Jungle Taming

I bought this deal. I got an email from the service provider. After talking with him, he told me a better person to talk to and do the job, and told me to request a refund through Angie's List.

He did a wonderful job, very thorough and detailed. I would definitely hire him again.

They came out and assessed the situation but unfortunately beyond their line of work so I was able to request a refund. They were extremely responsive and professional. I would use them in the future.

I talked with a telephone rep. about this a long time ago and she said she would check on it. He eventually did email with various excuses about why he did not get back to me, but by then I had engaged someone else. Is there any way to get my money refunded for this purchase?

I told them , which was there job description,.never heard back.

He said that what I needed was not what he does. He said that my yard was to pretty. He recommended some other people that can do what I need done. His expertise is dealing with yards that are a real mess. He was a really nice guy and very helpful. He spent quite a bit of time going around the yard. One of the guys that he recommended just happen to drive by and he stopped him and introduced him to me and that guy ended up doing the work. The Jungle guy had spent so much time at my house, I thought I should pay him and he refused to take any money. It was more of a consultation.

My house was being swallowed up by vines and shrubs that had gotten way out of hand. Bill cleared it out so that I could actually see the whole house again. I hadn't realized just how bad it had gotten over the years until we walked around my property to see what needed to be done. He was very knowledgable about plants and told me which ones were good to keep and which ones had to go. The vines, of course, had to go, and he told me that a big part of my problem with the shrubs and trees near the house was that they were just too big for the size of my house. He had it all cleared out in about 2 days total, and the pile at the street was quite sizable. He gave me excellent referrals to other people that would help me continue the beautification of my house and yard. Bill was extremely professional and knowledgable, and his integrity and pride in what he does were evident. He was a pleasure to work with, as well as to get to know.

Bill was punctual and professional. He walked my property with me and offered different solutions on how to achieve my ultimate goal based on the amount of time and money I wanted to put into the project. He offered different types of solutions to achieve the same goal based on the amount of time, effort and money I wanted to put into the project. He also educated me on my yards "problems" and how to conquer it, not just wrestle with it. I am looking forward to working with Bill during the next several months to achieve my goals.

I really didn't get any useful information. He gave me a card for someone that could cut down some trees I wanted removed. Before I called them, I checked them on Angie's and they had two reviews - both F's. In both cases, this vendor had done a poor job, had not finished the work and had not removed the debris as promised. Obviously I wasn't going to use them, but they called me a couple of days later to schedule my appointment for the work. I certainly didn't appreciate the original guy giving my contact information to someone.

I was unable to use the big deal due to the fine print and details of the work. The gentleman I spoke to was diligent about responding to me and very professional.

He said he did not do small jobs but called me back to make sure I got the help I needed.

I called about getting an estimate for some work that I wanted done. Unfortunately it happened to be something that they don't do (no fault of theirs) but the gentleman that I spoke to was very helpful and went out of his way to recommend another local company that I could try. They were also much more responsive than most - returning my call within 24 hours.

He was a very nice person and tried to help in anyway possible. His company wasn't really suited to what our home needed but he had a plethora of contacts and recommendations for other people to do the work.

Due to personal situation, shrubbery and beds around the house had been neglected for over a year and were really bad - in fact, I had an inquiry as to whether the house was abandoned! I was expecting a crew to show up, and was surprised that Jungle Tamers is actually just one individual. However, he set to work and accomplished an impressive amount in just two visits. He is a pleasant person, and I enjoyed the conversation on gardening when I had a bit of time to spend with him while he worked - and he did keep working even while we talked.

Jungle Taming did an excellent job of cleaning up the front and back yards of a home that I purchased for myself and family. Neighbors came over to see the work he was doing and expressed their appreciation for the fine work being done. I now, have all of my backyard available for my use and because of that, I plan on bringing in some topsoil, seed the area for a lawn; as well as place a privacy fence around my back yard so that my family and I can have cook outs, family gatherings, etc. I am very pleased with the work that was done and I believe the cost was well worth the accomplishment. I would recommend Jungle Taming, LLC to anyone looking to get quality workmanship done to improve their yards/lawns. Mr. Kunze is the greatest!!!!

I used Jungle Taming in December. He charges by the hour. I believe it's $35 an hour. He can do any type of gardening. Pruning, weed removal. And he uses natural herbicides. My experience was very good. He is very friendly, he works very hard. He listens to what you want and he gets a lot of good recommendations.

We were 100% satisfied with their service and work. From the first appointment to the very last cutting. They were honest and professional.

Jungle Taming exceeded my expectation. There performance was exceptional. The only thing that interfered with their prompt and efficient performance was bad weather. There work, I think, is pricy. They charge $35/hr. They were not able to tell me how many hours of work the project would involve making it diddicult for me to budget. They did discount the final bill by 10 percent.

They clean up the yard very nicely and economically. Mr. Bill Kunze that owns the company actually did the job himself. He was very professional. He kept telling me what he was going to do, how he was going to do it and why he was going to do it. He made sure that was what I wanted done. When he cut down the trees he sprayed the stumps with a systemic remover which will kill them. He has the license to use the different chemicals that are necessary.

Bill was true to his word; he got specifics of what I wanted done in writing and did an excellent, thorough job.

The company does what it says it will do. They are competent and professional.

Jungle Training recommended a consultant to evaluate how to address multiple landscape problems. and an estimate to perform weeding and straw to my beds and for trimming hedges.

The owner came to my house to give an estimate. He was right on time, friendly and professional. I found his estimate to be extremely high and was unable to use him. I do feel that he would have done an excellent job. I ended up doing the majority of the work myself.

Bill Kunze came to our house twice to make sure of the estimate and what the job would be. They arrived promptly, were hard-workers and knowledgeable. Our back yard was truly a jungle and we hadn't seen it cleared out for 10 years. We were worried about not having the privacy we enjoyed, but Bill is truly an artist and got rid of the "bad stuff" and expertly trimmed the other trees. Now when looking at our yard, it is truly awesome - the sun comes in but we still have our privacy and it's beautiful. They didn't just trim trees, they created a joyful setting. He has lots of knowledge and gave tips about what to do after they were finished. All of this and they were so fast and UNDER estimate. Hire them - you will love the result!!
