Good communication throughout as to appointment times and inevitable delays (weather), and once the project started they did it in one day. There were hidden issues with the roof that they found once the old roof came off, and the roof needed quite a few extra sheets of plywood more than had originally been estimated. I was shown photos of the damaged areas, and given the choice as to replacing those or not (I did). All receipts were saved and shown to me, all expenses and charges were clearly laid out and explained. The crew was friendly and polite and efficient. When they were finished and gone they left not a scrap of evidence that they'd been there, beyond the beautiful new roof. I am very very pleased!

David was very professional, knowledgable, and helpful. My wife and I have only been in our house since the spring. With all the recent rain, we found a small leak in a crawl space in our attic. We were very worried that this may be a sign that we would soon need a new roof, which isn't in our budget at the moment due to other costs recently purchasing a home. David came out a soon as he could (he was really backed up with all the recent rain, which is completely understandable). Though it was two weeks after we found the leak, it was well worth the wait. David sealed off the problem area, fix a few other issues he found that could become problems, and was able to reassure us that our roof was in good shape for 5-7 more years. For all this he only charged us a base service fee and guaranteed his work for two years. I feel very confident in his work because he was able to explain to me what was going on and why it happened. The overall piece of mind was well worth the service fee alone. I highly recommend Home Wrappers!

We were so satisfied with David and his team. When he first arrived he looked at roof, then discussed colors. We went through a lot of colors. We can never say enough about his eagerness to make the right choice. He even put a sample of the top three on the roof, and it made a big difference looking at it on the roof. We have never left a contractor to do something while we were out of town, but did with David. All went really well. When we got back we wanted the flashing done a little differently, and had a few personal (not problems) thing we wanted done, and he was again timely, and did a fabulous job. Would heartily recommend him.

Very good.David was very patient and understanding and I believe truly did the BEST job could be done. Helped me in selecting the roofing materials,color to best match my home and brought several different samples on several occasions until I had made up my mind.They don't just put on a new roof they take off everything down to the wood, inspect it, replace if necessary and put on quality products. We contacted David a the beginning of the rainiest summer ever. He came out immediately and inspected our roof, talked to us about what we were looking for, and within a day or two sent us a detailed estimate, with diagram! We got a quote from another company and it was within a couple hundred dollars, but that guy wasn't as knowledgeable. So, we hired Homewrappers, and are super glad we did. My husband and I were blown away by David and the level of customer service he provided. We actually ENJOYED getting a new roof. David made sure we understood our options and the pricing for each; he encouraged us to think outside the box. We went with the architectural, red shingles and LOVE it. The work was completed in one day, and the crew did a great job of protecting our beds around the house. David gives a workmanship warranty, in addition to the products warranty. The ONLY reason I gave a "b" for punctuality was because of the monsoon season we had and the emergency havoc it reeked- not exactly something they could control. David kept us in the loop insofar as scheduling, which we appreciated. I highly recommend this company.

Home Wrappers? slogan is ?Get 3, choose me.? Well I got 7 and still chose them. Not to say the others wouldn?t have done a great job. All price estimates were within $500.00. But David impressed me with his follow through and personal commitment. His crew exhibited teamwork, skill and professionalism. They had to work in between rain showers, always protecting my roof and kept on task. Crew was respectful and seemed to enjoy themselves even as they worked deliberately and fast which says a lot for their personal commitment and for their management. I have a two story and all work was completed in one day. They cleaned up the major debris after the roof removal and before starting the new roof which showed a method to the project I hadn?t expected. I had a hard time finding any evidence in the yard that they had been there. But the difference was in the roof, impressive to say the least and makes the house look new. Two of my neighbors came by after the job was finished to compliment me on my new roof. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Wrappers. I was so please with the roof; I had David install seamless gutters all around the house and would contract Home Wrappers again for any additional roof, gutter or siding work I might need.

Was very professional and willing to work with my schedule since I'm an out of town landlord. Very easy to work with. The price was competitive but I could have had installed cheaper, but I would rather use a reputable contractor instead of getting the best price. I didn't verify the shingle brand that was installed or inspect the roof very closely, since I didn't have a ladder at the time. Once the roof was started, it was completed very quickly. I would have given an "A" in most categories, except I have still not received warranty information on the mildew resistant shingles I had installed, which means I now have to call, again, to get it. Price is an estimate (+-$500) , as I don't have the actually contract in front of me. Update: I upgraded this to an A review, since I now have the warranty information in hand. I would definitely use Home Wrappers again and recommend them to others.

I called 3 businesses from your list on 5/13/13. I received a call back from David Smith of Homewrappers. He was very professional and courteous. He said he would come over the next day @ 4 PM, which he did. When he arrived he immediately went up on the roof, found out the problem and proceeded to collect supplies to make the repairs. I was pleasantly surprised that he would do the job the very same day!. I would highly recommend him and his services. I'd also like to add that of the other 2 businesses that I called from Angie's List, one never returned my call and the other said he was on the way over and called back with several excuses. He did not call back for several days. Thank goodness for prompt service from Mr. Smith!

