Jungle Taming

Bill doesn't do routine maintenance but he did take time to discuss my issues and make a recommendation about who could help me.

Bill was fantastic! He took the time to walk through my front and back yards to explain what plants and nuisance weeds were there, and what needed to be done. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and had helpful recommendations. His prices were quite reasonable. I will definitely hire him again on our next project.

Bill cleaned out some ivy and brush on the side of my garage, then---typically---saw a few scrub-brushy things nearby that I hadn't even noticed and got those, too. I've used Bill for "jungle taming" before and he is always competent, thorough, reliable, and courteous. It seems to be getting more difficult to find people with even one of two of those traits, and Bill has all of them! I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Mr. Kunze came out to take a look at our projects. He was very polite and personable. He took the time to listen to all the items I was looking to have done, walked my property with me, and asked questions. Afterward he told me that he did not do the kind of yard work that I was looking for. He does more towards clearing out brush and overgrowth. He stayed polite and helpful even after he realized that I was looking for something he didn't supply. He was kind enough to give me some other leads and some business cards of some other businesses that might be able to do the work. He impressed me with his good attitude. If I ever need some overgrowth cleaned out I would definitely call him to see if he could do it.

The service could not have been better. Bill is wonderful to work with. He knows weeds and how to get rid of them. He knows good plants and how to keep them safe. He gives you written information and offers helpful advice. He's just a great person with whom to work, and we will definitely use him again.

My experience as positive. The specifics of the job and pricing were explained to me in detail. The work was done as promised. I was also given some printed out information on lawn care and given some very good tips on things I could do in the future to maintain my yard. Communication was prompt, friendly and courteous. I was called back when I was told I would be and the work was done when he said it would be.

Bill is prompt and works harder than any contractor we have had. The last time he was here with an assistant for better than 1/2 day. He did a great job. He has also provided materials and instruction for us to use in the future.

Great visit. Provided information about landscape issues I had and gave me valuable handouts of free services available for consulting and soil testing. Worked with me to eliminate an invasive vine that was taking over trees in my backyard. 100% successful after 1.5 years.

Mr. Kunze came and started in the morning and worked at least 6 to 7 hours a day cutting back and putting herbicide on the vines to kill them. He worked in the hottest of temperatures and never complained once. He also gave me a contact for getting my lawn in shape and re doing the shrubbery in the front and back yards so that I can enjoy sitting outside again in a peaceful pretty place.

Bill worked one day solo and then brought another gentleman for two other days. He thoroughly discussed all of our options, even looking for ways to save us money. He is so courteous and pleasant. Looking forward to spring now!

Being a disable Veteran my condition no longer allowed me to manage my yard as I once did. This being said, Jungle Taming LLC service was a name appropriate to the condition that my yard had become. Mr. Kunze being knowledgeable and professional worked very hard and successfully removed all of the poison ivy, weeds and other foliage. his doing this gave us back our home and the fence lines that the forrest had claimed. What a great service! Our home is built on 2 2/3 acres. Originally, we kept the sides of our yard heavily wooded, but after 20 years it was out of control. Bill assessed the job and made recommendations to remedy the situation and maintain our yard. That was several years ago. Now Bill returns periodically to prevent vines and other undergrowth from taking over again. Bill is a meticulous worker. He is prompt, courteous, and does a thorough job. He is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. His price is on par with his expertise and the quality of his work and materials. You won't be disappointed with his results!

They did a very good job and were very thorough. My only problem is that he charged by the hour. I knew this up front, but he is an older gentleman, so he does work quite that fast. Other than that, he did an excellent job. You can't find anyone else to do that. He's very thorough and knew what he was talking about. He told us exactly what to do to maintain it afterwards and everything.

It went great! Bill always showed up promptly and worked very hard. The job he did with my yard was more complex than it sounds (including the ivy---there was a ton of it), and I felt like he earned every cent. He's licensed to treat for things like ivy and is environmentally conscious. Bill lives near the place that does soil sampling and even offered to take my samples by there for me, since I live nowhere near there and he does. He also recommended a landscape designer who not only created a beautiful design, she's also become a friend. If Bill doesn't do what you need, chances are he can recommend someone who can do it, and do it well.

He was very honest and genuine. He was meticulous in explaining what I needed even though he was not the best fit for what I actually needed. He has many years of experience. I would recommend him for his integrity.

I used his consultation coupon on Angie's List. The meeting went fine. Bill pointed me in the direction to get my yard the way I would like it to be.

He was extremely knowledgeable and honest.

Specifically, we were prepared to hire someone to prune our crepe myrtle bushes. Mr. Kunze advised that such pruning is not necessary. He also pointed out which bushes in the back yard were diseased and would not respond to treatment (six hawthorne shrubs). He gave us a detailed list of local landscaping companies, greenhouses and consultants to call to help us deal with a fire ant infestation and the best kind of mulch to use. Mr. Kunze motivated my husband and I to do a lot of the work ourselves and just do it.
