They arrived when scheduled and replaced the socket as I had requested. They were very polite and professional and we enjoyed having them in our home. I asked them for a quote on getting some ceiling fans installed. I received the quote via an email along with my invoice.

Jeff has done work for me before at another house. Just like before, he was prompt, professional and courteous. He is very good about explaining things without wasting your time by going on and on. (Some contractors, I've learned, really love the sound of their own voices ...) He and his crew arrived exactly when expected, went right to work and finished in a matter of hours. I will continue to use Jeff for any electrical work I need done on my home and my rental properties. He was also very respectful of my tenants, which I appreciated.

I called on Friday afternoon and we set up an appointment for Monday morning. He arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. I had asked that one floodlight be checked because one of the bulbs kept going out within a short amount of time. Jeff suggested that I buy a replacement in case he needed to replace it. He quoted me $75 to replace it. Over the weekend I decided to replace both front floodlights so they would match. When he arrived he agreed to replace both and only charged $100. I couldn't be more satisfied and would definitely use them again!

I had called Jeff that Tuesday morning and he said that he could be over that afternoon to look at the problem. He arrived when he said he would. I showed him the circuit in question and he quickly diagnosed the problem area, it was an original socket that had finally succumbed to salt air and the elements. He was able to repair this and tested the circuit to make sure all sockets were working. I showed him some electrical work that had been cobbled toether when we had a enclosed porch added a few years ago. Jeff made the old work safe and according to code so there were no problems in the future. I was so impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail that I am planning on having him come back and do some more work. If you need an electrician who is professional,fair and courteous Jeff is the man. No hesitation in recommending him to others.

My overall experience was excellent! My service technician was jeff and I was very very pleased with the service provided. He was very responsive. I called and he scheduled me for service the very next day. He arrived on time, and was very professional. I haven't seen a technician like that in a long time. He also gave me advice on my services, and future services. Price was excellent, he performed good quality work , and I used my coupon. Jeff is very friendly, I enjoyed talking to him, he was careful, and he took the time for me to ask questions. I will definitely use this service again and I recommend this company to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

I called Jeff on 9/5/12 to inquire about installing a ceiling fan in my kitchen and explained what I wanted. He was very courteous and responsive. He called me the following day and said he would come over Monday. Rob arrived promptly at 0900 as discussed. He was very professional and informative of what needed to be done. We chose this contractor because of his great reviews on Angie's List, and we were not disappointed. Jeff was prompt, courteous and professional. He explained why the outside light fixtures were not working, replaced them, and also a 4th light in the back of the house. He repaired the chandelier (which hangs at 2nd floor level in the foyer) quickly and efficiently. We also asked him for advice on removing an old hot water heater to replace with a tankless one. He provided reference information on the spot, and advised that he would definitely be able to provide assistance with that project. We highly recommend Jeff.

my sister ran into the end of the garage wall that divides the garage from the guest bedroom on the other side, causing electrical outlets to not work. New Power checked all outlets, even in the attic, to make sure there was no damage to the wiring. They then explained to us how this threw the breaker to that room and showed us how to use this specific breaker box which has a safety feature to it and does not work like others I have seen. We now know how to use this specific breaker box in the future. They also referred us to a company to fix the bedroom wall.

Jeff is both knowledgeable and reasonable. He came out to give a quote last week, and completed the work today. Everything looks and functions well. I am very happy, and would certainly call Jeff for future electrical work.

Called Jeff and was immediately glad I did. He worked with my schedule and showed up the next day at a time that worked for me. When he arrived, he was very respectful and polite. He was true to the price he quoted on the phone and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (a power outlet that wasn't properly installed and had actually caught on fire). I had no power in my dining room ~ no lights, outlets didn't work either. I went to Angie's List and read about all of the electricians in the area. Jeff Gouin had an outstanding number of fantastic reviews ~ no negatives noted. I called Jeff, he was very personable and we set up a meeting within 48 hours. He was prompt and very professional. He determined the problem was the feed or homerun for the dining room circuit was damaged, creating the neutral wire to carry 120v as well as the hot wire. New Power Electrical Service was a pleasure to do deal with in every way. I'm delighted with all aspects of the service.

