Description of Work: interior painting: some large ceiling areas; 95% of house walls and trims; helped tester paint some spots and name the colors for the brand of paints we wanted to use; great phone communication; owner had full and complete recall of all our request and special needs the day the well-staffed crew entered our home to start; felt comfortable to leave our home in their care; two days and done; came back for inspection and touch ups with us.

Description of Work: Overall the painting was very good. This was a job that was caused by hail damage to three ceilings and a kitchen. My main concern with the results of this job was after painting the ceilings and kitchen there was some apparent drywall damage on one of the walls connecting to the ceiling that was not taken into account during the initial estimate. Now I'm told the drywall is bad and needs some repair and this will cost me an additional $500-$750 dollars (this is if I choose to do the entire room) to repair and paint. I was also offered to paint just the one wall which I'm really not interested in doing or if I had some paint or knew the code of the paint it could be touched up (which I don't have and I know this is not the contractor's fault). I am not happy with this situation. I feel that if this (the drywall issue) needed to be done it should have been discussed during the initial estimate and allow me to make a decision at that time. I think overall there could and should have been better communication between both the contractor and myself.

Description of Work: Helped me pick out a color that matched our brick.Recommended the proper paint to use for our outside door.Painted our front door and surrounding pannels using a grain method which looks great!!!He did an excellant job.Was punctual.Cleaned up afterwords. We have had many compliments on the work. Needless to say, we are very pleased and would definately use them again!

Description of Work: Russ and his crew repaired sheetrock, sanded, and painted the interior of our living room, dining room, den, foyer, stairwell, and bedroom.

Description of Work: Ceiling and walls in Kitchen were mudded, smoothed and painted. Multiple doors were sanded and painted. Trim and chair rails were sanded and painted.

Description of Work: WOW!! RON MARCHESE and his CREW painted trim/repaired drywall, and various interior work. After that his crew did exterior trim, caulking, and painting of all porches, and shutters, and a fabulous faux finish on our mahogany front door--awesome! Whole job was about weeks and the crew always started and ended at appropriate times, were exceedingly polite, very careful, and cleaned up everything beautifully. Would highly recommend them as they are a super company!!

Description of Work: We contracted for interior painting of four ceilings (master bedroom closets, one bedroom and a large kitchen), minor repair and painting of bathroom cabinets and kitchen cabinet, and touch ups around the house. In addition, they repainted our front porch and front door.

Description of Work: They did a very nice job of applying original stain to a new front door, refurbishing two other wooden doors and a name plate/sign for my home. One coat of stain, two coats of sealing with sanding of coats in between over the course of three visits to my home. The work was actually done from 6/14/2011 through 6/17/2011 on 3 visits of about an hour or so each.

Description of Work: Washed down exterior services and painted all exterior trim and windows.

Description of Work: Kitchen cabinets caulked, sanded and glazed to brighten; Bathroom wallpaper removed, wall skim coated to smooth and fill any holes or cracks, primed and painted a lovely color; Mr. Marchese helped with picking out all the finishes and colors. He has a very good eye for what colors goes with what. Front porch was pressure cleaned, wood caulked where needed. Front porch and door painted with beautiful curb appeal.

Description of Work: Russ and his workers painted and glazed all of the interior and exterior of our kitchen cabinets. They also removed the old grout, regrouted and repainted all of our crown molding - and straightened the paint lines on the wall and ceilings throughout the house.
