They did not fix my garage door. He just left saying that I needed a new one.

Overall the job went very well with excellent end results of two new fully operational garage doors and very quiet operation. We were having extensive repairs made to our home and needed new garage doors. One of the contractors doing some other repair work gave me some names of garage door companies. After reviewing some of them on Angies List I selected and contacted Mike Cardarelle with Overhead Door Company of Charleston. Mike did an excellent on-site inspection of the existing garage doors installation. The need for a low headroom track and extension springs were identified. Mike also did an excellent job of explaining the difference between selecting an Insulated verses a Non-insulated door. We went with his recommendations and are very pleased and satisfied with Mike Cardarelle and his technicians. The product is selling itself.

Spring broke on Sunday. Called Monday moring - service repairman at my house before noon and completed before noon on Monday morning

I requested quotes from several garage door companies and were amazed at how many companies do not bother to respond or take forever to do so. That was not the case with Overhead Door. Their representative promptly responded to my request and immediately, came out to measure and discuss options. The doors were delivered and installed when promised. Overhead's installer was prompt and and very professional. The installer did not stop or slow down until both doors were completely installed and fully operational. Not only do the doors look beautiful, operation of them is easy and extremely quiet. It is a pleasure to drive-up and see the difference that quality garage doors doors and professional craftmanship can make in a homes appearance.

We contacted Overhead Garage Doors and they returned our call on a timely basis to schedule the service call. They explained that the 25% discount for Angie's members covered only the service call charge and we would have to pay for any parts, etc. The technician arrived on time and knew immediately what the problem was and made the repair. He also made an adjustment to the wiring so as to prevent the problem in the future. The technician arrived at the scheduled time, was polite, explained what he did and what steps he took to avoid future problems. We only were charged for the service call and were given the discount. This is the second time we have used Overhead Garage Door in the last 4 years and have been pleased with their work and their prices.

Technician (Travis) came at a timely manner, he was very polite and introduced himself. He was professional and he knew what he was doing. The work was done in a timely fashion and the price could not be beat. I would gladly tell any one who needs a garage door repaired to contact Overhead Doors in the future as i plan to use them again if the need arises.

Our garage door just starting opening and closing on its own. We became members of Angie's list and started looking for a reputable company. Once we selected one listed on Angie's list, I called them and they were able to send a technician out that same day. They gave me an estimated time and then called about 30 minutes prior to his arrival. Brett was very personable and professional. After installing the new garage door opener he went over it full detail with my husband and me to insure that we understood how to operate it because it had some features that our old opener did not have. He also adjusted the door. The difference is unbelievable. The new opener is so quiet we don't even hear it. The old one sounded like a freight train.

Replaced part that was causing garage door to work improperly. Everything was first rate. This is second time I'v e used them. I'll continue to do so. I used a $25 Angies List coupon to reduce the cost from $130 to $105.

I called the company and the technician was out the very next morning. He called 20 min before arrival to let me know he was on his way. Upon arriving and hearing the complaint, he tested the garage door opener and immediately stated that I had a stripped gear. He gave me the quote on what it would cost to replace the gear and had the job completed within an hour. The technician was also wonderful in the fact he explained what he was doing it while doing the work and open to answering any other questions I had in general.

They really did a good job with this project. They were very quite and professional. They did what they said they were going to do. I wish I would have had them at my other house.

The tech arrived on time. Installed the opener and then explained the operation.

Told me he would be here between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm for initial visit. He showed up at 3:00 pm. The service call lasted 10 minutes. Parts were in stock and came out 2 days later at 8:30 for replacement. Over all they gave good service. Brett was good!

The garage doors are fantastic and the man was incredibly fast. The doors are so quiet that you can't hear them going up and down or landing. I was amazed. They were a little bit pricey. We would absolutely use them again.

Our garage door broke, so we called Overhead Door. They came out the next day, measured, and gave us a quote for 3 different levels of doors, one they had in stock, the other two would need to be ordered. We opted for the one they had, and it took 2 weeks for them to come back and install (They were super busy -- but they gave me a date, and stuck to it). The installer arrived when promised and was very polite and friendly. He got the new door installed in a few hours, and hauled away the old one. I don't know if $1250 is a good price or not, but that's about what I expected. Love the keypad entry, and the garage door works great, and is very quiet. Overall, a good experience. And I am picky.