It went very well. Reasonably priced and Dave is just an all around good guy. Project took a little longer than expected due to rain, emergencies for him and travel for us, but he was always punctual with returning phone calls and setting up times. He and his assistant were very respectful of my property. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

We called three Angie's list professionals. We went with David because of his professionalism and attention to detail. His price was fair for the job we needed done. It was all done in a timely manner using excellent quality products. He was very knowledgable and explained what he was going to do and why. When they were done, everything was removed and cleaned up. You wouldn't even know they were there. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality job at a reasonable price. He is the only roofing contractor that offered a 10 year labor committment. One other contractor offered 5 yrs labor and another only offered the shingle manufacture's warranty. We are very satisfied with a job well done!

We declined complete reroofing but arranged for spot repairs to stop specific leaks

My house was damaged in the hail storm we received over the 4th of July holiday. When I called Home Wrappers the owner came out and was professional, caring, and went ABOVE the call of duty. I had other roofing companies come out and they provided estimates. But this guy was amazing and treated me like a friend. He got up on my roof and really looked at it. Even though the hail had passed there were still rainstorms that following week that were really bad. This guy nailed down some of my loose shingles and charged me nothing. He just said he couldn't in good conscious leave my roof in a condition where I had water dripping down my ceiling when he could fix it in under 5 minutes. He walked me through the fixes to my property that needed to be done and gave me an estimate with the turn around time. Because of my budget, I was unable to go with Home Wrappers. I had to settle with my second choice which did a good job. But I was very impressed by the owner of Home Wrappers and wish that I would have been able to use them instead.

It went well. David returned calls promptly, gave an accurate estimate, was available for the job on our schedule, didn't mind explaining what they were doing and why.

Home Wrappers did a great job of replacing our roof. David was very prompt in returning my initial call, and made an appointment to come to the house within a very short time. He gave clear explanation of what he could do, made several suggestions we had not thought about, and offered several choices for us. The estimate was very detailed, and the work was scheduled very quickly. His work crew arrived early and did a very thorough job. There were several unexpected issues that they resolved quickly, and went beyond the original estimate to do an excellent job. The crew cleaned up completely after the work, and David came by the next day to check the work, and to do a final cleaning of the area around the house. This work was excellent, done in a timely fashion, and David was very easy and pleasant to work with.

It went well. David stopped by to get an explanation of the job, take measurements and gave us an estimate. Some parts of the job needed to be expanded as they went along. This happens.

We did not use David this time. We chose to go with someone who did recent work for us and was priced a little lower. David is great. We used his services for our roof 5 years ago and will consider him again for other services down the road. From prior experiences his work is of very high quality and he is a great guy. Never a bad choice using Home Wrappers.

My sun-room has had a long history of leak problems. It has a flat metal low-slope roof with several seams. Originally, it had 2 skylights. One of the skylights continued leaking in spite of repeated efforts to fix it. I had that skylight removed and covered over a couple of years ago when I was getting the main roof replaced. This year, the other skylight started leaking again, and I had resigned myself to getting it removed as well. I emailed HomeWrappers to get a quote. There was also a small leak in another location which I hoped they could find the source of and fix. David replied to my email the next evening, and indicated that he could come by to check it out the next week. He came by on the appointed day, went up on the roof, and checked things out. He suggested that rather than removing the skylight, he could put down an elastomeric coating called Hydrostop around it to prevent the leaks. It would include several layers, including cloth. He would have to come by on 2 days, to put down the various layers and let them dry. He found some loose shingles which might have been causing the other leak, and said that he could seal them. I agreed with this approach. He said that he would check if he had enough of the materials on hand, and if so, that he'd only charge me a service call for $125. He was already booked with work the next week, and said he'd get in touch with me. During the next week, he contacted me and set up dates for doing the work. Each day, he was punctual. He sealed the skylight. He also sealed the bottom of the covering over where the other skylight used to be, as that side hadn't been sealed. He put extra sealant on all the exposed fasteners, and also around the roof vents. I was quite pleased with the work. Since then, there have been a couple days of heavy rain, and there have been no further leaks.

I received estimates from several roofers, and David's prices were the second lowest bid. I chose David to complete our work for several reasons, including his thoroughness in measuring the job, explaining the process and providing a timely, complete estimate. David could also provide a turnkey solution for our one house needing roofing, fascia/soffits and gutters. All the work David's crews did was of the highest quality, including clean-up. He truly cares that his customers are satisfied, and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction. I called David the other day to look at a roof at our rental property. David went out, surveyed the roof, and completed some repairs that may have been the cause of some minor water damage. David told me the roof still has a couple of good years left, and he did not charge for the work. Believe me, when this roof needs replacing, David will be the person who does the job. I recommended David to some friends who need a new roof, and they are also very impressed with David. Home Wrappers is scheduled to replace their roof soon. I can be a very difficult customer to satisfy, and I rarely write rave, unabashed reviews. David is a great contractor, and a great man. I give him the highest recommendation and encourage everyone needing roofing, siding or gutter work to call David and ask him for an estimate.
