He did a very thorough job and eliminated anything wrong electrically. The probable culprit was hardwood floor shavings (we had recently had some repairs) in the heating ducts that were giving off an odor when the heat came on. We were very happy with New Power services and would definitely call them again.

just purchased a new(old) house, couple of switches wernt working as well as some outlets. I'm pretty handy, and was able to locat the problem, but I could tell the wiring was not done correctly, and was not up to code. Called New world, time was scehcudled a couple days out, he showed on time. He confirmed my diagnosis and took about 20 min to come up with the correct way to re-wire, told me what it would cost, and completed the would with in about a hour. I had a bunch of unrelated questions about the wiring in my new house, and he spent 30-45 min walking around with me talking thru some issues and offering suggestions I would and will highly reecomend.

Jeff diagnosed a rather odd and strange pre-wiring issue that the home builder created at the time the house was constructed. Since we did not build the house, we were not aware of this issue until the breaker tripped in the middle of the night. THis job was a head-scratcher, and Jeff was able to identify the problem and correct it in a quick and cost-efficient manner.

Great. Very satisfied. We need to have him back for more work. Called his contact number but Voice Mail Box was full.

This is the third time I have used New Power and every time they have been very professional,on time and the jobs were done right the first time. This is my go to firm for anything electrical.

They were running a little behind the day of my appointment but after the electrician arrived he quickly determined the cause of my not having any power to 2 of my kitchen outlets. He replaced the parts needed & was done in about 30 minutes. He was a very pleasant person & enjoyed my parrots' vocalizations while he worked. :)

Showed up on time. Very professional. Explained what was wrong. Went about his business of fixing the wiring and re-installing our ceiling fixture. Would definitely use this company again.

Arrived on day of appt., they did reschedule to later in the day but called first to make sure it was OK with me, did the work thoroughly and quickly, no mess. Also came up with a controller from their truck so that we could have 3 speed panel for fan, this wasn't included with the equipment we had purchased. Everything works fine.

Jeff is a professional. He was originally supposed to arrive at 9:00 a.m. and found himself in a gridlock on the Interstate. He called promptly to re-schedule which we did for the same day. Upon arrival he explained why he wanted to use the bracket that came with the light rather than the existing bracket and his choice was proven correct in short order. He made numerous adjustments until the light hung correctly and he then tested everything and cleaned up completely. He is personable, knowledgeable, and competent.

Jeff and crew installed new LED flood lights controlled off of a photo cell, that light up the Front Entrance to Blackberry Creek Subdivision, something that was truly needed as the previous lights were insufficient and not to code. New Power Electrical Services also corrected the Pavilion and park area with new lighting bring it up to code placing light in the rafters and lights on the trees and aimed in directions to light up the area. It sounds simple but it was not. It is not a case would we use New Power Electrical Services it is would they come to our rescue. They truly worked with the board to satisfy the neighbors. It was a good relationship eventually between the HOA and New Power Electrical Services and the work has received praise from a few of the homeowners especially over the entrance lighting.

Excellent work by the two men who were here, Rob and Ray. We were very pleased with their service. With the extreme rainy weather that we have had, they had to work around and through very wet soil but did well.

Jeff came out to diagnose the cause for several dead outlets throughout my home, explaining the receptacles were "back-stabbed" and therefore, had loosened over the years. He replaced a faulty light switch in the kitchen, then tightened the connections on all outlets, to alleviate the immediate fire/safety threat, since I was expecting a house-full of visitors the very next day. This provided me a great deal of relief, in light of my situation. Three days later, Jeff sent Ray and Rob out to replace all receptacles, indoors and out. This company did a fabulous job, far exceeding my expectations! From diagnosis to execution, I couldn't be more pleased. These gentlemen were such great listeners and so in-tune with my budget concerns, they actually satisfied my electrical needs AND came in at $75.00 below the original quote. They cleaned up after themselves, plugged in all lamps and other items that would have been hard for me to reach, and moved my furniture back into place. They answered all questions and addressed all concerns- even went so far as to explain how to replace an old smoke detector on my own. As Rob (brilliant young man) finished up the last receptacle, Ray quickly tightened a hinge on my back door, explaining that it was the reason the door was difficult to close! If you're looking for superior communication, professionalism, fair pricing, and quality electrical repairs, this company is definitely the one to call. Kudos, fellas!

We are a military family. We bought our very first home in Charleston and when we got orders had to move. So our home is now a rental. Being that we don?t Live there and we have renters in our home we needed to get the problems resolved quickly. Jeff the owner was ver polite. Got back to me quickly and setup am appointment. He fixed the problems and was fair with his pricing. Other companies charge what our total cost was with Jeff JUST for the estimate. To me thats ridiculous. He was professional... On time.... And fast we will be using him from now on for anything electrical in our home. So glad we found a good electrician we can trust with our home. I will be recommending him to all of our neighbors who are military as well and will be PCSing soon and renting their homes out. THANK YOU JEFF.

He was out here immediately and was wonderful, did a great job, explained everything about it and it was actually was an electric problem company and they waited with me until they got here to fix it. He was so nice 'cause I was telling him there were other things I want to do later and he said I'm just going to charge you a service call today. He said save your coupon from Angie's List and we'll use it when you do something big and I said great deal. It was a $75 service call but he was here for about 2 hours. The owner called me back after the call to make sure everything went well and that everything had been explained to me.

Jeffrey the owner came with his worker, Rob. The work turned out to be excellent. They were responsive and professional. They had good communication skills and had good work ethics. We were very happy with what we saw. We are thrilled to use them again. The price was a little high, but they might be within the ballpark of what the electricians charge.

Arrived on time. Professional appearance and demeanor. Discussed and analyzed problems. Made repairs efficiently and effectively. Offered less costly suggestion for dryer problem. (Would have involved drywall penetration and replacement). All work completed in a timely manner. Friendly attitude, personable.

Very pleased with New Power Electric's service. Only disappointment is we wanted to have them come back for more work and no success reaching them.

The only difficulty was that the new fans did not fit the opening for the old ones. Apparently the standard sizes have changed. I was concerned that we had to patch the ceiling and I needed to have it done so that I could rent the townhouse to vacationers in 2 days. The owner personally found a handyman service to save the day and do the repair before Saturday. I appreciated New Power Electric for going above and beyond to help me.

I called Jeff at New Power Electrical on Monday which also happened to be Martin Luther King Day and a holiday. Not only did he answer immediately, but he was able to give me a quote for the work and scheduled the work for the very next day, Tuesday! On the scheduled day of work, Rob (I believe that was his name) and one other employee came to work on the fan. They arrived on time and completed the work in an hour! Rob was very professional and friendly. The price was great too, as it was more affordable than other quotes we were given. They also did a better and more efficient job than the other company that replaced the bathroom vent/fan in our other bathroom. The bathroom was left tidy after the work as well. We just loved them! I look forward to using them again in the future.

Jeff met his appointment at my house for the estimate - however he never called back with the actual estimate. I can only surmise therefore that he is either disinterested or not capable of doing the work . Grade is an A for the first meeting but a Fail to follow through with a phone call ~ the result C.

It was great - they were professional, arrived on time and did a great job. My only problem was that there was supposed to be two guys come and do the work and there was only one. It could have taken less time, but overall, not a huge deal. We really appreciate the work and will use them in the future for anymore electrical needs.

I called NEw Power yesterday and left message. Mr. Goiun responded promptly and came today. I thought thaat it might take several days before I would receive help. He determined cause of pproblem and fixed. Everything is working perfectly. I was pleased with everything.
