From estimate-to-completion, all work went as planned or better. The technician showed up promptly for the estimate and we scheduled a Thursday (two days later) repair appointment. On Wednesday, he called and let us know that he was available, so he came over a day early to install. He installed the spring system as planned. What really impressed me was his handling of the opener, which I had already purchased on my own online a few weeks earlier. He pointed out that I could use the motor from the new opener, ) and that the bracket, mounts, rail and chain from the older system were compatible and higher quality the new system. He recommended I do it myself and save $150 it would have taken for him to install it for me. Took me a couple hours, but I installed it myself uneventfully. I'd recommend these guys for any job, for their punctuality, cost an honesty

One of my garage doors would not open or close. Contacted Overhead door of Charleston and John came out on day requested. Very honest and he did not try to sell me more than what was needed. Fixed garage door without having to replace the motor. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism as I was taken to the cleaners by Precision One several years ago. Will definitely use in the future whenever I have a problem or what to replace my garage doors,

We didn't have any problems. He didn't try to sell us anything, and my husband suggested he add something and he added it. it was okay. They called us within 3 days of purchasing the big deal. My husband over saw the work, and whatever they did improved the door, and I appreciated that they didn't try to sell us anything. They worked quickly, and they showed up when they said they would. I had some cheaper prices, but I felt that they had been in business the longest.

The spring was replaced and other minor problems were also took care of. It is a really professional service. If there is anything wrong with my garage door in the future (hopefully not), I will use their service again.

The man that came out was very nice and personable. He was very professional and did not attempt to sell any additional services. He double checked the sensors to make sure everything was working properly. He did a great and I would highly recommend to other members.

I called OHDC door company first thing on Monday morning after having the spring on my door snap. They stated the tech was in Kiawah and they would see if he could get to me today. I received a call back stating the technician could be there between 3:30 and 4:30. Right around 3:30, John pulled up in my driveway. Quoted me what I considered a very fair price and proceeded to fix the door all the while answering my questions. He was very proffessional and even walked next door to give my neighbor a quote for some work. I would not hesitate to call this company.

Everything went fine. They were substantially less expensive than precision door company.

Scheduling was prompt and the technician was on time. He spent the extra time to get the door operating promptly and checked the other two doors for smooth operation and made adjustments at no charge. Highly recommended!

The service technician arrived on time, discussed the damage and offered a short term solution. He serviced the door pulley system, replaced the springs and broken cable with the correct weighted springs, and installed a manual lock since the door could no longer lock. He was thorough and fast. Before leaving he provided me with a very fair estimate to replace both of our 20+ year old garage doors and add another automatic garage door opener for the second door.

I called in the morning and they repaired the garage door that very same day! They were professional and did an excellent job. We were happy to save $25.00 off the repair by using an Angie's List coupon.

The tech arrived on the date I had specified in the deal. He called 20 minutes before arriving. Even though one of the rollers on the door had been torn off, it was replaced and all other rollers as well, with nylon rollers fitted onto ball bearing mounting.. The tech gave us tips to care for the door, and was completely finished in less than 30 minutes.

We scheduled it for a couple of weeks after that because of my scheduling. They did everything that they had promised to do. This was my first time using them. The technician was very knowledgeable. Initial visit on 8/22/13 determined that my door needed long-stem rollers instead of regular (short) stem. These were on back order & I was told that I would be called when the parts came in. In the meantime, the service tech lubed the door & spring, & serviced the motor. When the parts arrived I received a phone call to schedule installation & this was completed on 9/12/13. The door runs so quietly now, & it doesn't stick at the curve! Great job!

Great. They didn't have the right rollers on the first trip, but were back the next week when they came in.

Overhead Door contacted me within two or three days of my purchase of their special. Their technicians came out, at my convenience; however, they had to order longer rollers due to our hurricane door as it took a longer shaft roller. The owner/manager called me later to apologize for the delay and then called when the rollers came in. We were out of town when the rollers came in but scheduled a time when we got back in town. The technicians were here within their time frame and finished within 15 minutes! We've used this company before and would never use any other garage door company but Overhead Door for our garage door needs! They are an excellent company to do business with! My door is so quiet!!

Great service. I was called while the tech was on site. Given the cause of the problem and the price to repair while he was there. He had the parts; did the repair and the opener was working when he finished. Just the kind of service you would like to receive but seldom do. The price was fair and reasonable. Will definitely recommend and use again if the need arises for any work they do.

The residential scheduler was out of town when the Big Deal was purchased. After several emails, I finally called the company and talked with the commercial scheduler. He was very helpful and everything worked out well.

We took advantage of the deal Angie's List was posting for $99 garage tune up. They showed up on time and fully inspected, cleaned and lubricated the track. In addition he changed my old metal rollers for new plastic ones, which are much quieter and after lubricating the tracks the door no longer "catches." The 2nd door did not have the rollers swapped, but he did clean the tracks and lubricate. He advised that the doors and opener are all still working very well and didn't recommend any additional requirements. He offered advice for the future IF we decide someday to upgrade, but advised there was no hurry as our doors are working fine. We WILL use them again for our future Garage door needs.
