They got all the plumbing working properly again. I look forward to lower water bills.

On time - started the project - told me what and why he was doing the task and completed with no problems.

Everything went vey well. They provided very quick and professional service. He came in and knew exactly what to do, did it, and was on his way!

It went very well. Rep was professional and did a fantastic job explaining everything to us.

Chad appeared on schedule. He was dressed in a professional manner. He was friendly and wore protected foot covers to protect my floors. He checked out the unit and showed me a picture of a part that was totally rusted out. He quoted a price and I told him to go ahead and replace it. I have an older unit, so I wasn't surprised that there might be some problems. The next day, the air conditioner did not work. I called and left a message on the office phone line, and Janet called me early the next morning. She said she would have someone out to diagnose the problem. Sure enough, she sent someone in a couple of hours. It turned out to be a problem with my electrical breaker. He made sure that there weren't any other problems, and didn't charge me for the call, even though the problem was with my electrical breaker. Smoake's President came to see me in the interim before the second service person arrived. NOW, that's what I call SERVICE!! I would recommend Smoake's to anyone that is looking for an A/C, HVAC, Plumbing company, and I plan to a service agreement with them.

The installer arrived on time and completed the work with no mess or problems. He also exchanged a toilet seat for us as a favor. We were impressed with the professionalism and service.

They were okay, not great but good. They charged me an additional $40 or $50 for the work which I thought was excessive. They were prompt and professional.

I found the leaking spigot was doing weeding in the side yard. My handyman came by and looked and suggested putting a cap or addition of a hose adaptor w/ a shut-off valve to stop the leak. Tried that but the leak persisted - and figured I was loosing a couple of gallons a day. I checked Angie's List for plumber reviews and found that Smoak's had received good reviews. In addition, Smoak's had an active Angie's List coupon for a discounted service call and credit towards services. I purchased the coupon and immediately sent an email from the link on Angie's List requesting the service be schedule. The email was promptly replied to by the scheduler (Janet) and we set a day/time frame over the phone. There was a little mix-up in the day scheduled (could have been my error) but when I called the scheduler on the afternoon I believed it was scheduled for, she quickly accommodated my need for service that day and not the next, and re-routed a plumber (on his way home) to meet me at my house (thanks again Janet, sorry Bruce :-) When I got home, Bruce was already there, and quickly evaluated the leak, gave me the 2 scenarios of work that could be required, and tried the least expensive route first after advising of the cost difference so I would know what to expect. I really appreciated his laying out what might be required, and was very personable and responsive to my inquiries and questions. Well, he was able to repair the spigot and stop the leak - the least expensive option, and between the Angie's List coupon that I bought and the discounts / credit it provided for my total out-of pocket was only $68! I will definitely be calling Smoak's in the future for additional services as needed - they were professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and so very nice to deal with.

They were excellent. Their prices were not low. They kept on talking with our neighbor and he had gotten a couple of quotes and he was considerably higher but I knew he was offering a better equipment. When my air conditioner went out, I had a problem with the heat pump so I called them. I had to go on Angie's List to find them. They came in the next day and they put in a new unit, it was that quick. They did a really good job. They came out and gave me options that I could do. It turned out I had leaks in the system and all of the freon had leaked out and the pump wasn't working at all. They charged it so we could determine if there were leaks in the system and obviously we did because it had leaked out but they located the leaks and I had some inside and one outside so they gave me the option of replacing the coils. They thought they could fix the leak on the outside but doing that was half as much as expensive as it would to replace the whole system and with the whole system I get five years labor warranty and ten years parts, I was pretty happy with that. They were very courteous. The guys who came out that did the installation knew what they were doing and explained everything to me that they were doing so I was out there trying to learn. I was with them most of the day and the unit that they replaced which we call a contractor's unit was not quite the same quality as the one that I replaced it with. They told me that the coil upstairs, the frame that it was mounted in was galvanized metal and you wouldn't believe the rust, it was rusting away. It had a metal stand for the unit to sit in and it was rusting away because it was nine years old. They replaced them and the coils were larger than the other one and it was aluminum and the stand was plastic so it won't rust at all. They did a really good job. I watched them do the whole thing and they were just really good.