The owner, Jeff, came out and gave an estimate, 500 dollars under the previous estimate. He honored the 10% discount for the Angie's list reference as well. The estimate was given several days before Thanksgiving, and he came out the day after and part of another day to complete the work. Excellent work all around!

Bottom Line - Quick yet thorough, patiently explained things to me (I like to know how things work/don't work so ask a lot of questions), and cost effective resolution. Very happy customer.

We had lost power to our guest room. Personal inspection found inconsistencies with the wiring but I could not narrow it down to what was causing my issue. I contacted New Power Electrical Services, they arrived the next day (and offered same day service). They confirmed my suspicions that it was poor workmanship, and corrected multiple wiring issues, each of which that could have individually contributed to my power issues. Quick, Polite, Professional, and did an awesome job getting our power back on. I am having them come back to check on the rest of the wiring (as now I have doubts as to the quality in the rest of the house) just for my piece of mind. Highly recommended to give them a call if you have electrical issues.

They does a good job and is very courteous. He's gets to work and does what's needed. He's cheerful and knowledge. His prices are very reasonable.

My boyfriend and I joke about our house being the "Repo" house. It is our first attempt at a Flip We are both very "handy" around the house, but we steer away from major electical stuff. It was built in the early 70s. Almost everything that we get at the hardware store has to be modified or added to in order to fit the specs of the 70s. So it was no surprise when Jeff and Rob had to make the breaker box opening in our laundry room larger to accomidate the new more modern boxes of today. Out came the reciprocating saw to cut away the drywall, then the chissel and hammer for a small adjustment into the wall stud (LOL). There was a slight hiccup with the external meter box, a key component was aged and weathered badly and needed to be replaced. Although they never came right out and said it, it was implied that it was a miracle that our Repo house hadn't caught on fire with all of the poor wiring in the breaker box. Jeff and Rob were ON TIME, POLITE, VERY THOROUGH and they didn't kill my wallet either! Any time you have to call an Electrician, it's not going to be cheap, especiall if it's Quality. These guys were Quality and easy (er) on the budget! They will be the only entry in my phone under Electrician!!

Aside from my stove and refrigerator, the power in my kitchen for lights and outlets was not working. Jeff came out and repaired the wiring. He performed top-notch electrical work. He was nice and pleasant during the appointment. He was cost efficient and explained how much it would cost before performing the repair, which I greatly appreciated. He is prompt, an excellent worker, very knowledgeable, has good work habits, is very pleasant, has reasonable prices, and is dedicated to his craft. If you need a good electrician please call him!

Called Precision Electric first but was effort not successful. Called New Power next. Jeff and a helper came right away and quickly diagnosed the problem as a loose screw in a fan blade causing vibration, which he tightened. While he was here I pointed out that I had two burned out floodlights in our very high ceiling which I could not replace. He and helper figured out how to get to them and replaced the lamps. No extra charge. Very satisfactory experience.

Jeff asked if he could arrive early (7am) in order to beat the heat. This was no problem for us. The whole job was done in about two hours because we already had a junction box in the attic that was serviceable. The price was very fair. I expect to recoup the cost of the attic fan within two years by lowering my cooling bills. The attic fan was a through the roof design. The small mushroom dome on the rear roof is not visible from the street and is not an eyesore. This is the second job done for us by New Power Electrical and we will use them again.

Jeff came to our home to do an assessment, drew up an estimate and sent it to us on the next business day. He arrived early to the scheduled appointment and finished on time. The two man team was considerate of the house and tried to disrupt us as little as possible. Jeff is very honest and seems to be an all around nice person. He answered all of my questions and wanted me to understand what was going on. I would recommend him to anyone. We already have another job lined up for him in our home.
