: Trane A/C was not working. Precision Air installed a booster kit and hard-started the unit so that it can provide heating and air.

Description of Work: We called Precision Air to the clinic about a month ago because the air conditioning unit was not working and they were able to fix the immediate need to get it working again. They did tell us that the "fix" would only be temporary because of the age of the unit and they did not know how long it would work before we would need to replace the unit. Well, the unit completely died Monday morning and we called them to come out again to "fix" it. However, this time the unit was completely dead and the only option was to purchase a new one. Joe Burns, the manager, discussed our purchase options and we decided on the unit we felt would work best for us. Even though the business has been completely booked with service calls due to the 100+ degree heat wave, Joe scheduled to install our new unit and 4:00AM the next morning, since we were open 24 hrs. This was NOT expected and was way beyond the call of duty. They already had an overbooked schedule for that day. Our clients (2-legged and 4-legged) and staff were back to enjoying a reprieve from the terrible heat in less than 24 hours from the time of the service visit!