They took care of the servicing and inspected our vent system.

Although Smoaks advertised plumbing along with air conditioning, the man started by saying they didn't do much plumbing. He complained about being short handed and brought another employee with him( a carpenter) saying he had a bad back and couldn't do any heavy work. He said it would cost an additional 300.00 to remove the toilet. He snaked the toilet which helped some, but there is still a problem. I guess we should consider this money down the drain(pun intended) and call Roto Rooter. Above was my initial review. When Mr. Smoak read the review he was very amazed and upset. He sent out a master plumber within a couple of days and the man was thorough, professional and courteous. The problems were easily found and there was no additional charge. He told us to call if there is any further problem and he would be back. Everything is working perfectly now and I changed the review to A's.

They charged a flat rate for a job that took only half an hour. Normally plumbers charge an hourly rate. They also charged $116 for diagnostics, even though I already told them what the problem was. I had raised concerns and the only response was that is "how we do business".

Very easy to deal with. The plumber left to go get a new toilet and returned promptly to replace it.

Very professional. Detailed explanation of problem. Performed work in a timely fashion and for a reasonable price. They came highly recommended by friends, and we would certainly recommend them to others.

Each time it was an emergency- Heat out during very cold wether or hot weater heater out in winter time. They were very responsive and got it done for me!

The man who had come to the house to discuss the problem was the installer. He arrived on time and went to work. He was a skilled and extremely competent professional. He cut the outer metal and the inner insulation off the old unit and with his helper was able to remove the old unit from the closet. They then installed the new tall boy unit with overflow pan which fit the space well. Additionally, he had to cut though the inner walls of the closet, bookcases in the adjoining bedroom, and outside brick wall to install the overflow drain pipe. It was an all day job, and I am highly pleased with the outcome. The workmanship was impeccable, and there wasn't a speck of dust or debris left afterwards. I highly recommend Smoaks for top quality work.

My technician arrived and explained everything he was going to do. He was careful not to track mud into the house. He completed the check-up and explained the results, including any follow-up if needed. I was pleased with how thorough, polite and professional he was. I used a special pricing coupon but I would definitely use this company again.

Great first time experience with Smoak's. Will definitely use again. Very knowledgeable.

Arrived on time & completed the tune-ups on the toilet with in the hour.

Technician was excellent and we will definitely call on Smoaks for future HVAC needs.

Had an issue with my A/C not working. Smoak's personal could not read the diagram of the wiring due to it being burnt away on the panel so did not want to put the relay switch in. We payed him for the service call and I called my regular A/C person who performed the repair. I would go back to Smoak's for other repairs if they are needed in the future.

The service was performed as promised. One of the toilets needed repair and that was done at this time. The service technician was very thorough and we certainly got our money's worth. There were no surprises. The entire experience was positive. We have additional plumbing work to be done and the technician explained to us how he would do it efficiently and with the least amount of mess. We will be scheduling the work after the first of the year and are confident that the customer service that we have experienced with Smoak's will be consistent. Since we have a maintenance contract for heating and air with Smoak's, their plumbing services are also covered.

The entire experience with Smoak's was very positive. They scheduled for the same day since we thought we might be having furnace issues and arrived within a few hours. The service was thorough and everyone involved in the process from the first phone call to the finished work was pleasant, helpful, and very professional. Smoak's is definitely a customer service oriented company and goes the extra mile to make certain the work was done correctly and that we were satisfied. No surprises!

The service technician was late due to traffic problems but the office called in advance to let us know. Once he arrived, he went straight to work and performed all tasks in a timely and professional manner. He gave us reasonable estimates for work that may need to be done in the future.
