Description of Work: Repaired a roof leak at my mother-in-law's house. The cap from the ridge vent had broken free and was letting water leak into the cathedral ceiling. They had every opportunity to "do the wrong thing" (exaggerate the extent of the damage, cause of the leak, recommend unnecessary repairs), but were very honest and stated what needed to be done and what could be deferred. I'm happy to endorse their work hope to work with them again.

Description of Work: They took a month or so to finally fix the roof . Tried 3 or 4 times of replacing singles and wood and it finally had to have a whole section repaired. They were always professional and polite. We didn't pay anything until it was fixed completely. It was probably a little more money than we expected but they did an excellent job in 100 degree temperatures . The nice owner came out times to talk to my husband and try to fix the problem.

Description of Work: I had other roofers who told me I needed a roof from hail damage when I did not. I asked them because I was told they would be honest. They told me I did not need work.

Description of Work: They are scheduled to do the service in May, but they were very friendly & professional when they came out to do the inspection & give me an estimate. They have been very friendly on the phone when I called with additional questions, too.

Description of Work: I contacted Burgin to give an estimate on a roof repair. The salesman came out and gave me an estimate which I was happy with and he told me it would be delayed due to increased business and the owner's family member passing away. I was somewhat happy with the repairs. The saleman was to contact me about providing an estimate on a whole new roof. Never heard back from him or company. Sent in payment with a note reminding them about the estimate. Still have not heard from them and at this point I don't want to hear from them.

Description of Work: They came out to inspect a leak we had. The gentleman that came out was very professional, looked at the stains, then went on the roof. Came back down and let me know that when you have the pattern of leaks that we had, it is usually due to the ridge vent that was on the roof. The roof was about 25 years old. He gave me a quote for the ridge vent. Then kindly noted that the roof is getting bad, and he wouldn't put any more money into that roof. I was inclined to agree seeing how we knew the roof wasn't going to last much longer as it was. So I asked if he could get me a quote on a new roof. He did and we got to pick the color. They came out on the scheduled day, started right before 8:00 and were done by 1:00. They had informed me before the work was started, and in the quote, that they had 4 sheets of plywood in the quote, and if more were needed, they would be a certain price per sheet. I thought 4 was a little low for the number of sheets that were going to be needed. They ended up using about 4 more sheets, not too bad. After the workers left. A gentleman came to the house walked around with me and answered any questions I had about the roof. He used a magnet to pick up any remaining nails on or near the driveway. He gave me the invoice, and I gave him the check with the adjusted amount. No more leaks! As a plus, there was a musty smell to the house before, and now it is gone.

Description of Work: Replaced existing shingles on whole roof with archictectural shingles, new (better) ridge vent. Went very well, showed up on time, explained job, covered all bushes with tarp - finished on schedule. Cleaned up all debris. Roof looks great.

Description of Work: They came on the day they said and fixed the leak where they thought it was and were very nice.. and professional. We had to call them back as it was still leaking and they looked at it further and fixed it. No other charges. Very nice people.

Description of Work: Got 5 quotes for a new roof. Ranged from$ 10,000 to 12,000. Lowest bid was independent guy who had good references but was not certified by the shingle manufacturer so no lifetime warranty. Burgin offered extended life time warranty transferrable for first 10 years thru the shingle manufacturer with 130 mph shingle warranty. On site Supervisor. It was a large roof 3 car garage and they were on the roof at 7 am and finished the entire job at 5 pm and did a great job cleaning up. They were the most expensive but you get what you pay for.and my roof was exposed for only part of the day so less worry about rain

Description of Work: Although the repairs to my roof were relatively small, I received personalized attention and a fair and accurate estimate of the required work. The crew arrived on time with all the proper equipment and supplies. The quality of the work is excellent - the section of the roof that was replaced blends into the rest of the roof nicely. We will use Burgin Roofing again when we need roofing services.

Description of Work: Asphalt shingle roof replaced on home and detached garage. Burgin got the job because the original estimate was detailed. Price was within 50.00 of competition. Communication by letters and phone calls was excellent. Stuart Burgin and Mike Hall did everything they said they would do. Work started on time and was completed in less than expected time. Clean up was done well. This is how business is supposed to be done.

Description of Work: Contractor agreed to provide me with a proposal and came to my home to inspect work to be performed. He measured and inspected my roof and said he would have a proposal to me in a few days. I never received a proposal from him. The other two roofers I asked for proposals had me bids within two days. I guess he had some reason for not submitting a bid but I expected more from him since he had a good reputation. I am not comlplaining about his work since he didn't perform any but do question his professionalism.
